Good for them, they got a whole new coaching staff and had a ton of cap room to make a lot of moves this off-season to go with some really good players already in key positions. Many here would have take woods back, but just not at the salary he was looking and going to get. They had the space to pay big for him this year. They had a lot of pieces in place already and brought in one of the best DCs in the league. They got rid of their real problem holding them back in an out of date over rated HC in Fisher. Bit they aren't perfect , they did waste and early pick on a RB which we all know are a dime a dozen......

Actually, if they resign Matthews and he can stay healthy, a wr group of him, Benjamin, Jones, and some of the rest of the guys they have is not that bad a group. Bringing in someone like Cousins at QB allows them to not have to package half their draft to get someone who might amount to nothing and have to start right away. They can then use all their picks to upgrade a lot of other spots that need upgrading

Ours is celebrated the day after Christmas, but it's not as bad, just busy. But that's how they are able to obtain the things they are truly thankful for (but say family cause it sounds better...) like cheap electronics and other commercial goods!

He is not going to be making $20 mil on a long term deal on the open market, he has barely seen the field since being drafted. At least Osweiler started a bunch of games and helps a team into the playoffs where they went on to win a Superbowl.

Can't see Dennison lasting after this season. Not after how bad the offence has been someone has to take the fall and it's usually the co-ordinator. If he was pushing for a change at QB, which makes sense after some of his public comments about Taylor after the Saints game, he must be feeling some heat and scrambling to save his job.

They still took 2 QBs by the end of day 2 in the same draft. The Patriots continue to pick QBs early in the draft even with Brady. QBs are valuable trade chips, especially if they are young and unproven. The 49ers most likely won't pick one at the top of the draft, but that's not a sure thing, they may value the idea of having 2 guys who could battle for the spot in camp. It's not like they are going to be paying Garapollo 20+ mil a year to see what they have in him.

Exactly, you sign cousins who is a top level QB in the league (although not elite, he is in the top tier) and then use the draft to fill out the rest of the holes. Problem is everyone is stuck on this idea that you have to draft in the top few spots to get an elite guy. Unfortunately there are very few actually elite guys that are ever available, and your more likely to get a bust or at best a guy who could be a top tier guy around Cousins level picking a QB in the 1st. We have guys here already using Watson as an example of a player able to elevate an entire team and he hasn't even played a full season yet. Maybe he looked that way because the previous guys were garbage?

This game has Bills upset written all over it. Chiefs are struggling after a hot start and Bills are struggling also. This is one of the games where no one gives the Bills a chance to win and then they squeak out a close one in a bad game where a single break could go either way. I would not put money on this game

I don't know, I don't think the amount matters as much to him, I think he wants year on the deal for job security. He's been happy to play for the tag the last few years cause he believed it would lead to long term deals, since it hasn't it's either he get one from the skins or he gets one elsewhere. I wouldn't be surprised to see him sign for 25 mil or less a year if it gets him a 5+ year deal somewhere. I would definitely take him here even at that amount. He is a proven top end starter and although maybe not elite, he is still a guy you can win with. If they could sign him and get another in the draft with a late 1st or 2nd, they could use the rest of their picks to fill the other holes

The redskins took RGIII and Cousins, the Pats have Brady and continue to add was early to sit behind him. It never hurts to have too many QBs. They can sign Garrapolo to a decent deal right now because of the lack of experience as a starter and still have another in case he doesn't work out. If he works out you now have another QB that a can be dealt later. If you don't pick another just because you don't know what you have in Garapollo, you risk setting yourself back even further and wind up similar to what we have here where tour scrambling for stop gaps and waiting til next year's draft

Have you looked at the records of the teams they have beaten? When the Bills beat those teams it's brushed off as those teams being bad, but if someone else beats them they are all of the sudden tough opponents. The Giants have won 2 games, the cowboys have barely scored double digit points the last few weeks, Bills also beat denver and oakland. They were gifted 5 ints and a 30 point lead in the first half against a bills team that beat themselves

How can you be sure they would be 6-4 with Lynn? Just because he may have kept Dareus and Watkins? This team hasn't lost a game just because they didn't have a DT or WR. Who says the offence doesn't regress this year with Lynn after the league is able to see more tape on him and his offence? Is the defence improved in the first 5 weeks with Lynn and whomever he could get at DC?
