  1. That's probably the plan. He wants to install Vontae Davis in a puppet regime and then wield power from behind the scenes.
  2. "We don't care, we don't have to. You'll still be here on Sundays"
  3. Jackin' it, jackin' it, jackin' it, jack Spankin' it, jackin' it, spankin' it, smack
  4. Homer: Bills fans keep coming to games, so Russ Brandon must be doing a great job. Lisa: That’s specious reasoning, Dad. Homer: Thank you, dear. Lisa: By your logic I could claim that this rock keeps tigers away. Homer: Oh, how does it work? Lisa: It doesn’t work. Homer: Uh-huh. Lisa: It’s just a stupid rock. Homer: Uh-huh. Lisa: But I don’t see any tigers around, do you? [Homer thinks of this, then pulls out some money] Homer: Lisa, I want to buy your rock. [Lisa refuses at first, then takes the exchange]
  5. There was a thread started about the tailgate party a while back: http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/186577-best-tailgate-party-ever-bills-at-rams-in-los-angeles/ Here's a link to the page: http://www.losangelesbillsbackers.org/2016-bills-rams-game/coliseum-tailgate-party/ I'm flying in with some friends. We're spending Friday & Saturday in Vegas before arriving in Los Angeles Sunday morning. Gotta admit, I'm a lot more excited for the game than I was after the first two weeks of the season.
  6. As soon as I saw the layout I immediately thought about Andy Kaufman's talk show and his ridiculously high desk.
  7. Pretty sure Kevin Harvick is a Bills fan. I remember he visited training camp in 2007 & I saw a Bills helmet at his house during an interview.
  8. I thought Atrocitus would've been a better fit for the Bills at #19. Red Lanterns fueled by rage would've been more effective than the Sinestro Corps
  9. I was wondering how long it would take for this thread to emerge
  10. The two that come to mind for me are: The Winner - It was a TV show that lasted only 6 episodes. It starred Rob Corddry as a guy in his 30s living with his parents in Buffalo set in 1994. Jim Kelly's appearance on General Hospital playing himself. I remember he got a concussion during a charity basketball game and had to be taken to General Hospital after he thought he was Jim McMahon
  11. Apparently looking at the wins and losses as what they are rather than what they COULD BE is a failure on my part, and I apologize profusely.
  12. You're right, I'm placing too much value on the role wins and losses play in determining a championship team.
  13. Your logic is flawless, I submit to your wisdom. Aside from the fact that the Titans ARE 2-6, the Dolphins ARE 3-5, and the Colts ARE 4-5 because they ARE NOT talented enough teams to have the records you mentioned.
  14. If the purpose of this thread is to indicate that a general Manager's competency can be measured by assembling a team that can only manage to get wins against opponents with a losing record, then I apologize for ever doubting Whaley's abilities.
  15. They're probably thinking about how wrong they were to doubt a GM who assembled a .500 team, that managed to get their wins against teams with records of 2-6 (Titans), 3-5 (Dolphins), and 4-5 (Colts).
  16. The first thing I think of when I hear Frank Gifford is the famous hit he took from Chuck Bednarik back in 1960. Weird they both passed away less than five months apart.
  17. I remember going over this in my contract law class, it was Kenford Company v. Erie County. I went to law school in Florida so it was pretty cool seeing a case from back home.
  18. Owning 1% or 5% of a business doesn't give you much of a voice in how things are run. But by Jim Kelly owning 1%-5%, he would likely gain the following two things: It's an investment in a business - Owning a small percentage of a publicly traded company doesn't mean you get to decide the day to day operations of how thing run, but you can reap the profits of the organization's work. Jim Kelly is arguably the most famous Buffalo Bill of all time - Given his status with the franchise, he would likely have more of an influence on the decisions made by those who own a larger share of the organization.
  19. I'm 32, and I have loved the Bills since my first game in 1984 (A year they went 2-14). There was a time when you could make fun of me, my friends and my family and still not arouse the level of wrath and ire that would erupt if you bad mouthed the Bills. But I swore off going to Bills games in 2008 after the Cleveland game on Monday night. What ruined my "Game Day Experience"? It wasn't seeing people drunk or acting obnoxious, it was: -Having to wait a half hour in line to get in (because apparently you can only enter at the gate designated on your ticket despite the fact they all lead to the same stadium). -Having Gate 1 slammed shut on us because the security personnel felt people were getting "too rowdy". I'll spare you the suspense... it didn't calm the crowd down. -Subjective refusals of entry by mean tempered security guards using no objective standard. -Increased pricing for parking -Watching a substandard product on the field -Witnessing the Bills once again tanking another game at the last moment on national television. I decided then and there that I can no longer in good conscious keep supporting an organization of such ill repute that continues to treat its fans with nothing but disgust and contempt. It baffles me that so many of you can continue to blindly support this organization, much the same way it baffles me how a battered woman can continue to support her husband despite the fact he abuses her.
  20. My guess is the more plausible scenario after Ralph dies would be like that of the half-life described in the Philip K. Dick novel UBIK. Where as the corpse is kept alive in a state of suspended animation, and people are allowed to converse with them on limited occasions via a telephone-like device. This is the only viable way I can seem him continually screwing up the draft year after year.
