  1. CNN is full out looney. Tapper said that the joke about 'Russiaif you're listening, find Hillary's e-mails' was PROOF of collusion regardless of whether or notit was said jokingly or not & whether or not it technically rose to collusion. Valerie Jarrett's daughter was quite perturbed that Barr was politicizing this matter. One of the other talking heads expects that Pelosi will try to back away from impeachment. No ####ing ####, Sherlock. The report says there was no ####ing collusion.
  2. Apparently, 45 has released his answers to the questionaire Mueller's team had him answer.
  3. Will be pretty amazing just how much more vile than normal twitter comments will be tomorrow. And on Holy Thursday as well. Doubt many (any?) of the commenters will realize the irony.
  4. Sooooo, even though they officially won't know anything (other than was was in the 4 page summary) they'll come out & comment on it before they've readit? On what planet does that make sense? (Not even sure Tibs could defend that idiocy, though certain he'll try.) If they do comment on it even remotely accurately, won't they be exposing their own allies within the Mueller team? And if they don't comment on it, but merely decry how mean Barr is being, can they look ANYTHING but toddlerish? They've had ~3 weeks to prepare for this moment. Are they REALLY this ill prepared & cramming the night before the final exam?
  5. Would be hilarious. But probably not wise to tell their enemies any more details about what they have on them prior to releasing the wave of indictments against the perpetrators/backers of the spying operation.
  6. TOTALLY get why it matters politically. Can't see how it materially effects anything. So it is a particularly bad look for Nadler. It'll play well with his base, but makes him look bad to anyone still in the middle.
  7. Just how dumb does Snopes think it's average user is that it felt THAT meme was worthy of debunking? Really expected to find out Snopes giving any sort of legitimacy to it was fake. Sadly, doesn't apper to be the case. SMH.
  8. Wrong franchise. (Though probably more deserving of a sequel than VIII was/is. RIP John & Joan & any others now dust ~30 years later.)
  9. More like the wormhole of idiocy. It all escapes out of him.
  10. True. Perpetuating conspiracy theories is a job much better left to a Senator or a Congress critter.
  11. So, does this count as the "completely scandal free" prior administration's 1st indictment? Or are they still "pure & wholesome" because this didn't relate to work he did while he was working for 44?
  12. IF that's what put him over the edge, he never should've been in DC in the 1st place as something else would've almost certainly made him suicidal before 42's 1st term was up. Always figured he did kill himself & figured the Clintons were indirectly responsible for him deciding to do so, but not because they hurt his feelings. Just figured with their own malleable, shall we say, ethical standards and the annecdotal, but extensive, stories about how they treated people working for them that they created, non intentionally, a dilemma for him where he either stood his ground & not go along with something they wanted him to do which would've meant he wasn't working in his client's best interest or he sacrificed his own ethics for his client. Which in the pressure cooker that DC seems to be capable of, could lead to him deciding his best solution to the dilemma was to exit. And any rifling through his briefcase or repositioning his body that may have occurred were simply somebody trying to perform damage control after they found out he'd killed himself; not murdering him. IF that actually happened.
  13. But that wouldn't have kept him from having to deal with actually getting such a charge dismissed. Nor would it have kept her from having a nice meme/ CNN talking point of how the Treasury secretary is a misogynistic/racist/senior citizen hating post-neo Nazi who has no respect for the rule of law nor the separation of powers.
  14. Guessing that there is some sort of Contempt of Congress charge that can be levied if a person called before a committee leaves prior to the hearing being dismissed / recessed. Which would explain why Waters was trying to get him to walk out without ending the hearing. If not that, no clue.
  15. You expect that Katz is having the sort of cash flow issues that Pocklington had in the late 80's? If not, they're getting some monster offer to consider moving McClavicle.
  16. Not a chancein Hades the Eulers would settle for that. Eichel heads to Alberta in any trade they'd make with the Sabres. As to your question: Botterill answers before it rings.
  17. It's all connected ... Non-detective detectiving ... Love of aliens / conspiracy theories ... Holy ####. Just realized now that you're Dirk Gently! :0
  18. Actually, Pelosi's hypocricy is slightly worse. She theoretically is not merely a non-denominational Christian whose faith doesn't particularly have a view on abortion but rather a devout Catholic.
  19. Blackhawks had 3 combos left. Sabres 2. Pretty sure 1 other team had 2 as well, but don't recall who that was. Agreed that last year's lottery was a better one to win than this one. This seems to be a bit of a down year. Kind of like how 1st prize in '14 wasn't nearly as good to win as '13 or the 2 that followed.
  20. Considering after any of a 3 ball combination there's about 8 teams spread over the remaining 14 possibilities remaining with a shot, certain that call is correct. At most there can't be more than 2 or 3 teams that were more than 1 ball away.
  21. Heck, last year after the 3rd ball, Chicago had a better chance than Buffalo but it worked out.
  22. It was. Still, frustrating to a degree to know that teams in 2 of the 4 slots they could've ended up in heading into the last 2 games ended up moving up. At least there's no huge difference between 3 and 7.
  23. Yep. There are 1001 combinations IIRC and they are distributed randomly to the teams in the lottery based on the assigned winning percentages. (E.g. A team with 6.0% chance of winning has 60 combos.) Should that 1,001st combo get drawn, then they do a redraw. (They also do redraws on the 2nd & 3rd winning combos should a prior winner's #'s come up again. They've got the #'s distributed randomly to keep as many teams still eligible as possible as balls are drawn until the 4th ball is drawn.
  24. Pretty much where I was at as well. Top 2 would've been sweet, but they should still get a Mittelstadt quality player at 7.
