Great day. Crushing Miami, Kyle gets a TD... and then Dalton does his thing. I'll never forget buying the Jax playoff tickets at halftime of our Miami game. I just knew it was going to happen. The rebirth of Bill-ieving!

The Sam Darnold redemption story has been fun to watch. I'm really happy for him. Was awesome to see the team hoist him up after the game this week. Even better that it's yet another dagger into the gut of the Jets org. Just shows that players simply cant succeed on that team.

12/29/24 GAMEDAY Week 17 Bills vs Jets Post Game Thread
DrDawkinstein replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
After the offseason hype train was on speed rails, the Jets demise over the entire season was great to watch. And yesterday's devastating blowout was just the cherry on top. "The Jets have closed the gap and can overtake the rebuilding Bills this season" S%$k my d#&k! -
CJ Stroud's uncontrollable crying.....
DrDawkinstein replied to Special K's topic in The Stadium Wall
In the moment... for a moment. But bro, you gotta get back out there. Take a breath and silo it while there is a job to do. Oh I'm aware. I was on Dorsey's side on that one and didnt think he lost the team. And have outlined why in subsequent posts. -
The new Spector for the next 2 weeks.

CJ Stroud's uncontrollable crying.....
DrDawkinstein replied to Special K's topic in The Stadium Wall
Couple of things. First, that is a time honored tradition and part of baseball. The players expect it and know it's part of the show. Total different game and traditions and expectations. Same way if a player was ejected for throwing a punch, we wouldnt say "guess you've never seen hockey where players throw punches all the time". Second, I was not someone critical of Dorsey on his outburst, I'm just calling out the board hypocrisy. I was fine with Dorsey because it was 1. emotion shown in trying to win the game and 2. away from everyone up in the booth and 3. anger is more easily excused in sports than... whatever emotion you want to call what Stroud was dealing with yesterday. Now, if Dorsey had an outburst during the middle of the game and then couldnt properly call plays the next coiple of series, then he should be criticized. Hence, I am questioning Stroud but not Dorsey. -
12/22/24 GAMEDAY Week 15 Bills vs Patriots* Post GameThread
DrDawkinstein replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah, a 3 year extension would keep him until he is 29. I think now-2027 is his prime. -
We've already been resting guys the last 2 games. Of course we will rest guys the next 2 as well. Now, what remains to be seen is WHO and to what extent. If Chiefs beat the Steelers this week, then we rest guys the next 2 weeks, and maybe Josh doesnt play at all week 18. Not real happy with his elbow contusion on his throwing arm at this point. Being healthy in the playoffs is more important than winning games right now.

12/22/24 GAMEDAY Week 15 Bills vs Patriots* Post GameThread
DrDawkinstein replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
This is the most important part for me. For years, I wondered why we couldnt find a guy who had the threat to take it to the house every play, and often would. I thought maybe that just wasnt part of the NFL anymore. It's so awesome to have a RB who, if he can get to the 2nd level clean, has a good chance of taking it all the way to the end zone. Total game changer. I'll also add that Cook has been a LOT more physical this season. Even running OVER guys a couple times. That is new this year, as previously the big criticism was if you get a hand on him he would go down. I think he's one of the few RBs who has earned himself a second contract. Maybe a 3 year extension. -
He's the next Tua of the AFC East. Will be just good enough that the Pats will be forced to give him a big contract, yet we'll never lose a game to him (except maybe week 18 when we arent trying).

Controversial opinion: Elam was pretty solid
DrDawkinstein replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
I do not look forward to seeing more of Elam and Spector these last 2 games, but I'll take it over potentially injuring one of our starters and having to see them play in the playoffs. -
Sometimes. But he played much better at the line and blitzing.

Red Uniforms. Take them off. Burn them. Never wear them again.
DrDawkinstein replied to bmur66's topic in The Stadium Wall
I've mentioned this a few times, but I fully believe Terry and the Marketing department are waiting until after we win a Super Bowl with Josh. Then they'll break out the 90s throwbacks the next season. Imagine the home opener after winning a SB, and Josh and the boys come out in the 90s uniforms for the banner ceremony, and all the old 90s Bills are on the field with them. Highmark would be nuts. -
Well, that's because it mostly turned when Cook came in. But the Defense definitely improved when Williams came in for Spector.

Spencer Brown deserves his own thread.

Love it. Also gotta say, at 6'8" 315lbs, with that neck role and visor... total bad ass. -
CJ Stroud's uncontrollable crying.....
DrDawkinstein replied to Special K's topic in The Stadium Wall
Most of this board lit up Ken Dorsey for his outburst of emotion after the Miami game, and how it was horrible leadership and how he likely lost the team by showing he cant keep it together. Same thing, but even more so here. Has little/nothing to do with it being crying. Any uncontrollable emotional state is a bad look. Same thing if he had been angry and unable to get past it. -
My dude, we have a front row seat to the Jets. And Buffalo isnt far from Cleveland. The proof is right under our nose.
-
He's certainly better than McCorkle, but if this is what we have to worry about, compared to Josh/Mahomes/Burrow/Jackson, I'm fine with it. I look forward to the Pats ending up in a Tua-like situation in 4 years and hamstringing their franchise.

This game reminded me of the last 2 season where we won a bunch but none of it was fun. This year has been so much fun. I can handle a game like today since our regular season is essentially over and it's just about getting to the playoffs healthy. With 1:50 left and up by 2 scores, I was cheering for Elam and the DBs to just take PI on every play until they ran out the clock.
