Trick or Treat was on Sat night...5:30 until 7:30 here in Southern WV. we had about 200 visitors. Almost ran out of candy, but Mrs. Lew told me about the stash of frozen Snickers that she had hidden. Our neighborhood has 100 houses , so parents truck their kids in from the hills and the hollers to load up. Most of the kids said "Thank You", but fewer chimed in with "TRICK or TREAT !" One lil girl declared, "I want a Snickers" after I had given her a Kit Kat. By 7:00 there were no more trick or treaters. Back in the day we always went to one house LAST as they hosted a big party with cider, donuts and pop-corn balls. Nowadays, there is the focus on 'safe' community events at a Mall or community center.

Trans Siberian Orchestra concert tour begins. Two more days for me... btw...Vote early and often

I don't buy DVDs,,,until this one is released. I remember listening to the ending of the game on the bus ride home from 2nd grade. Those little transistor radios with the ear piece were great.

Exactly, price + quality of course and the GREAT weather AND the great playing companions made it a nice day. And I had the lowest score too...YAY me Maybe that is the Bills problem. They think it is still golf season and are trying for the LOW score.

Golf was a lot of fun. Diamnond Hawk was crowded. But the TBD crew was in fine form. All I can say that if you want to go to a golf course and search for lost golf balls, DH would be the place to go as the 6 of us made many donations to the woods, tall grass and watery areas of the course.

TBD was the first place I 'heard' about the terrorist attack. Then we went to the conference room and turned on the TV.

Two games have great memories. 1966... Bills squeak Miami at the Rockpile 58--24. I was there...YAY 1989...Kelly's TD at the buzzer is a great way to open the Dolphins new Stadium. I am hoping that the 2010 opener is memorable also. as in "wow, Spiller was a great pick"
