  1. Yankees Sabres Knicks U of Florida football Syracuse BBall Knicks actually suck worse than the Bills! Yeah!
  2. Totally agree with you. CB are not as easy to find as RB. Good coverage improves the pressure on the QB as well. Wouldn't say Crom is a lock down CB by any means, but it's good to have depth there.
  3. Totally agree! http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=4920302
  4. Not the point (IMHO) - they WILL make the playoffs, in due time. If the Bills get a player with his talent - no matter what position, the Bills will be on their way to the playoffs. The Bills have way too many holes. No one player will right this ship. Draft the best available player.
  5. All these draft experts are jokes, and if any of our talent evaluators are reading any of their draft books, then the Bills are in deep doo doo. But this guys article is right on. I've always thought that you draft the best available player. Especially at this point in the Bills ever-rebuilding stage. Need picks are a luxury that elite teams have earned when good talent is distributed throughout the team. But the Bills are no where's near there. A draft of a QB due to need (especially one in this weak QB draft) would be a huge mistake.
  6. I agree. The line sucked this year. Thus his mediocre and banged up year.
  7. I actually liked TE in the beginning. I may be wrong, but he's always been mr checkdown, even before his concussion. That is a problem considering we have an all star in Lee Evans.
  8. Some actually believe he will not be drafted at all
  9. Be careful, the Bills are the masters at pulling us fans in, and then dropping us when it really matters. My hope and faith in this team has taken a beating of the last 1 1/2 decades.
  10. I think this proves that it's not only the qb but also the supporting cast. Big Ben is great because of the system and surrounding teammates. Take away a good line and RB and he's mediocre (see this past year). He also has an incredible will to win. That cannot be taught. It's natural and inherent. Daunte Culpepper became nothing after Moss left. Chad is definitely a system QB. So if Chan Gailey is as good as he thinks, he'll be able to develop a system that will work for whichever QB the Bills have. The stats already posted about 1st RD qb's being starters is enough to scare me away from all the ?? that this years group have. The Bills need a sure fire starter this year at #1. Not another PROJECT!
  11. In the right system Edwards could be the answer. That is a system with max QB protection - 4 TEs and 2 RB to check down on - and a #1 Defense in the league. Then I think it could actually work!
  12. Keep Scott and Incognito. Scott has already shown to be an important piece of the Bills. Incognito, like his nastiness. That's what we need.
  13. I think Chan will be a very mediocre coach. But for what we've had here, I guess that's good enough in the eyes of the Bills front office. If we were to go with Chan, I would have rather them give Fewell a true chance and surround him with good coaches. But that's a moot point now. I like what they've done by upgrading the talent evaluators, but time will tell. Unfortunately year after year, for the last 15 years, it's been the same, mediocre 'SSDD'. I hope it's better. As far as QB is concerned, who knows.... Not much out there. But if Chan is as good a coach as the Bills believe, then he has a QB out there that he can use for the time being. If Jimbo likes Tebow, then we should give him a try. Apparently NFLDraftscout.com has some very good things to say about him... "Arm Strength: Prototypical arm strength. Can make every NFL throw. Can zip short and intermediate passes and flashes touch and trajectory on deeper throws. Only occasionally asked to throw true deep balls in this offense, but has the arm strength to do so." - never thought of him as having good arm strength... "Characterized by some as Bronko Nagurski under center." - This is why I would give him a chance. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players/1114680
  14. No way for McNabb. He has been breaking down in second half of the season. His mind is elsewhere. I think a 3rd or higher is reasonable. But no way a 1st.
  15. Whatever happened to Josh McCown? Didn't he have a super powerful arm?
  16. No doubt. But Coach Payton is really the MVP. What a ballsy game he called.
  17. only if we can get a chump like San Diego to trade away their all-star/all-pro QB
