Jalen Ramsey trash talking a lot of QB's

Who cares how they think. It's how they play that matters. What's funny are the responses by 'smart people' in this thread... -
Hard Knocks 2018: The Cleveland Browns
Lurker replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Have to learn the playbook. Wasn't he taking second team reps on Sunday?... Per Fairburn at The Athletic: Corey Coleman’s role expanding A week into his tenure with the Bills, Corey Coleman is starting to see more meaningful snaps in practice. He spent time with the second-team offense during practice and had walk-through reps with the first team. McDermott said he would be watching Coleman closely in the coming days as he continues to increase his rep count. Coleman also got some reps as a kick returner during special-teams drills. It appears he’s on track to play against his former team Friday. -
Why were those people shooting video of the highway prior to the plane landing perfectly in front of them? Seems fishy to me...

They know what O'Leary gives them. They don't know what the other TE's have to offer. I think he still #2 on the depth chart and this is just a way to identify the #3 guy by giving him reps with better players. That said, if Nick doesn't make the team, we'll still see him twice a year when we play the Pats...

Cleveland Plain Dealer Beat Writer Comments on Corey Coleman Today
Lurker replied to Irv's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Browns drafted him knowing he had very limited knowledge of route running from the Baylor progam. Then they seemed to say, "hey this is the NFL, we don't have to teach that skill here." And they wonder why they've been 1-31? That's on Jackson, IMO, And how he still has a job is a mystery to me. If a player "doesn't apply himself" its up to the coaching staff to make sure he does. Its called accountability. Unfortunately for Browns fans, I don't think anyone in the organization (including Dorsey) knows what that means... -

Pretty big indictment of the Brownies coaching staff that they didn't seem to do any player development with Coleman either. Doesn't seem very process-oriented, actually... -
Who Remembers the Giant Whale Car Wash?
Lurker replied to Fadingpain's topic in Off the Wall Archives
We used to go to the one on Military Road in the Town of Niagara. IIRC, it was a crappy wash but a lot of fun for us kids.... -
LOL. Sounds like the last time I saw Lynyrd Skynyrd. Johnny Van Zant was doing this crazy "Skynyrd's in the House!" patter between every song and waving the flag and going all patriotic hoo ha. I mean, once or twice... I get it. But every song? Good thing they're retiring. Ronnie must be turning over in his grave... Nope. Rhonda Smith is playing bass on this tour. She's great too. Her base notes were litterally bouncing off my chest all night and her solo was brilliant...

And dinosaurs rulled the world once. Completing 50% in those days was the gold standard, typically on 20 or so attempts per game...

Lets give some credit to THE O LINE

I would go as far as saying anyone who played in the first half did a great job relative to 'exhibition game 1' standards. That's on the coaching staff and was quite impressive vesus Bills history... -
True or Apocryphal: Buffalo City Hall Suicide Incident
Lurker replied to Fadingpain's topic in Off the Wall
They still have the mechanicals for loading ice blocks in through openings in the ground floor walls to provide "air conditioning" for the building It's wild to think of that being high tech back in the day... -

That would make Shady look guilty of something. He'd have to have an iron-clad NDA with her, as she'd be all over social media saying "Look! He paid me off!"

Good Night / Bad Night - Pre-season Game 1
Lurker replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I suspect that wasn't even a base defense they were running last night, which may account for people being out of position and missing assignments. They played catch rather than attack, and you're right, too many missed tackles was a problem. But I know they won't come out againt the Ravens like that and just hope the starting 11 can stay healthy for another month... -
LOL. Andy Reid says hi... (maybe he should clap more)

Good Night / Bad Night - Pre-season Game 1
Lurker replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Relax. The D didn't blitz at all last night and a number of starters on the D-line didn't play. McD runs a pressure defense and last night was the plainest of vanilla... -

On his 9 completions, the ball was in the air for an average of less than seven yards. The rest was RATC. Very Chad Pennington-like, which makes for a great back up but ugly starter...

The question about Nate is arm strength and velocity. Very few examples of that last night. The throw to Streeter and the sideline throw to Benjamin are really all I can think of. And then he has to wind up like Fitzpatrick used to and really try to muscle the ball. Frankly, that's just not going to get him through many games when the D is game-planning to take away his short options...
