  1. Does that make the final score a 7 or an 11? btw - according to generlly acepted chat rulez, if you can figger it out, itz speld rite. With the exception of 2 for to. That is going just 2 far.
  2. OK - If you already saw this - my apologies. But here is the linky: http://www.wbir.com/video/player.aspx?aid=...ovider=topVideo This is not just a story about a female teacher and her 14 yr old student. Not just a HOT teacher, but the actual video!! Granted this subject is appealing to the basest and most pruient of intrests and as such, probably noone is interested on this board. Still...... It's good to keep abreast of the latest developments in child rearing. NOTE the video is rated PG for suggestive content only.
  3. I swear to God, after I saw that, I put my potato chip bag away...
  4. uh is this really something you want to discuss in a public forum? Anything that starts with "my sister tutored him" is certainly an eyebrow raiser that would say, "let's not go there" to you that might seem like god given insight. But to the perverted animals that frequent this joint, (hey how are we doing tonight?) it's an invitation to a place you don't want to go.
  5. obviously does not play with a mean streak. This is where all you "draft character players" get it all wrong. Not that it's nice, but those mofo's who smack back in a bar, tend to play well on Sunday....
  6. Look let';s face it. This whole character thing is way overrated. People somehow equate the fine public performance with what happens on the field. Nothing could be further from the truth. Who would you pick as a better character? Frank Reich or Jim Kelly? Mark Kelso or Nate Clements? Now you don't want social nutcases like some of the more outraegous guys; but after that, you are pretty much out of touch if you so much as factor in some college hijinks in your football playing decisions. It must be said, that a persons state of mind and mental makeup ARE important in projecting good teammates. But what you want are football mentalities. That might be significantly different than marriage compatibility tests. IF Mike Williams had played great ball and fallen asleep at the wheel, we would be able to get over that right quick. But that wasn't why he played poorly. He didn;t have the attitude. So skip with the choir boys and let's stop pretending that any one really cares if a guy has his girlfriend on the ground and won't let her up. That is a story that could mean anything. In any event it has little to do with playing on Sunday.
  7. Bruce Smith was also considered a great athlete his rookie year. And great was an understatement.
  8. Actually, I think Ralph's next move after Marv, would be to remove himself from the equation. That I also think would be bad. We WANT Ralph to be involved. The more he is, the better off Buffalo is. And I mean us - is Buffalo.
  9. So would you switch for Dallas pick, 1, 2, and 3? I think I would.
  10. pretty much the summary as I see it too. Forget those guys. They can't really get to know anything about a team. Not like we do. They just get the conventional wisdom so that they aren't wrong that often.
  11. in 2004 the Falcons were 11-5 and one shot from the super bowl. What part of that is a complete failure? And I don't know his lifetime record but it's in the 70+% winning. Just like a bills quarterback since, uh, actually, I really don;t know his w/l % - I'm just guessing. still it's good.
  12. I am really excited about V Davis. BUT, looking back you would see two consecutive drafts and a 1 and a 2 for tight end. Who does that? Nobody. Except maybe a real loser francise. Think of the money youd have tied up in TEs. However this does point out what a terrible pick Everrtt was. Maybe this is TD;s worst pick of all time. I think it worse than Losman (whom we all liked too at the time and Drew too. The few highlights I saw of Everrett were nothing special. The Bills saw something that just wasnt there.
  13. I am no homer when it comes to the WNY business climate. BUT! I have done business in Phoenix and I have to say, it ain't all that booming business wise. There is money here too. the one thing that the Southwest has, is people moving in. that in and of itself is a business generator. Look at Vegas (250k when I was there in 82 and about 1.5 mil in the valley now) look at Dallas, and Houston, and whats' that Austin in Tx. All these places have PEOPLE. But, not business. Not like corp HQ and big money business. Which leads me to ask. Is Corp. America burnt out? have we just become the largest Market in the world. NOT the largest economic engine? Manufacturing was the heart and soul of this greatness that we called America, but it is all but up and fled. NFL football is sucking off the corporate tit of the US. But look at your blue chips in your 401K. They stink. My Latin America investments have absolutely KILLED my blue chippers and my growth funds. And that is not just for 1 year but 2 and more. Maybe.... and it pains me to even think it, the influx of immigrants, illeagal and otherwise is the only thing still keeping us in the game. Cause otherwise we need to be thinking, we are burnt. what does this mean to us on the football board? 2 things. 1. the NFL can't continue to look to corp America to fund it's growth. Because that is going to start shrinking and shrinking fast! 2. The only place for growth in NFL land is PPV. Pay Per View. And where are the die hard fans that are going to drop 20bucks a viewing? And what will they pay to watch? That is the question that we will answer in the future. For now, I say the mainline old guard teams are worth the most. The FRANCHISE is the action. (quote me on that). So NE, Dallas, NY Giants, Oakland, Buffalo, Pitt, Minnesota, These are the teams. And they HAVE to be connected to the cities they come from. ie, LA Rams has more value than the SL Rams. It will be a global thing. And the franchise will be more valuable to the global ppv market. Think pro wrestling on an international scale with the ppv market. There is some serious money there. But to get it, the franchise has to be kept pure. Moving teams around will turn it into something that won't appeal to the world market. Lastly, don't think these guys don't understand this model. anybody?
  14. I'm guesssing that the linemen weren't as big either. Tark was a looong time ago.
  15. That big markets get thier population from small markets is no lie. I went to a Phoenix/Minnesota game a couple of years back in Phoenix. There was more purple in the stands than red. And after Minn won, you could have sworn that it was a home victory. All those people didn't fly in that day. If the Minn franchise was gone, that stadium would have been a ghost town. Wasn't all that filled anyway.
  16. Yeah but we got Coy Wire to lay the wood in run support.
  17. AND - if it weren't for Tut - you wouldn't be a memory at all Mr. Horus. Tut made you. The rest of you "gods" better wise up and thank your lucky stars for humans.......
  18. Not totally anyway. Close to it somedays, though. Cool to show and rock and roll with us. You might not be "da man" , but you is " a man". imho
  19. This brings up a question. IF Ralph were to die, there would be no inheritance taxes. In fact, his wife would just take the team. There would be no nothing involved. I think we are all assuming that he needs to parcel out all his property when he leaves this plane. But don't the kids usually get the farm when Mom and Dad both exit? And Mom in this case is in the shape of a 35 year old and will probably live at least another 30-40 years. She will probably outlive many if not most of us....
  20. This is why we take Vernon Davis. He is a player that could potentially end up as a "greatest of all time" at his position. NGATA is nyetta in NewYorka. We are taking football players with Marv on the seat.
