Following Buffalo is like being a Star Wars nerd/fan. We love/hate our creator (Ralph Wilson/George Lucas). He gave us the product we love and he gave us the product we hate at times. Like fans of Star Wars, we buy way too much merchandise even though we probably have enough. Star Wars fans look back fondly on episodes 4-6 like we do with seasons 1990-1993. Marrone having the team practice two days after a preseason game is absurd. Coach grant of the Vikings used to never put much effort into preseason. He saved his guys for the regular season. Marrone's tactics put our players at greater risk for injuries.

NFL coaches should have open competition at every position, QB included. I don't care if you were drafted in the first round. If someone beats you out, that's life. NFL coaches play it safe because they are playing to keep their jobs. That's why many players keep their starting positions around the league. They (coaches) know the backlash of benching a first round QB would be a PR nightmare and possible unemployment.

I really wish Rob Johnson had won that Music City Miracle game. Even though I wanted Flutie to start that game, I still wish Rob had won- his whole career would have been different with that one win.
