Every year... WGR covers both sports well. There are three Sabres games this week, and there was no Bills game. What do you expect? To address a couple of items above: Whether NASCAR, NBA, etc. are more popular than the NHL nationwide doesn't matter. WGR is a local station, and those sports are not more popular than the NHL here. By this logic, WGR should cover more soccer and cricket because of worldwide popularity. Also: Yes, Andrew Peters is tough to listen to. But if you're going to call him stupid, at least remember the difference between a hockey player and a football player. It's Andrew, not Jason.

As I understand it, the team considered Tuel a project for the future, not present, and wanted to protect him, so they didn't send him to the practice squad. I don't necessarily agree with it, but I understand the logic.

I don't understand why Spiller starts and Tuel sits. It makes no sense. Tuel can do everything that Spiller can do, plus he can throw the ball AND make your colors brighter in the laundry.

Whose stat line is this, his first year with the Bills? Record 4-12, att/comp 285/480, 22 TD, 17 INT, 43 sacks, rating 83.3? (Hint, team was 1-3 in first four games, not 2-2). Let's just take it easy; EJ may or may not become what we want and need, but it's way too early to tell. Let's enjoy watching him grow and learn.

Exactly what I came to say. Not just the running game, but fullbacks specifically, will be back. All it will take is one team succeeding with a stud fullback, and the rest of the league will follow.

It is no better and no worse than the official QB rating. The only reason it exists is so ESPN can talk about itself some more.

During his presser, he mentioned that he was concerned about being fined if he removed the sweatsuit. Given that coaches are required to wear team gear on the sidelines, rather than suits--a rule that I always have hated--it may be that he is not permitted to wear a suit during the presser. I don't know; it just may be.
