  1. Earliest memory of the Bills was watching Greg Bell run for over 200 yards against the Cowboys in November 1984. It was the Bills' first win of the season and I remember (as a 5 year old), I felt sorry for they guy because he was such a good player trapped on a bad team.
  2. I've always been proud of the way Bills fans have rallied to support players and other people in need. One of the examples that seems to have gotten overlooked was when fans raised money to help a struggling Darryl Talley in 2014. I'm not sure of the total, but I know it was over $150,000.
  3. After the "Maybin Mayhem" rap, something inside me died. Even a decade later, I'm still traumatized. NFL's 'worst player,' Aaron Maybin, releases awful rap song
  4. Brian Moorman - 8 Jim Kelly - 12 Henry Jones - 20 O.J. - 32 Leonard Smith - 46 Chris Spielman - 54 Kent Hull - 67 Eric Wood - 70 Steve Tasker - 89 Bryce Paup - 95
  5. Chris Spielman. Even though he wasn't here very long I always liked his drive. Bryce Paup is a close second
  6. I never understood why WGR employs him. I have encountered numerous people who stopped listening to their network just because of Schopp. To this day I haven't met anyone who is a fan of his.
  7. Billy Joe "I Was Unprepared to Play" Hobert
  8. That's probably the plan. He wants to install Vontae Davis in a puppet regime and then wield power from behind the scenes.
  9. "We don't care, we don't have to. You'll still be here on Sundays"
  10. Jackin' it, jackin' it, jackin' it, jack Spankin' it, jackin' it, spankin' it, smack
  11. Homer: Bills fans keep coming to games, so Russ Brandon must be doing a great job. Lisa: That’s specious reasoning, Dad. Homer: Thank you, dear. Lisa: By your logic I could claim that this rock keeps tigers away. Homer: Oh, how does it work? Lisa: It doesn’t work. Homer: Uh-huh. Lisa: It’s just a stupid rock. Homer: Uh-huh. Lisa: But I don’t see any tigers around, do you? [Homer thinks of this, then pulls out some money] Homer: Lisa, I want to buy your rock. [Lisa refuses at first, then takes the exchange]
  12. There was a thread started about the tailgate party a while back: http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/186577-best-tailgate-party-ever-bills-at-rams-in-los-angeles/ Here's a link to the page: http://www.losangelesbillsbackers.org/2016-bills-rams-game/coliseum-tailgate-party/ I'm flying in with some friends. We're spending Friday & Saturday in Vegas before arriving in Los Angeles Sunday morning. Gotta admit, I'm a lot more excited for the game than I was after the first two weeks of the season.
  13. As soon as I saw the layout I immediately thought about Andy Kaufman's talk show and his ridiculously high desk.
  14. Pretty sure Kevin Harvick is a Bills fan. I remember he visited training camp in 2007 & I saw a Bills helmet at his house during an interview.
  15. I thought Atrocitus would've been a better fit for the Bills at #19. Red Lanterns fueled by rage would've been more effective than the Sinestro Corps
  16. I was wondering how long it would take for this thread to emerge
  17. The two that come to mind for me are: The Winner - It was a TV show that lasted only 6 episodes. It starred Rob Corddry as a guy in his 30s living with his parents in Buffalo set in 1994. Jim Kelly's appearance on General Hospital playing himself. I remember he got a concussion during a charity basketball game and had to be taken to General Hospital after he thought he was Jim McMahon
  18. Apparently looking at the wins and losses as what they are rather than what they COULD BE is a failure on my part, and I apologize profusely.
  19. You're right, I'm placing too much value on the role wins and losses play in determining a championship team.
  20. Your logic is flawless, I submit to your wisdom. Aside from the fact that the Titans ARE 2-6, the Dolphins ARE 3-5, and the Colts ARE 4-5 because they ARE NOT talented enough teams to have the records you mentioned.
  21. If the purpose of this thread is to indicate that a general Manager's competency can be measured by assembling a team that can only manage to get wins against opponents with a losing record, then I apologize for ever doubting Whaley's abilities.
  22. They're probably thinking about how wrong they were to doubt a GM who assembled a .500 team, that managed to get their wins against teams with records of 2-6 (Titans), 3-5 (Dolphins), and 4-5 (Colts).
  23. The first thing I think of when I hear Frank Gifford is the famous hit he took from Chuck Bednarik back in 1960. Weird they both passed away less than five months apart.
