  1. I have this feeling that the Bills game in Toronto (regular season game) will be on Monday Night Football. The NFL will want to showcase this game. I don't think it will be the Thanksgiving night game (too small of a crowd watching on NFL network). What do you think?
  2. JP Losman and Rob Johnson seem to be the same QB. Their careers in Buffalo are eerily similar. Of course, that could be due to the fact that both had mulitple coaching changes during their tenures, bad O-lines, etc... Both seem to hold onto the ball too long, get sacked too much, get replaced by backup QB's , injury prone, etc... And, they were both the QB of the future for the Bills. Anyone feel the same?
  3. Forget Malcolm Kelly. Limas Sweed, out of Texas, is the big physical receiver we need.
  4. I feel the need, the need for SWEED!
  5. Marv Levy is hard to nail down on draft day. I wouldn't be shocked if he went for Ted Ginn Jr with the number #12 pick. I know it's a stretch; however, Whitner was considered a stretch last year. One thing is for sure, Marv makes it entertaining to watch the draft.
  6. The A Train looked good to me last year. He seemed to fit in better with the offense we were running, than compared to Willis. He didn't dance around the backfield, he attacked the hole. I feel he'd be great as our #1 back this year. However, we do need another RB in this year's draft to back him up. What about Ramonce Taylor, former University of Texas RB, in round 6 or 7?
  7. Move up and take Adrian Peterson and sign Brown as a backup or mentor to AP.
  8. I hope we draft Ramonce Taylor, former running back from the UT national championship team from 2005. He's a Reggie Bush type that we need. We can interchange him and Willis. Ramonce should be around in the 4th-6th rounds.
  9. At #12, the Bills need to draft ADRIAN PETERSON. It's a huge upgrade from Willis.
  10. We don't need Takeo's attitude poisoning our locker room. If he's not on board, we should seek a trade with another team. We are young and we have a promising future. Takeo simply wants to win now, due to his age. Therefore, I say TRADE HIM, for his benefit and ours.
  11. For the first time in years, I got angry after the Bills loss to NE this past Sunday. That's a good thing. Here's why: for the past few years I didn't get angry when we lost because I expected it to happen. Based on our performance in the first half on Sunday, I expected to win. That's why I got angry upon the loss (which the refs helped secure). Now, I expect to win each week (just like I used to in the early to mid 90's). What a change that is. This coaching staff has given me hope and I expect us to win this Sunday against the Dolphins. Go BILLS!
  12. NFL Current: Vince Young All Time: Deion Sanders
  13. I have this strange feeling that Nall still might be our starter come week one. I still believe Jauron and Levy brought him in with the intention of him being our starter. As for me, I don't care who starts, just as long as we win. I've had a Losman jersey since he was a rookie; therefore, I hope he does well. I always like to wear the starters.
  14. Just got done playing Buffalo vs. Dallas in Madden 2007. Our offense sucks on this game and our defense is awesome. I guess the creators at EA Sports have us figured out for the 2006 season.
  15. Kelly H. gets the start against Carolina. JP gets the start against the Bengals. Will Craig Nall get the start this week? If not, I don't think this is really a true competition for QB. In fact, I think they ought to start Kingsbury in the 4th preseason game. That way we get to see what each QB can do with the first team offense, then the coaches can make their decision on who they want to go with. The NFL and NCAA college football are pure politics. They say races are wide open and that the best man will win, but usually that's just PR jargon.
  16. If this season is a downer, which I hope it isn't, and we're picking in the top 5 in next year's draft, would you take Quinn or Leak as the QB of the Bills? Honestly, I hope Losman does GREAT this year and this question is a mute one. However, for fun, who would you rather have?
  17. Losman seemed to run the two minute drill real nicely against the Panthers last night. I say we bring back the no huddle attack of the 90's and see what Losman can do with it. What do we have to lose?
  18. It all started for me in 1989 when the Bills lost to the Browns in the playoffs. I live in Texas and it was the first time I had seen the Bills on TV in our area. I remember telling my parents after they lost that this was my team. The next week my parents bought me my first Bills tshirt and the rest they say is history. I have supported them ever since. I remember going to school in 1990 telling everyone that my Bills were going to the Super Bowl. Teachers and classmates thought I was crazy, yet my dream came true. I used to tell my dad that the Bills were going to the Super Bowl every year until they won it. I was almost right. When the Bills didn't go to Super Bowl 29, I was crushed. I'm still waiting, as are all of you, for that special Bills team to come along and win the big one. Personally, I would love to see Marv and Ralph win that Super Bowl ring before they pass away. Hey, the Red Sox did it; therefore, anything is possible.
  19. With Nall's injury, do you think Kingsbury will get a shot to win the starting job now? He's got quite an arm on him and I feel he deserves a shot. I don't have a favorite, I just want to see the best person under center come September. If Nall is seriously hurt, do the Bills go get another QB in the market to compete for the job? If so, who do you think that should be?
  20. I'm looking forward to this season. I know we probably won't be going to the Super Bowl this year, but it will be fun to see this team grow. I will hate it if and when we lose games this season, but I think Marv and Dick are building a team that is going to be fun to watch over the next few years. I guess you could say I'm optimistic.
  21. Overall, I'm pretty happy with our draft. However, I thought we would select a few positions on the offensive side of the board (backup RB, FB, another QB to compete for the job when Holcomb hits the streets looking for work). We needed defensive help; however, we aren't exactly an offensive powerhouse. Someone help me out here, do you think we're going to go into free agency looking to pick up offensive help? If we don't, I guess we're going with the Bears game plan that Jauron implemented in Chicago.
  22. YOU TAKE HIM! I HOPE BY THIS TIME TOMORROW I'M TRYING TO ORDER A BUFFALO BILLS VINCE YOUNG JERSEY FROM BB.COM
  23. Who was the corner we had in the 1980's nicknamed "RADAR"? I don't remember his name and it's been bugging me. Someone help me out here. Thanks.
  24. I have always said, always, that I would never move the team from Buffalo. Now with this new collective bargaining agreement, I’m hopeful that I can steadfastly adhere to what I’ve said, but I’m making no promises,” said Wilson. This "no promises" line makes me wonder what Wilson is up to. Is he telling us that he's going to move the team to LA if he doesn't get what he wants from the league? Or is he just trying to get the sympathy vote from the NFL powers that be? Or, is he ready to sell? Whatever his motivation, his "no promises" makes me uneasy.
