  1. He's already paying more than the state will, and he has to save that cash for signing all those high-guaranteed contracts that keep us a top 3 team. There's a lot about Billionaires I'm against on principal, but the stadium is just the cost of a small town trying to keep a major league team. And better to spread that cost over the entire state, and have NYC/Albany money pay for Buffalo. If anyone had to self-fund it then it's much smarter for them to do so in a bigger market where they can have a better ROI.
  2. I keep Wranglers separate from new Jeep SUVs in my mind. Wranglers have historically run well and hold their value. I also had a 2001 Cherokee Sport (XJ) that was great. That was the last year they made them and then became a Daimler brand and went straight downhill. All other Jeep SUVs in the last 20ish years are garbage and have major, major problems. All the new Liberties, Grand Cherokees, Compass, Renegade... garbage. Known issues with their transmissions.
  3. Be that as it may, Alex, these people have never been in my kitchen.
  4. He visited the Dolphins again yesterday. Find the room and get it done. We dont have much of a choice at this point.
  5. Not only did you post the fake twitter account, but you originally did in in Off The Wall. And that thread lives on. We're sending you back to (message) boarding school, son.
  6. Yeah, after Tre went down, pull all the starters out of practice. Hide the rubber mats too
  7. Those have been sunflower seeds on sidelines 😎
  8. Well now I want a Beef'n'Cheddar
  9. Dude cant even make the field over Trubisky and White. Sad.
  10. Again, I like McD as a speaker for the most part. My beef with him is more about in-game decisions. But he never has the juice that a Dan Campbell has, and I think Campbell is well balanced and doesnt go as far as throwing chairs through windows, but can light a fire. We had issues the entire 2023 season, and it wasnt just because of Dorsey. It started with that Jags game, and lasted all the way through the Bye. McD couldnt wake the team up. And even after the Bye, the Chargers and Pats games were way too close, we let Easton Stick look like a Franchise QB. Between 2022 and 2023 there were so many games that were way too frustrating even tho we won. I'll admit it was better last season. The games were much more fun to watch, and the wins were way more satisfying. So maybe we've turned that corner. 🤞 But what is the story with those guys? "Look how good they are. Isnt that awesome?"? Good players just doing their job is about as exciting and interesting as filming any of us at work all day. There just isnt anything there to publish
  11. This is why I think a guy like Jordan Hancock can win the job over Bishop. I think Bishop is much more pigeon-holed into one role. While Hancock is just a "football player" who has the instincts, knowledge, and athleticism to play everywhere and both stack the box and drop back and ball hawk. quotes are quotes tho 🤷‍♂️
  12. I dont totally disagree with this. There have been multiple times over the years where we've said "That game should be a wake up call, let's see if McD can light a fire under these guys" and then they come out flat again next game. I think it was 2023 where we were saying that like every week. The one thing this team has been missing is a real killer instinct, we are not "the bully". We have stood up to bullies and played them well (Lions, Ravens), so I'll give him that. But it does seem like he leaves it to the players to find motivation. That all said, I do think his stories/presentations are pretty good. At least when he isnt praising Al Qaida...
  13. You might have to give him the ol Russini treatment to close the deal. Thanks for taking one for the team!
  14. My first thought was "revenge for his kids?" Ooh, now that's spicy. And probably most likely according to Occam's razor. Very interesting.
  15. Beane does love taking on big dead money hits. This would be his cream dream.
  16. Was thinking about that as well. Probably no one and everyone. It's just a way for coaches to challenge all the players and get more out of them. There might have been something he saw from a couple specific guys. But I imagine he was going to say something like that no matter what.
  17. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/13568408/wife-washington-redskins-general-manager-apologizes-tweet-aimed-espn-reporter I mean, he was GM during peak Snyder/Redskins scumminess, when they had prostitutes on the team plane and on the NFL payroll. So it's likely McCloughan did have a side chick. But it doesnt seem like it was Russini and she just got caught up in some drunk wife anger.
  18. Nissan was great for decades, and then fell off hard over the last 10-20 years. Quality is still mostly there, but they fell behind in innovation. I know they are pushing hard to make a comeback. I used to be a Datsun/Nissan guy before flipping to Toyota (with a brief horrendous period with Jeep in between). Both great choices. You wont see any drop off from Honda to Toyota, and probably some improvements in certain areas.
  19. You cant go wrong with a Toyota. And the Tacomas are great. Last forever with just minimal regular maintenance. And hold their value for their whole life. Go for it. Tacoma, 4Runner, etc. (2017 4Runner owner here)
  20. Fodder for the last preseason game? But maybe since he's coming out of DBU 🤞
  21. Not looking good for this deal in Washington. The team has gone to the tactic of leaking info to reporters to try to make McLaurin look bad/greedy. IMO, it's on the team to get this done. Here's the team using Russini as a mouthpiece (if you believe the old GM's wife, it isnt the first time!) https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6563035/2025/08/20/commanders-terry-mclaurin-contract-holdout-nfl-news/
  22. You know they dont gameplan for these, right? They just run stuff they want to practice and see how players react. No planning on schemes, matchups, etc,
  23. "You're cut. You're cut. You're cut..." From what I've heard, Shavers has been struggling to find a special teams role as well. But at least he's trying 🤷‍♂️
