You're a Habs fan? Figured your being in TO would make you a Loafs fan. -
Sorry, hadn't seen this before posting in the other thread.

Well in fairness, Comey was the bad guy until he was fired like the establishment had wanted at which point he became the good guy. Give it time, depending on responses to the next responses, he'll cycle back to being a good guy again in their eyes. At least until it's expedient for him to be a bad guy again.
-
You've floated that theory before that Comey wasn't involved in this. Hadn't given that theory much credence before, but it COULD explain some things that don't add up (from this far away). 1st, it could explain why Comey's behavior seemed so strange around and after the election. Things he thought he knew might not have been so. It isn't a good look for him: being unaware of what's going on around him, but at least that isn't treasonous. 2nd, it could help explain why it looks on the surface like Mueller should be going hard after 45 because of the way his friend Comey was treated and the way the FBI (or elements of it) are getting dragged through the mud. But if he is more targeting the people that made his friend into a bit of a dupe and tarnished the department, that would make a lot of the things (indictments and leaks) that have come out about his investigation so far make more sense. Going after Manafort for his stuff that happened while he was tied into the Podesta Group rather than when he was in 45's campaign being one example. Still not sure that the theory is correct, but it is showing plausibility. And pretty sure nobody would ever buy this whole story if it weren't actually happening.

For him to play a more central role, wouldn't he need to be the ringleader?

Shame they cancelled the show. It was actually entertaining. Would've preferred seeing the show try a 2-1/2 Men solution to the problem of having a toxic star as the main character. Extremely moronic thing for Barr to say. Expecting that's the end of her run on mainstream venues.

Once in a 1000 year storm back after 2 years

That's a fair part of the problem. And additionally when former drainage basins/ flood plains get filled then areas upstream/adjacent don't have adequate drainage anymore and formerly floodless areas suddenly get flooded. -
The ON Again OFF Again ON again Summit

ST, expect your guess that the North denuclearizes & the Korean police action officially ends is accurate. Where stuff shakes out LT comes down to whether NK & SK enter into a reunification protocol. Expect 1 Korea to be the real end game, but China will want something huge for that. Would guess that would be US withdrawl (after reunification) from the peninsula & a guarantee of a certain %age of the mineral rights getting sold to Chinese firms. Definitely see Western money pouringinto NK during the ST & MT. Maybe the US has some side deals to let European firms get a leg up here ST to garner more support for Iranian sanctions until the Mullahs fall? -

All part of 44's "Asian Pivot." -
Switching gears slightly, this really makes one wonder just what dirt the contractors found through the 702 abuse on Sanders. He flat out had to have known Clinton was vulnerable on the deleted e-mails but he was adament during debates that the subject was a non-issue. There must be a lot more dirt there than just his wife's college oopsie. This crud is fascinating. Really hope the 1st book you put out is the non-fictionalized one. Like they say "you can't make this s### up."
-
Well, that's the thing. Originally, they were just coincidentally at the bar and Popadopoulos was bragging about how he knew the Rusdians had dirt on Clinton & twas a great thing for the free world that Downer serendipitously choose this watering hole to whet his whistle. Now, Downer allegedly asked for the meeting. It doesn't seem to add up. Would really like to know what he claims was the reason for wanting to meet this "nobody."
-
Has Downer, or anybody else for that matter, stated what he told this seemingly insignificant low level campaign aide Popadopoulos was the reason he wanted to meet? Seems extremely strange that a guy that high up would go out of his way to get this meeting unless there was something up. Am still curious what the cover story for this was. (Maybe just missed it in all the other storylines.)

Did Brandon have a minor stake in the team?

Had seen him reported as "managing partner" a couple of times, which implies an ownership stake. Of course, he likely was the source behind that, so no idea whether that was true & accurate. -
Voter fraud or taking advantage of a loophole?

Have been to that Walmart. Don't recall seeing ANY RV's there in the parking lot. -
But, sadly, on MtP & Snuffalupagus, they are STILL pushing the Russian collusion narrative even though even Mueller's pretty much disavowing that. Their continual pushing of a narrative known to be untrue for months & now even getting walked away from by Mueller will lead to actual bloodshed. This is just wrong.
