  1. IIRC, Kelly did work out for the Ravens and Marchibroda (i believe) convinced Jim it was time to hang them up.
  2. Nothing hypocritical there at all, Rush. I agreed with another's assessment, and still do, but as a man, despite diagreeing with his polictics/economics, I had tremendous respect for the man. A class act. Do you have trouble understanding that one can disagree with another, yet still admire and respect them? He had a heart as well, to which we all agree. Your oxycotin dealer is waiting for you at the corner....
  3. It was Thurman's bread and Butter because he had great vision, balance and patience. He knew when the follow and when to cut it up field. Lynch may be tougher, but he doesn't show the traits that made Thurman great, and great he was......
  4. I believe "stuffing the run" was the problem and the disagreement as well. McCargo appeared much more inclined to want to penetrate, thus not handling his duties assigned. Sam Adams was another who fit this mold.
  5. Yes he was.
  6. Wrong place for a political debate. Save this misguided, misinformed, and fear mongering thought for the political boards.
  7. Weight gain or not, I can seem to think of that as a bad thing....
  8. Same here. Despised his politics/economics, but not the man. RIP.
  9. I recall reading on a number of occasions that Bruce slipped under 260 during the course of a season.
  10. I'd add "get rid of Kelsay", but that may have to wait one more year.
  11. Ayers was the pick, the Bills are stuck (and hoepfully not with another "Flowers"). Jeez, Ayers was a the guy....he must have pissed someone off at One Bills Drive......
  12. Touboty showed that when healthy, he's a player, with far greater upside than Greer, Unfortunately, staying healthy hasn't been Youboty's strong suit so far. Fowler? Instant upgrade simply by "addition by subtraction", even if Harngartner or Wood perform poorly.
  13. With all that has happened this off season, and another DB drafted......KO better hope he can find an employer come late August, early September, because I don't see him remaining a Bill, and that would be a good thing after his miserable performance last year. I too like the Nelson pick. Let's hope we finally got a TE who can be a weapon. (Get ready to change that "sig")
  14. Harngartner plays center (his experience as a pro will count heavily). Wood may be the Bills cneter down the road, but unlikely it will be from the get go.
  15. EZC, you're really becoming one to ignore...
  16. No, this guy is NOT an NFL TE......
  17. I liked Ayers over Maybin in a heartbeat, so this is a no brainer o me. I'd take #2.......
  18. Sorry, but most of us quit "wondering" about the state of the Bills a long time ago.
  19. Casserly "had" a decent rep which led to his Texans job, but did so poorly he was removed. I'm not quite so sure that he is as solid of an evaluator as some think he is.
  20. .....but still capable of playing like Genghis Kahn..... (Donohoe you putz......)
  21. Yikes !!!!... He sure looked horrible in the SB (just as we remembered him).
  22. Good point and addition....I guess I still bame Saban for leaving (since we're not the only team or organization he quit on), yet Saban did bring respectability back until the penny pinching Wilson got involved.
  23. With Roscoe's limited (very limited?) value other than punt returns, his 3 Mil salary and bonuses this year do seem a bit much. Had he at least developed into a competent WR with some ability to utilize his speed, the picture would be totally different. Shopping Roscoe that this time makes some sense. Shopping Kelsay, on the other hand is a exercise in futility since he hasn't made a play since the 2007 season in the game against the Cowboys.Finding another team willing to take on his current salary will be difficult at best. It is likely Kelsay will be a Bill until the Bills simply cut him.
  24. ......what we would give to have them again.......
  25. Thanks, and I too, want little more that to be able to enjoy the Bills win few more than they have the past decade and actually give me reason to look forward to that grouping of games that follow the regular season> Oh yeah, they're called the playoffs, I darned near forgot ......
