  1. Realized that. Thus the FTFY. (Which, possibly for the 1st time in the history of the internet wasn't meant in a sarcastic manner.)
  2. Why do you want them to keep going after the way of the dodo? If they succeed in continuing on this path, 2 of the very likely outcomes of that are both bad: 1. Somehow the loons like AOC actually get power; or 2. Conservative POLITICIANS get the sort of majority that allows them to become serious grifters (assuming for the moment that they currently aren't) which isn't good for anybody but THEIR cronies. Would suppose there's also the possibility that a 3rd party fills the void where slightly left of center politicians had been, but until that happens we get 1 or 2.
  3. That part is clear. Still have no forking idea what he was trying to convey unless it was the painfully obvious statement on its face. Which seems to be a painfully silly thing to say. (Which seems par for this election's course.)
  4. WTF is that even supposed to mean? (Other that what appears to be obvious that it claims 45 like steak well done and Bloomberg likes it the way it should be prepared. In which case who give a ####? How does that possibly matter as a qualification to be the President?)
  5. Agreed. But at least a story alleging the Russians want Bernie Sanders to win makes sense. The guys pining about the breakup of the USSR might understandably want to commiserate over a bowl of borscht with the guy that went to Moscow for his honeymoon. Them WANTING 45 to win in 2020 doesn't make any sense when compared to his actual actions and policies relating to Russia.
  6. Not sure that 40 months isn't too long a stay in prison for lying to Congress but 2 months is IMHO definitely too short. Wondering if those cheering this sentence won't end up having some remorse about it should Durham's efforts ever actually start resulting in indictments.
  7. So, why wasn't Canada in the family picture? Was it because it's the bastard child of the next door neighbor's house keeper? Just asking for a friend.
  8. Which clearly makes him more qualified than anyone else here to read testimony. Well, assuming no CNN anchors post here. He'd clearly have to take the 2nd seat and refer to their expertise.
  9. Now, now, you're not a lawyer, so you aren't qualified to determine whether his untruthful statements under oath are in fact lies. You need to defer that judgement to a big time lawyer, or at minimum a CNN anchor. Get back into your place, peon. ?
  10. Wow. He thinks you're a Person Of Substance. That's nice. Though he probably should write it out long hand from now on, as by using the acronym people might think he views you the way most everybody else views him.
  11. Thanks. It looked like a legit site. So truly feel bad for the kids getting "educated" by those dingbats.
  12. How the #### does that teacher manage to get out of bed each morning knowing that she's going to have to face 20 or so finger toting 5 year olds EVERY morning? (Well, except for weekends, and holidays, and vacations, and teach conference days, and the like.) Seriously, she has to face those mini-Nazis 180 times each year. She deserves a medal, or at least one of Bill Engvall's signs. The other parents that send their children to that school have to be wondering how in the hell they get their children out of that school if the administration is that obtuse. PLEASE tell us that was just some elaborate parody site and not a legitimate news story. SMH.
  13. Truly amazing. These TDS suffering, oppose 45 at all cost, foot soldiers manage to make a world class arse like Roger Stone into a figure that seemingly deserves our sympathy.
  14. Pegula saying "trade him right ####ing now." (Now hang up.) (Oh.)
  15. Am still firmly on the fence regarding Botterill. Expect they did him a huge disservice by not bringing in a Team President with a hockey background when he was hired. If they can him, unless they find a GM that also wants to build in that Chicago/Pittsburgh-ish mold, then they're set back a couple more years again. Though this time they've got some good pieces to build around (they had that when Botterill was hired as well, but all 3 of the big pieces Murray went out and obtained became personas non gratia and were traded/ released for pennies on the $ it took to bring them in) so hopefully the step back would be a small one. But, really don't want to take even a 1/2 step back 9 years into this "suffering." So, am willing to give him 1 more off-season, but if they are floundering around again come Thanksgiving, will join the pitchforks & torches contingent. Still believe (with no proof) that Botterill got forced into accepting a horrible return for O'Reilly. A legit return (or better yet, no trade, but that horse already left the barn) and then this team is in the playoffs this year with just an adequate goalie to pair with Ullmark. And, that belief that the trade was beyond his control to a large degree combined with their really only needing a couple of pieces to be in the mix is what says to me give him this off-season. (That, and an expectation he'll be back anyway, so why tilt at the windmill when there's nothing but frustration to be gained.) Of course, the flip side of the argument, that many take is: he should've somehow convinced Pegula the ROR return needed to ge better and somehow have forced him into paying the $7.5MM signing bonus that was due to get a reasonable return. And his unwillingness to sacrifice future assets to help NOW are disqualifying to letting him stay on. (Which after 9 years, is understandable from a fan perspective. There's been a lot of bad hockey through the years.)
  16. Hoping you're wrong and expect you are. But sadly, can't say that isn't plausible. Had a liberal friend tell me the Chines government was pretty good and effective a couple of weeks before reports of Corona Virus came out. Haven't had a chance to see if that's still his opinion yet. Sadly, expect that it is.
  17. His career is getting "wasted" the same way Steve Yzerman's was in the 80's. (That story eventually had a happy ending for Detroit.) The 2 biggest issues are, as mentioned above, subpar goaltending and a lack of a 2C. (1 more 2nd line winger would also help, but is a lesser issue.) And both of those problems can be traced back to a degree to the excess of bad contracts on the books. Botterill has been reluctant to give up the prospecfs/ picks he'd need to trade to bring in the sort of players that could fix the issue with limited cap space. The good news is, after this season, there is only 1 truly bad contract on the books (Okposo) and the rest go away (Hunwick, Sobotka, Bogosian, Sheary all come off the books along with several other UFA's (some of which MIGHT be back like Girgensons, Larsson, and Vesey). Botterill refused to spend the assets last year to bring in Marcus Johansson which could've both helped last year AND given notice that he wouldn't be a fully acceptable stopgap at 2C until (hopefully) one of Mittelstadt or Cozens grow into the role; which would've increased the urgency BEFORE this season to do more to fill in the 2C role. Botterill tried, kind of, to fix the goaltending by firing the old goalie coach (Allen) & bringing in a goalie whisperer (Bates). That kind of worked as Ullmark has become an excellent backup / passable starter and Hutton looked great for 6 games. But then Hutton fell apart for 3 months and that hoped upgrade wasn't. They also need to fix the special teams (NEVER should have let Wood out of his contract when Bylsma was canned. The PP has been a shell of itself since.), ideally by making an upgrade to the assist coaches. It could be time to bump Taylor up full time from the Amerks. When Krueger eventually moves over Botterill, Taylor could very well be the proper replacement. So, they should be in the playoffs next year with just a handful, or less, of necessary moves. But, was saying that this year as well and those moves didn't happen.
  18. Why only play the same 23 or so songs everytime? Guessing it probably has something to do with them pushing 80 and having spent the better part of the last 60 years frying their brains. They've got most of those 23 locked down but probably don't even remember 1/2 their catalog. :p.
  19. What happens at the mouth of a river DOESN'T effect what happens at the head. The mouth moves upstream as the body of water it flows into has grown and now encompasses where the mouth previously was. Have you never seen a tide come in?
  20. Not sure how they managed to get Bloomberg hanging upside down from 45's tie, but it was a sweet effect. Somehow, thought Mike was a bit taller than that.
  21. That gun clearly can't be a Leftist. Firing upon being triggered is a rational response, haven't seen many of those when a Leftist is triggered, so ...
  22. You aren't the only one. Thought it was an ugly guy until about 3 months ago. Turns out, it's a really ugly woman.
