  1. I still remember my first trip to Rich Stadium. It was 1993. I live in Texas and my dad drove our entire family all the way to Orchard Park so I could see where my Bills played. It was in the summer and I remember when we drove up, I was in awe looking at the super bowl logos painted on the outside marquee. Even though we lost those games, I still loved seeing the logos-reminded me of our team's accomplishments. My family went to the front desk and we told the secretary where we had driven from. She called someone from the front office and they escorted my family around the stadium. I was amazed at the generosity of the Bills staff on duty that day. As we left, I told the secretary that we were going back to the Super Bowl again the next year (which we did- SB 28). A few years later, I came back to Ralph Wilson Stadium to see the Bills play- it was a December game against Jacksonville (Steve Tasker's last game). I loved seeing the snow coming down and I loved going to downtown Buffalo. My family and I went around downtown throwing snowballs at each other everywhere we went- the locals knew we were from out of town. The atmosphere of the fans and the town was great. I wish I was able to make it up there more. It got me thinking, when was your first game at the Ralph/Rich Stadium and what was it like? Or the Rockpile, for the old timers?
  2. Any of you buying the merchandise with the Bills/Toronto series on it?
  3. We will go back to Tampa next February and win the game we should have won in SB XXV. This is going to be a special year that will result in a Lombardi trophy residing at One Bills Drive. Buffalo's going to the Super Bowl- I've got a feeling.
  4. Rumors out of Tampa indicate that Simms isn't happy with Gruden, or vice versa. GO BILLS! SIGN SIMMS!
  5. Fast Fred Jackson may be the starter in week one if our worse nightmare comes true and Lynch was the one driving his SUV like he drove golf carts in college. Is it too early to order Fred Jackson jerseys?
  6. Dallas Cowboys New England Patriots Texas A&M University University of Oklahoma LA Lakers
  7. If you're a Trent Edwards supporter, you could go to www.johnedwards.com and purchase a bumper sticker (simply cut off the word "JOHN" have it just say EDWARDS 2008). Sorry, I have no link yet for LOSMAN 2008 gear.
  8. Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie will be our guy at #11 (he looks good). This draft is deep in WR's. There are plenty of receivers that will be left in the 2nd round for us to choose from. Or, we will jump back into the 1st round to take Malcolm Kelly or Limas Sweed. If we got Dominique, that would be a great jersey to get: one that reads "RODGERS-CROMARTIE".
  9. A friend and I are having a discussion on how many picks the Bills have in this year's draft. Would someone please let me know how many we have, and break it down by rounds, to end our discussion. Thanks!
  10. I have this feeling that the Bills game in Toronto (regular season game) will be on Monday Night Football. The NFL will want to showcase this game. I don't think it will be the Thanksgiving night game (too small of a crowd watching on NFL network). What do you think?
  11. JP Losman and Rob Johnson seem to be the same QB. Their careers in Buffalo are eerily similar. Of course, that could be due to the fact that both had mulitple coaching changes during their tenures, bad O-lines, etc... Both seem to hold onto the ball too long, get sacked too much, get replaced by backup QB's , injury prone, etc... And, they were both the QB of the future for the Bills. Anyone feel the same?
  12. Forget Malcolm Kelly. Limas Sweed, out of Texas, is the big physical receiver we need.
  13. I feel the need, the need for SWEED!
  14. Marv Levy is hard to nail down on draft day. I wouldn't be shocked if he went for Ted Ginn Jr with the number #12 pick. I know it's a stretch; however, Whitner was considered a stretch last year. One thing is for sure, Marv makes it entertaining to watch the draft.
  15. The A Train looked good to me last year. He seemed to fit in better with the offense we were running, than compared to Willis. He didn't dance around the backfield, he attacked the hole. I feel he'd be great as our #1 back this year. However, we do need another RB in this year's draft to back him up. What about Ramonce Taylor, former University of Texas RB, in round 6 or 7?
  16. Move up and take Adrian Peterson and sign Brown as a backup or mentor to AP.
  17. I hope we draft Ramonce Taylor, former running back from the UT national championship team from 2005. He's a Reggie Bush type that we need. We can interchange him and Willis. Ramonce should be around in the 4th-6th rounds.
  18. At #12, the Bills need to draft ADRIAN PETERSON. It's a huge upgrade from Willis.
  19. We don't need Takeo's attitude poisoning our locker room. If he's not on board, we should seek a trade with another team. We are young and we have a promising future. Takeo simply wants to win now, due to his age. Therefore, I say TRADE HIM, for his benefit and ours.
  20. For the first time in years, I got angry after the Bills loss to NE this past Sunday. That's a good thing. Here's why: for the past few years I didn't get angry when we lost because I expected it to happen. Based on our performance in the first half on Sunday, I expected to win. That's why I got angry upon the loss (which the refs helped secure). Now, I expect to win each week (just like I used to in the early to mid 90's). What a change that is. This coaching staff has given me hope and I expect us to win this Sunday against the Dolphins. Go BILLS!
  21. NFL Current: Vince Young All Time: Deion Sanders
  22. I have this strange feeling that Nall still might be our starter come week one. I still believe Jauron and Levy brought him in with the intention of him being our starter. As for me, I don't care who starts, just as long as we win. I've had a Losman jersey since he was a rookie; therefore, I hope he does well. I always like to wear the starters.
  23. Just got done playing Buffalo vs. Dallas in Madden 2007. Our offense sucks on this game and our defense is awesome. I guess the creators at EA Sports have us figured out for the 2006 season.
  24. Kelly H. gets the start against Carolina. JP gets the start against the Bengals. Will Craig Nall get the start this week? If not, I don't think this is really a true competition for QB. In fact, I think they ought to start Kingsbury in the 4th preseason game. That way we get to see what each QB can do with the first team offense, then the coaches can make their decision on who they want to go with. The NFL and NCAA college football are pure politics. They say races are wide open and that the best man will win, but usually that's just PR jargon.
