Since it seems the coach may not be going anywhere now we have to retool the defense to fit the geniuses scheme. Instead of realizing his talent like the evil master does our genius is gonna force a 3-4 down our throats and the players as well. The problem I see is that I see a major problem with current lineup for a 3-4. Kyle is too old and injury prone so unlikely he can be the dominating DE and is not a NT. Darius does not seem to be the NT type and I really am not sure he can be a DE doesn't seem fast enough. ( lots of dollars for a misfit for the coaches scheme ) Harrington is a decent sub at DE Hughes could be a OLB Mario likely gone he is a better 4-3 DE than a 3-4 OLB. Lawson may be a decent OLB but I just never see enough from him. Brown or Bradham might be ok for one ILB but neither is really the ILB types I think ya need for a 3-4 So we would likely need NT, 1-2 DE, 2 ILB and maybe an OLB. Seems like we would need to invest heavily in FA and draft to get what we need just on defense alone.

So if Rex s the guy to,lead us and is sold on a 3-4 than why the heck did Whaley sign Darius to 100M contract. he is anot a NT. We don't have the LBs for a 3-4 and kiko might have been a good fit. I am NT arguing we should have kept kiko over shady since kiko is injured, delclined as first season went on etc. It's not clear that whalye and Rex are anywhere close to the same page.

in my view the czar needs to look at entire organization scouting, equipment issues, strength and conditioning, water boys, towel guys and whatever else one needs to run a successful organization. The QB is either being coached to not make turnovers or just plainly can not see guy s open in center of the field. tHe problem I see is that we don't do earlier crossing routes or short routes under the safeties. Yesterday in first half Sammy and woods on same side a lot and both would run deep routes without any attempts to cross routes just one going very deep and other working into that 20 yard territory. With 5 weeks left in the season and once again down the path of another bad season it is time that the Pegulas hire that czar, football guy or whatever ya want to call him. It's time to start looking at what should be saved and kept and what should be shown the door as soon as possible. The entire organization from top to bottom needs to be looked at. tHese failures like radios not charged, no video for booth guys etc just a few hints of organization dysfunction. By doing this now the person can be evaluating everything and start building a plan for January instead of having to move quickly while other teams start gobbling up good front office and coaching talent.

It would be interesting if someone would look at the spread on games and see if certain crews just happen t work games that miss the spread or make the spread and than look at calls that might have changed the spread
