  1. How are the sizes? How big are the larges?
  2. I agree here. Fitz can sometimes get it downfield, but he was not spectacular in any part either.
  3. Yeah "Franchise QB" so the Bills would have creamed if they would have taken Tebow anywhere in the 1st Round (just like Denver is). Clausen wasn't picked until pick #48. and McCoy until #85. So where was the Franchise QB again?
  4. No that was John Ronald Brown. Levi Brown was the singer who married Whitney Houston.
  5. OK, I thought the Wang thread was funny, but this one is the best! I remember watching Troy vs. Central Michigan (just to watch Lefevour) and thinking, "who is that guy on Troy?" because he was tons better than Lefevour in terms of accuracy, moxie, and arm strength. He was a stud during that game, and the reason why Troy was even in that bowl.
  6. It's amazing how bad the Bills are. 28th in offense and 30th in run defense. We have a few long years ahead of us.
  7. The Bills strategy is to watch New England's waiver wire and pick up the draft picks that don't make their team. Pretty ingenious.
  8. Awesome, he is not a stiff, white guy, with a good motor!
  9. Amazing how the "experts" were so wrong about this draft. I don't remember seeing anything like this. Everyone thought Cody, Brown, Clausen, McCoy all first rounders. So many have fallen so far. I just hope the Bills are dead on - on all their picks.
  10. Now that we have Spiller, check downs will be more entertaining at least.
  11. An article on CBS Sporstline: "Colt McCoy will be drafted ahead of Jimmy Clausen too. I've spoken to a variety of league sources on Clausen and the consensus on his fall is that his personality had something to do with it, but more than anything else was the belief that he's been groomed for so long that he offers very little upside. Essentially, he's as good right now as he's ever going to be. The same can not be said for Tim Tebow and, some believe for Colt McCoy. McCoy's intangibles are so good, in fact, that some believe the Bills and Browns will enter a bidding war for the services of the former Longhorn quarterback. Rather than wait for him with their respective second round picks, one of these two clubs might trade with St. Louis for 33rd overall."
  12. CBS Sports says: Pass rush: Bull rusher who often pushes his man (or a double-team when fresh) to collapse the pocket using leverage. Able to rip off blocks, punch and swim over the top, or even get under the arm of guards to pressure the quarterback if he hangs onto the ball too long. Limited burst; will provide some heat but not many sacks. Sits on many obvious passing situations. Run defense: Stands his ground against single and double blocks using his girth and strength, although he lacks the quickness to split the double. Can be violent with hands to free himself. Able to sift through trash inside to get to ballcarrier. Moves laterally while engaged to stay in the play. Needs improvement avoiding and recovering from cut blocks. Explosion: Quick and powerful off the snap, penetrating easily against man-up blocks. Good balance after initial contact, keeping pads low and moving forward. Loses steam coming off the ball throughout the game. Strength: Very strong player; prime nose tackle candidate. Uses a low center of gravity and thick upper body to gain leverage. Able to stack his man and disengage to chase the quarterback or wrap up ballcarriers. Tackling: Has length and upper-body strength to bring down most any player in his immediate area. Willing to chase down players but lacks burst to track them down from behind without help or consistently make tackles outside the box. Doesn't change directions easily, and can be eluded in space. Must keep his feet moving instead of relying on his strength to make arm tackles. Intangibles: Hard-working, unselfish leader with a quiet sensibility. Consistently gives good effort inside whether rushing the passer or stopping the run. No major character issues. Worked off 30 pound of weight during his career to gain stamina, although he still carries extra around his midsection.
  13. How did you know, before ESPN broadcasted?
  14. Folks believe he won't get past Kansas City and Coach Weis. If he doesn't get drafted there, he may really fall again.
  15. Figured out why Sergio Kindle is dropping so far (sorry I'm slow). He has a questionably knee that might require surgery. He's also been arrested for DWI in 2007. http://news.puggal.com/sergio-kindle-injury-32815/
  16. That's a real bummer. The top leftover CB just got drafted!
  17. Tell me, PLEASE Tell ME! How can the Bills get a franchise QB? Right now? Because if you have a plan that seriously works, then the every team in the NFL have to give you a call. It's such a weak argument. Because there is no way of getting a franchise QB with what we have. Oh, and if you think Claussen is a franchise QB, then why, oh why, is he still on the board?
