Countdown to midnight. Missed it by THAT much.

I'll see if I can get a discount getting yours recalibrated as well.

Seems to be a question of how desperate the bad actors that get outted really are & how prepared the money behind the Antifa movement is. Also, outlets that have been sympathetic to the Schiff-led narrative will in all likelihood, be supportive of the "sympathetic, spontaneous, patriotic protesters battling the fascist takeover of our government." Hopefully the ducks are so firmly in a row, that the narrative can't set hold. Would be shocked if the unrest reached civil war levels, but can definitely see unrest at late 1960's levels.

RIP Rep. Slaughter. Darn shame Mark Assini didn't run again. Her district would've been his this November.
-
Really? What's fair about him seemingly having the IQ of a typical linebacker's jersey - 55? Based upon his posting history, our friend Gator appears to have been very unfairly treated when intelligence was handed out.
-
Would he need Michael Keaton hair, or could he still keep the orange Barney Rubble comb over?

They do. And they'll trash her regardless of the correction. But they'd also trash her regardless of the original article getting published or not.
-
True. But that comes across as a legitimate attempt to clear up the misreporting. This isn't the typical page 37, small type, "we said x, but actually meant y, oops, wink, wink."
-
No, pretty sure you're confusing her with Jane Wyman. And he nowhere near the philanderer that Slick Willy was.

Of course it could also play into your theory if those subpoenaed docs prove timelines/ evidence presented by others can't be true. (Like if they prove that Trump Jr. was at Mar-a-lago when somebody else claims he'd beenin Romania.) And, as most all the NYT breathless pronouncements haven't been what theyinitially seemed, probably have to see what happens next to figure out if the squirrels finally found a nut (not referring to their readership, btw ; )). But knowing all the D's on his team it would SEEM the focus is switching more towards prior business, which for someone involved w/ NYC real estate for so long would HAVE to involve some sleeze. You can't go into a sty w/out getting muddy. Of course, as all of this stems from what likely is the poison fruit of the Page FISA application, nothing would be prosecutable it would seem.

If this is true it raises some questions about whether your theory about whether Mueller has moved his investigation from Russian-Trump Campaign collusion over to K-Street misdeeds will remain plausible/valid.? Another question is how exactly does the NYT know what subpoenas the SC office is issuing? Thought those weren't PACER/FOIA accessible during the investigation. (Could be wrong on that count though.)

If you're looking in a mirror, you've found him. If not, as with most every other subject, you are very likely wrong.

Justin Trudeau IS stupid. Vladimir Putin is a lot of things, many of them bad, but only you, and people of your (lack of) intellect, would say that one of them is that he's stupid.
-
Well, Putin himself isn't sanctioned, so clearly these sanctions are a ruse to give 45 cover to give Vlad THREE scoops the next time they are at either aninternational summit or catching a private fashion show at Mar-a-lago from Melania. How's that?

You seeing 45 tweeting outlandish stuff on days that it can hurt Republicans and expecting it is done to help Democrats is ignoring the other 350 days per year he tweets outlandish stuff. He does it because being outrageous is what he's always been & he ties people that hate him in knots trying to claim the latest outlandish thing is the most outlandish thing ever. And they appear to truly believe that until the even more outlandish thing comes next. And, a lot of stuff that seems outlandish at the time, turns out to be accurate when info that wasn't public knowledge comes out 1-2 months later.

Interesting. Didn't see that as a move forward, but didn't see going for a McCarron as the plan B behind a rookie when they traded Taylor either. Hope whichever way it goes, they make it work.
-
Really hoping whoever they draft pans out as they have no experienced arms in house. If the rookie tbnl pans out, swapping Taylor to McCarron works. But really not confident right now about it. Peterman has to be the saddest person in WNY right now as his job security just dropped precipitiously. Really can't see them keeping 3 young guys on the roster.

Chicago Is A Training Ground For Medics
Taro T replied to 3rdnlng's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Though Chicago is experiencing a sustained drop in murders since a dramatic spike in 2016, it remains a city where a high number of gunshot victims cycle through the trauma center night after night. About 30% of patients at Stroger Hospital, on Chicago’s near West Side, are admitted to the trauma ward with wounds from firearms, compared with a national average of 4.2% for level 1 trauma centers—hospitals certified to have the resources to handle multiple victims with penetrating and other serious wounds—according to the National Trauma Data Bank. “The experience here can’t be replicated elsewhere, unless you have a major land invasion,” said Dr. Faran Bokhari, who chairs the trauma & burn surgery unit at the hospital. Like Rahm Emanuel famously said, "never let a crisis go to waste." -
No. What people have been saying about revelations that Mueller's investigation is that finding that Trump's team was trying to establish "backdoor connections" in January doesn't make sense if they ALREADY (allegedly) had connections. Which, to have colluded in the Fall, they would necessarily have to have had. Wtf do they need to set up connections if those connections already exist? Either they already had connections & didn't need new connections or they couldn't have colluded prior to the election because they didn't have connections. (Or, both stories are bunk; but even giving you the benefit of the doubt saying 1 might be true, which one is it Bob?)

Tillerson's out. Pompeo to be the new SoS
Taro T replied to Nanker's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
There'd been so much talk of Tillerson being out over the past year, none of which panned out, figured he was safe through the midterms. -
Glad you're well.

Rep. Schiff wanted the probe to remain open ended. Couldn't have seen THAT coming.
