  1. 1: Clausen 2: Roger Saffold, Indiana, OT 3. Dexter McCluster, Scatback
  2. Very cool read. Makes me think, if Clausen is no there, the best thing to do is try to trade down and pick up some picks. Maybe get a DT in the first, and then OT (Saffold or the kid from USC) in the second. Or Tebow with #41 and an OT with the next?
  3. That would be sweet! With the extra 2nd rounder, how about Tebow?
  4. McNabb would never have won a big game. Without a chance to win much games here, his head would have been anywhere but Buffalo. He's had too much MSG from that Chunky soup. It's better he's not here. We'd be picking #9-15 again next year.
  5. Why is Washington out of the QB hunt? McNabb is only good for a few years, if he re-ups his contract this year. It would give Clausen a year to season. Shanahan likes gunslingers with an arm. Clausen seems to be like that. I wouldn't be so sure that they wouldn't take him. It really depends what these guys really think of Clausen. Everything is probably a smokescreen...
  6. I know his injury was a fluke, but it didn't take very much at all. It looked like such an innocent tap, and he's out the game? That worries me. Getting a stinger makes it much easier to get another..and another...and another...
  7. “I like the way he carried himself in the meetings,” said Trent Edwards. “Just getting the chance to sit down with him I feel like he’s a confident coach. He’s an offensive tough-minded coach who wants to run the football and throw the football and run a balanced attack.” DDUUUHHHH!!!! Isn't that what offenses do? Run the football and throw the football? God help us!
  8. Pretty simple, the Pats have a jerk that knows what he's doing. And we don't. They know how to win championships, and we don't. Maybe one day, we'll be in that enviable position
  9. No to McNabb. We're a medical office, and just had a meeting with their head trainer. Rick Burkholder, and he said that they would know in the beginning of the week if McNabb was going to have a good game or not. He said with McNabb it was all mental. Things would get to him so easily that it would throw off his whole week and then the game. He is not a big game QB at all.
  10. Concussions=trouble. Even Kelso's helmet could not protect a RB for further Concussions.
  11. Look what Chris Johnson did for the Titans. A flawed team with a so-so QB - went 8-2 after their break. What a monster! If we could get even a fraction of Chris Johnson in Spiller....
  12. Exactly. He was only good when Randy Moss would go and get his long throws. He's done.
  13. Oh yeah, pick a WR so he can pick his nose, dance around, act like a WR while Trent Edwards throws it to TE after TE after RB after RB and the occasional OG screen.
  14. You almost had me, but "top coaches" is way over the top!
  15. Pittsburgh, so they can pick CJ Spiller. But that would mean no stud OT's this year.
  16. Pick him! If he's good, everyone who said to pick him can say "see i told you". If he sucks, no biggie. We're used to it.
  17. If we were any better, then I would be mad. But let's face it, we suck right now. It's going to turn around - it has too. But to blow wads of money on this free agent class would have been a waste.
  18. What's the REAL reason that Turk was fired? That is the question that needs to be answered. Who was it too complicated for? The QB? The RB? I think that was just a hogwash excuse. The whole offense was offensive. How could you possibly have an NFL team with a new offense installed in the first week of the season. Give me a break! Then to dump your starting OT at the beginning of the season. The whole team is a laughing stock - and it starts all the way at the top! Russ Brandon as GM? Are you kidding me? Because of those cheap moves, we will be paying for it for the next five years. As much as I don't like Chan Gailey, at least give this team some stability and a plan to get better. Don't fire him in a year or two. Hopefully this GM is the real deal. <--How many times do we do this per season?
  19. Eagles fans are duped as he was named to the "Shmoe" Bowl, but radio guys know what a joke and turnstyle this guy is.
  20. "Rolando McClain, not worthy of a top 10 pick" Agreed. Who was the last LB who changed the game as a rookie?
  21. That's a great point! He's also not an unproven talent like Aaron Maybin. Both horrible picks by the Bills. By the way, his 40 time was 4.27 at the combine. He's been clocked at 4.24 elsewhere. Also his 20 yard burst was 2.41 which tied the record that was set by Chris Johnson last year. His hands can change a game too. Like a Reggie Bush with actual NFL size.
  22. He's physically messed up. His legs are screwed.
  23. He could be this years Thurman Thomas. Bills pick at #39....
