I just hope our new stadium isn't like Jerry world in Arlington tx. That place is dead and you are far removed from the action. People only come to watch the huge screen. The acoustics are horrible and you feel like you are 10 miles away from the field at every level. If we build a new stadium it needs to be done well. I think it will be at niagara falls
I know I'm impatient but I'm ready for the finale to this story. I don't want this to drag out. I hope we get some answers quick so that we can begin the five stages of grief or go back to life as normal.
Kirby - unfortunately, there are deep pockets around this globe that will fork over $400 and $900 to buy an NFL team. Remember what our commish keeps wanting: Toronto, LA, and London.
Wild Thing - you are on target. It is the elephant in the room but Whaley has already said they aren't bringing anyone in. Survey says - no playoffs again this year. Sorry folks.
Of course we should make a run at Vick. We have EJ Manuel who can't stay healthy and Lewis as a backup. You can't win in this league without a proven QB. Vick may also be injury prone but I feel EJ would learn a lot under him. Sign him.
We need all the pr we can get- this hof game is great news. In fact, I think we need to draft Michael Sam in the later rounds- we need to be in the news. I still wish we had been the focus of the draft day movie.
Sherman came out and said other NFL players helped him decipher Manning's hand signals. Why would they help another team? Jealousy of Manning or hatred of Elway?
Someone asked the question today: could the hawks have spied on the Broncos? They compared it to St. Louis vs. New England Super Bowl. The caller's point was that it appeared the Hawks knew exactly what the Broncos were going to do.
God bless the broncos for taking some heat off of us and the Vikings. It was great to see elway's face when they showed him in the suite. I still hate elway.
The Super Bowl 21 logo was great in Pasadena. I also loved our Super Bowl logos from Super Bowl 25-27. I was never find of the 28 logo. Dang I wish we would have won some of those
The current ESPN magazine has a great write up about James Harris, our former qb. It's a great article about the struggles of an African American qb back in the early 70's. Anyone here remember your impressions of his playing days?
I didn't know he was the first African American player to start a season at qb in the history of pro football.
