Was Vince Young that bad?
apuszczalowski replied to Livinginthepast's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If VY is as good as people here are making him out to be, then teams (even the ones you mentioned) would be looking into him and bringing him in for a work out. Has anyone even spoke to him about a workout since he was cut by the Bills? Its not like his asking price is that high right now for a one year deal As for the offence/defence debate, How many drives on offence went more then 3 and out or were more then a few plays long since about midway through the 3rd quarter of the Pats game to the end of the 49ers game? The offence did nothing in the 5+ chances they had between the times that the Pats scored 6 straight TDs against the defence, and they managed to put up a whole 3 points during the 49ers games. Think about it this way, if the offence was able to play like it did in the first half of the Pats game, they atleast score 1-2 more TDs in the 3rd and 4th quarter of that game, it would have given the Pats less time on offence to score 6 TDs in a row and the game is much closer......... -
6 Worst Teams In The League
apuszczalowski replied to BuffaloBaumer's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Thats true when the offence comes out and scores consitently or does more then going 3 and out everytime they get the football.from the middle of the 3rd quarter in the Pats game, to the end of the 49ers game, how many times did the offence actually sustain a long drive? And thats why you post your trade ideas on message boards and play Fantasy Football while the real profesionals work in actual NFL teams front offices making deals. Just because someone thinks that those QBs aren't any better, it doesn't mean they think Fitz is great or they would want to keep him. Romo is almost out of a job in Dallas and is probably one of the most overrated QBs in the league Cutler between tantrums on the sidelines and turning the ball over isn't doing anything to help the Bears win, they are winning cause the defence is scoring for him Stafford, when healthy has been hot and cold and Vick shows signs of being good, but then shows signs of being an issue/liability. I don't think Fitz is a starting QB in this league, but it doesn't mean I would rather have the other garbage out there over him. -
Buddy Nix is the problem
apuszczalowski replied to NastyNateSoldiers's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Because Fitz earned the chance to show the team which QB from 2011 he truly is, and there were plenty of other holes on this roster they needed to work on trying to fill before QB. -
Exactly, its not like he is keeping a starting caliber player off the roster. I never get why people are so quickly to complain about keeping a depth/specialty player on the roster unless theres someone available right now that can do that job better then somoene else or theres a situation where the team needs that spot to fill a starting job. I would question why Ruvell is on the roster more then a KOS

But everyone here believed Whitner couldn't play Safety either..................

Buddy Nix is the problem
apuszczalowski replied to NastyNateSoldiers's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Nix isn't the problem Even picking Gailey wasn't a mistake, he came highly recommended by the guy everyone wanted to be the HC here. Cower turned the Bills down cause he doesn't want to get back into coaching, but he gave them the recommendation for Chan because that would have been teh guy he would have brought in as his O Co-ordinator Things haven't worked out well though, and its not easy to rebuild in the NFL or any sports league. Fans expect results right away and have no patience. The issue know is that things are starting to spiral out of control and the wheels are coming off. They have the talent, and they have experienced coaches on this staff that should be able to right the ship. The test of a good coach though is coming and will be if they current guys can get this fixed soon or weither it completly falls apart where jobs will be lost. Nix will get another year or 2, unless he decides at the end of this year that he has had enough (which could happen with the stress so far of this season). Gailey on the other hand will most likely be given the rest of this season to prove he can right the ship, or else he will be replaced at the end of the year (I don't see them letting him go before the end of this year though, theres just no one on staff that is much of an improvement over him, and they can't raid another teams staff during the season for a new HC) Exactly, his start of the season last year earned him the chance to show the end of the year was the fluke, unfortunatly so far he is proving that his true abilities is right in between -
Who will be HC next year?
apuszczalowski replied to Dragonborn10's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Way to over exagerate just a touch........But your right, he is better off waiting for a SB winning team to need a replacement HC to get his chance People do realise that HC jobs very rarley open up on good teams, usually they open up because the team is bad and fired their coach, right? As for Singletary, you need balance between being able to coach and work with players, and to command respect, Singletary does not appear to have that balance...... -
Quote by Dareus says it all
apuszczalowski replied to Hazed and Amuzed's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Just remember that comment when your looking for your next contract Dareus................. Yes its just a game, and in life, this career that you are being paid millions to do is at the same level of importance to the grand scheme of life as a Walmart Greeter (well, maybe just below Walmart greeter, tehy will get you a shopping cart or let you know where stuff is) -
Trade for Jason Campbell
apuszczalowski replied to DallasBillsFan1's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't know, but I would check with the OP about that, he has what appears to be a wedding type photo of Campbell and his wife, I'm sure he may actually have his number (if he isn't Campbell himself). But Campbell can't call the Bills eprsonally, that could be viewed as tampering since he is under contract to another team. Also, he may eventually get his chance to start for the Bears if Cutler continues with his attitude. Its not like they are winning games because of Cutler and the offence, I think the defence is scoring most of their points for them. -
Maybe the Bills should take notes...

Isn't that Wilforks wife? She looked a little lighter skinned sitting at the Ralph though............... -
Was Vince Young that bad?
apuszczalowski replied to Livinginthepast's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Theres a huge difference between learning it/knowing it and being able to execute it successfully.I'm Sure Fitz knows Chans master book of plays better then anyone, and would probably be able to master the most complecated playbooks in no time I highly doubt he could execute those plays effectively enough to be anything more then a stop gap/mediocre starting QB or a backup........... And to answer the original question, he wasn't horrible, but he really didn't offer much more then Thigpen outside of "potential" which was beaten out by experience that Thigpen has in the system -
Mario was the guy people were ready to give up a testical for in the offseason and didn't think the Bills would have a chance at getting because Ralph would never pay for him And "The 'Stache" was the guy the fans were begging the Bills to put in charge of the defence because he was such an upgrade over George Edwards.........

Buddy Nix is the problem
apuszczalowski replied to NastyNateSoldiers's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That has already started, they made the move for Tavaris Jackson If TJ was brought in here to be anything else but the potential replacement #1 QB, he would have been dropped by now for not being able to play yet Why else would you make the move to trade for him, and then take up a roster spot for him all season saying he will probably stay as the #3 all year if you brought him in to upgrade the #2 spot this year? If Fitz keeps crapping the bed, TJ may get a chance real soon (like after the Bye Week) with a simpilar offence -
Trade for Jason Campbell
apuszczalowski replied to DallasBillsFan1's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Bills already made a move for a Qb this offseason (2 moves if you consider the failed "Vince Young Experiment") Tavaris Jackson is the replacement option for Fitz, if they don't feel they can get him ready to run the offence this season, they won't be making another move to bring in someone else. -
Astros are switching over to the AL and joinging the West, so they get 18 games against them As for the Extra Wild Card, its the reason why so many teams were still in the race this late, and why it was so close this year. Personally, I like the one game showdown to determin the wildcard team, division winners are automatically in, the wildcard is decided by the one game playoff. Maybe if you moved it to a best of 3 series, played at the home field of the higher ranked team so its similar to playing an extra series might be better (having it played in one location would allow them to keep it shortened to a weekend and eliminate travel days that would be a headache if it was between Oakland and Boston for example)?

This is all I have heard and seen while watching the last 3 jays games this yearThey cut away and go split screen for each of his at bats this week..........
-
But what really goes into a kill room for him? He just needs a table and a bunch of plastic. The room had a sign on it saying its only open certain times during the day
-
Are you talking about the theme at the begining where he is getting ready and making breakfast? I think its supposed to make your mind wander and think he is cutting up a bodyOtherwise, I don't think I have ever seen a part where it appears he is a cannibal As for Last season, it wasn't the best (in my opinion the best was the season with John Lithgow playing the Trinity killer), but it wasn't worth skipping. It was actually very good, and the religious aspects of it I think made it good with Dexter questioning religious beliefs. Also plenty of whack jobs do what they do based off of their religious beliefs) I also like the idea that now Debra knows whats going on with him, its much better then her just believing that catching Dexter in the church killing Tom Hanks son was a one off thing. And from the previews I have read for the next 2 weeks shows, it wasn't a dream......

Farmer completely eaten by his hogs
apuszczalowski replied to \GoBillsInDallas/'s topic in Off the Wall Archives
Out in British Columbia there was a pig farmer who was killing woman (mostly hookers I believe) and he would feed the bodies to the pigs, guess they will eat almost anything Is it true that Chickens can be just as bad? I thought I had heard somewhere that it can be dangerous if you get hurt in a chicken coup.... -
Female masturbation bar opens in Tokyo
apuszczalowski replied to \GoBillsInDallas/'s topic in Off the Wall Archives
So, from what I understand from this article, Its a place where woman can go and feel comfortable to talk about it with other woman............. -
Exactly my point To go out and say basically say the Dolphins and Browns were better cause they spent a first round pick on a QB doesn't prove anything. The bills have done the same thing they did in previous seasons and it hasn't worked out. They have invested alot of resources/picks in finding a new QB, trading 1sts for Johnson and Bledsoe, Trading back into the first for Losman, Drafting Edwards, etc. The problem isn't that the Bills haven't tried to get a "franchise QB", its that so far it hasn't worked out, and its yet to work out for the Dolphins and Browns too
-
Its not as easy as you make it out to be, and its not liek the bills are the only ones striking out on QBs The Dolphins are still looking for Marinos replacement The Broncos have been looking for a consistent replacement for Elway for a while The 49ers haven't had a decent starting QB since Young The Browns? The Raiders? The Chiefs? The Redskins?

Mario Williams - Mr. Invisible - Explain it
apuszczalowski replied to Livinginthepast's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Theres a reason why the Texans let him walk in FA.......................... He is a big name mostly for being a #1 overall pick (over Reggie Bush) and being one of the biggest names on a bad team for a while in Houston Hearing him talk after games and during the week this year, its aggrevating cause it just doesn't sound like he is disapointed or cares about losing, he just accepts it and has an excuse Personally, after the pats game, If I was Chan, he would be riding the bench for most of the 49ers game to send a message that he wanted to be paid as one fo the best, he better start playing like it. Hopefully it embarrasses him a bit and motivates him to get better -
Lol Remember when everyone was blaming George Edwards for being the reason why the defence sucked (and the co-ordinator before him, and the one before him, and the one before him, etc) and Were BEGGING the Bills to let "The 'Stache" take over because it was the co-ordinators fault the defence sucks. Well, the honeymoons over I guess and it took 4 games to break out the torches to run "The 'Stache" out of town...............
