  1. I am hoping we go hard after Ngakoue in FA. He's going to cost, but he is likely the premier pass rusher set to be on the market in 2020. Sign him then draft Yetur Gross-Matos and DE is set. YGM reminds me of a young Michael Strahan.
  2. The only guy I can see Arians moving is Howard because he completely devalues a TE in his system. If they can get a 1st and an additional pick for him then he's gone. Arians loves his WR's though.
  3. Evans just put up 198 and 2 TD's. Arians isn't letting him go anywhere.
  4. Gonna be a lot of miserable people here at 4:01pm. This team sucks, Beane is asleep at the wheel, the incompetence at OBD is unacceptable, can they not see that this team has needs, blah-biddy-blah-biddy-blah-blah-blah.
  5. Pull up the stats from the SB and let me know how those "high powered" Rams fared about 9 months ago. Did Josh lose 3 fumbles on Sunday? Did I miss something? Wentz fumbled as well, but caught a fortunate bounce. I'm not even going to go into detail about the 4th quarter because you won't grasp it. Again, people who don't like Allen are going to p*** and moan about Allen no matter what. He has 6 TD passes and 1 INT in his last 3 games so now people are going on and on about the fumbles. His completion percentage is up like 10% over last year, but now it's he's not putting up enough stats for me. He has already carried the team to 5 victories in 7 games, with the only two defeats being against the last two SB champions, posting one of the best 4th qtr QB ratings in the entire NFL, and coming up clutch when it matters most, but now it's the weak schedule he is benefiting from. I don't think that what is "acceptable" in your eyes means anything, really. The only thing that matters is wins and losses. Get to the playoffs, hopefully Josh and the defense are playing their best football then, and everyone is 0-0.
  6. And like I said, people who have always been Allen detractors will continue to be Allen detractors p***ing and moaning along the way no matter what growth he shows or the results on the field.
  7. And just what has he done in the 4th quarter of games this year with the stakes at their highest? Run them down the field for the win? Your "needs" and reality don't seem to correlate.
  8. When McDermott and Beane came in the team had salary cap issues. They overachieved with a mediocre roster and caught a massive break from Andy Dalton and Tyler Boyd to get into the playoffs. If you watched the playoff game against the Jags, the top defense of that year, it was clear we could have and should have won that game. Tyrod was on full display in that one. He was never going to be the answer. What we had behind him was trash. We had an aging running back and some tough decisions to make. The process of the rebuild was sped up by the fact Richie lost his marbles again and Eric Wood was forced to retire. We jettisoned malcontents Sammy Watkins, Marcell Dareus, and Cordy Glenn. All three were talented players, but either didn't want to be here or didn't possess the right attitude in the current organization's eyes. Depth and an overall lack of talent was a huge problem on this team. Over the last three years they have brought in many quality players, clearly having a plan of what they want to improve in each offseason. The salary cap woes have been effectively eradicated. The overall depth of this team is better than it's been in quite some time. They went all in on Allen and he looks to have quite a promising future in front of him. That is unless you are an Allen detractor, in which case you will continue to p*** and moan no matter what he does on the field. In the last 3 years the OL has been revamped(partially forced due to unforeseeable events that took place), the WR corps has been revamped, the secondary has been revamped, the LB unit has been revamped, the interior DL has been revamped, they got their franchise QB as well as a more than capable backup, and in 2019 they are 5-2. Weak schedule, no weak schedule, who cares? Teams still have to execute on the field, injuries happen, and there is always going to be parody outside of the constant which is NE(as long as Brady and BB are there) in the NFL. We have a young team at MANY positions, all of which whom are growing together. You can see growth in the young guys, even though they are going to have lapses at times. If you can't see this team is headed in the right direction and understand they are building for sustained success then I don't know what to tell you. If you can't grasp the complete roster overhaul that has taken place I don't know what to tell you. If you can't understand the youth of this roster and the typical growing pains with such youth then I don't know what to tell you. If you can't understand or have a problem with "the process" of the whole thing then I don't know what to tell you. Like I said in another thread we weren't going to be 15-1 this year running the table, beating the Pats in NE, and winning the division. Are there still issues that need to be worked out? Absolutely. Are there things or coaches that all of us have opinions about one way or another? Absolutely. The incessant whining, crying, and fire everyone posts by all of the Allen haters and Billspolar after a loss, our 2nd loss in 7 games, (our only two losses being to the teams who won the last 2 Super Bowl's mind you) is pretty ridiculous from top to bottom. I'd say 5-2 while being in a prime position for a playoff spot this year isn't bad at all. Some people can't see the forest for the trees.
  9. This is EXACTLY what I thought when I read it.
  10. Fitz going for broke..... or trying to get broken
  11. Devin Bush looks like he has a sh*t lock hanging out the back of his helmet
  12. No surprise there. He's another one who doesn't understand situational football.
  13. We have a favorable schedule to make the playoffs. We should be able to cash in on that. We were never going to go 15-1, beat the Pats in NE, and win the division. A loss brings out all of the Nancy's, Allen haters, and Billspolar to go on thread sprees. Once we get in the playoffs everyone's record is 0-0. Hopefully come December/January Josh and this defense are playing their best football. Anything can happen at that point.
  14. I'm still watching too. Break out the straitjacket
  15. If Miami wins this game to get off the shnide what will they be saying about Pittsburgh and Tomlin now? Insult to injury is Miami owns their 1st Round pick this year for Minkah. They absolutely hosed the Steelers and are now taking them to the woodshed.
  16. I believe you are correct in your assessment my friend. One can only hope the leash is short after the s*** playcalling we have seen for about half of each game this year.
  17. Allen cuts down on the INT's and now it's the fumbles. It's not the playcalling, it's the people running the plays despite the fact that Stevie Wonder can see Daboll doesn't understand situational football and is calling the same dumb week in and week out.
  18. The Ravens have a rushing attack with Ingram, Edwards, and Hill that will pose a problem if Frazier/McDermott don't have these guys playing solid gap integrity by then.
  19. Meh, I don't think I give up a 1st or a 2nd for Williams. A 3rd, maybe. I'd rather have a pass rusher that gets Murphy off of the field.
  20. I'd take Allen Robinson in a heartbeat.
  21. He took that shot on the final play yesterday and got absolutely lit up from behind. He didn't even see it coming.
  22. I'm not gonna vote because those won't be the types of stats he is consistently putting up by year 4. Guess who's stats these are below after 16 games. Note the 2nd QB on the list, that was after his 3rd year of starting. QB #3 was his 2nd full year as a starter. 16 16 326 575 56.7 3,739 6.5 26 28 22 109 71.2 15 62 4.1 0 3 1 15 15 280 469 59.7 3,513 7.5 18 23 46 280 75.4 32 98 3.1 2 5 2 16 522 318 60.9 32.6 3,303 6.3 206.4 19 3.6 24 4.6 66T 37 5 30 199 72.2 I'm sure I could continue on, but the people who love to find reasons to hate Josh Allen despite the improvement he is showing on the field will continue to hate Josh Allen despite the improvement he is showing on the field.
  23. Josh's legs are a better weapon when the play breaks down and he takes off on his own. The designed runs for a QB that has already had one concussion this year are stupid. You can't help for his football instincts taking over and him trying to make something out of nothing, but Daboll has got to stop with this dumb he does on a weekly basis.
