Tim Howard was incredible last night. It was a fun match to watch. And it was a true 'friendly' as no blood was spilled. It seems that most WC qualifiers at Azteca involve blood being spilled when the Red, White and Blue comes to town.

When in Lewiston there are many eateries. The Silo on Water Street landing is very good. Was featured on Adam Rickman's Man vs. Food Want wings ? Go to Apple Granny's on Center Street. Artpark always has an evening concert or other event. Ice Cream on a hot summer day ? Hibbard's Custard stand is A++. Definitely go to Fort Niagara. The Porter Cup Golf tournament is this weekend at the Niagara Falls Country Club. Amateur players in a top rated event. If in Niagara Falls, find Viola's Sub shop on Military Road. Everything on the menu is great.

Best seats at a hockey game. RBC arena in Raleigh NC. Sat ice level right behind the goal with my good friend, Ed in KC. This was the season after the Hurricanes eliminated the Sabres from the Stanley Cup playoffs. Lots of Sabres fans in attendance in NC that night. Sabres won and scored 4 or 5 goals right in front of where we were sitting. I knew hockey is a fast game, but being on ice level proved how fast the play truly is. Concert...third row center seats for Trans Siberian Orchestra in Chas. WV Fourth row seats for Blue Man Group in Chas WV. Comedy show. Second row for Gallagher and yes those damn watermelon fragments can really fly
