  1. Keys to success: Pick up Aaron Brooks as our QB (running QB who can groom Losman). Cut Kelly Holcomb and make JP Losman the backup QB. Draft Marcus Vick in 3rd - 5th round. Groom him if JP doesn't work out. Vick is a running QB as well. Sign McGahee. Go into free agency and buy some O-linemen and D-Linemen. I trust free agency more than the draft. Make Sam Wyche the Offensive Coordinator. Hire Jim Haslett as our Defensive Coordinator.
  2. In the draft this year, I say we pick up Brad Smith from Missouri or Vince Young from Texas (if he enters the draft, which he probably won't this year). In fact, I'd go out and get Daunte Culpepper if we need a proven veteran. He's certainly a better option than Brett Favre. Heck, right now I'd welcome Tory Woodbury back to the Bills. He seemed to have some fire in him. However, in the 1st round, we need to select Rod Wright from The University of Texas. We can pick up Brad Smith in the 2nd or 3rd round.
  3. People that need to be voted off of the island of BUFFALO: Tom Donahoe, Mike Mularkey, Nate Clements, Mike Williams, Kelly Holcomb, Coy Wire, Josh Reed People that can stay on the island for another year: London Fletcher, Willis McGahee (for a lesser price), JP Losman (as a backup), Eric Moulds (for a lesser price), Takeo Spikes, Sam Wyche, McNally, Jerry Gray (for another year) Whom did I leave out?
  4. If he declares for the draft, I say we draft Vince Young and trade away JP Losman for an offensive lineman or two.
  5. Of course the players support Holcomb more than Losman. You want to go with the guy that gives you the best opportunity to WIN. That's the problem with too many coaches, they don't go with the players that give them the best chance of winning ball games each week. Instead, politics resides in management, coaching, etc... It happens in college and it happens in the NFL. Sad, but true. This isn't the first time the Bills have gone with the wrong guy. Anyone remember the Rob Johnson experiment? Flutie gave us the best chance to win; however, management went with the taller and less experienced Rob Johnson.
  6. So who does everyone want in the 2006 draft?
  7. After reading the AP article about Kelly Holcomb, one sentence jumped out to me: "Holcomb said the decision (on who starts Sunday's game with the Jets) rests with Mularkey and team president Tom Donahoe". We need a GM that allows the coaches to make the calls they feel are best for the team. The coaches know who is best suited to play each position week in and week out. I trust them way more than I do a GM sitting in a box. Again, another example of Donahoe not allowing his coaches to coach. Your thoughts????????
  8. Good move going with Holcomb today. I feel we would have lost with Losman at the helm. Bring on the Jets.
