  1. Finish the story. What did the rental company say about the damage?
  2. I don't know about anyone else but I consider the most overrated Donut I have ever had. Not surprized to see the stock plummet. Bring back Freddies!
  3. I see that some want to trade Clements, so who is going to take his place? You are taking away a guy who is supposedly at the top of his position in the league and definitely replacing him with someone inferior. On top of that you get rush sacks or coverage sacks, and this team still doesn't have much of a pass rush. So you need a strong secondary.
  4. It's a lot closer to 35 years now. I think I have to get one of those Twilight Zone watches to stop time, or at least slow it down a bit. Although I have noticed when doing "how many years" estimates, I never seem to count the years after 2000.
  5. That would have been good considering how often they dropped passes that hit them in the hands that were attached to their shoulders.
  6. Now there is a goal. We could turn the Canadian city of Niagara Falls into what the American city has become.
  7. I'm going to Vegas this week and would like to know some reasonably priced places to eat. Good deals are welcome also. Thanks And Pete, I will be checking out the Alladin, looking for that girl who can jump thought a Basketball hoop.
  8. They have large heads.
  9. Does that include Alice Cooper??
  10. Any arguement using yards per carry to defend the OL is bogus. You either believe WM gained the yards he did because of or despite the OL. In my case I think it is in spite of. If you watched the games, he is usually good for 2 to 3 yards just on brute strength. He certainly earns most of what he gets. The real proof of a good line to run behind is a line that opens a hole on 3rd and 2 or 4th and one when you absolutely have to make it. And in this case, this line falls short. Although I will stick with my prediction, if WM ever gets a line that opens holes on a consistant basis, he going to rush for 2500 yards.
  11. You are right on with that statement. Briscoe was absolutely amazing. So what did the Bills do, trade him to the Fins. I never did understand that.
  12. Isn't this like worrying about winning the lottery because you will have to pay large taxes?
  13. My favorites come from the Outlaw Josie Wales. There are several good lines in that movie but the best is here. Josie and Chief Ten Bears
  14. To be fair they didn't really show you what they were doing until they were done. Must be the same as not showing you the needle with the novacaine. When I had the two of them done, after the first one, I was willing to get the second one done the same day, just to save me a trip. The guy wouldn't do it but it shows it is really no big deal anymore.
  15. I had one 20 years ago and I had two about two years ago. It was like night and day. Years ago it was a multi-visit ordeal and they removed the roots with an object that was like a metal straw. There was a reason for all the jokes about it. Now, it is all in one sitting, they take x-rays every 5 minutes to make sure they are not missing anything. I've had more painful trips to the regular dentist. One note- sometimes after a root canal your tooth gets very brittle. There is a chance it cold crack after the proceedure. Ask your doc about it. I personally like to go with a filling for a while and then the cap. Although if I remember right the cap can take about 10 times the biting pressure a filling can. So there is a little risk either way. Again ask the doc. BTW, it was a good decision on the flex spending. It makes the wallet hit a little less painfull.
  16. I was thinking about this the other day when someone mentioned George Allen. Watching McDole play for the Redskins aways confirmed to me that the Bills had one of the best lines in PRO football in the mid-60's. It always irritated the hell out of me that they didn't get to play in the first SB. I think they would have done a lot better than KC.
  17. Nice work. I was curious about the team record for each year. Here they are in cronological order. John Green (1960) 5-8-1 M.C. Reynolds (1961) 6-8 Warren Rabb (1962 ) 7-6-1 Jack Kemp (1963) 7-6-1 Dan Darragh (1968) 1-12-1 Dennis Shaw (1970) 3-10-1 Joe Ferguson (1974) 9-5 Vince Ferragamo (1985) 2-14 Jim Kelly (1986) 4-12 Todd Collins (1997) 6-10 Doug Flutie (1998) 10-6 Rob Johnson (2000) 8-8 Alex Van Pelt (2001) 3-13 Drew Bledsoe (2002) 8-8 Obviously if you look at the stats, an experienced 1st year QB does better than an inexperienced one. However, it doesn't make much difference to the final Team record. Gee, you might even think it was a TEAM game.
  18. I had to read that first line twice before I understoond what you were referencing. I find it interesting that you refer to PIRA when in the US, it is always just the IRA. Is this a US thing or is there something special about the P that separates it from just the IRA. I understand that the P is for provincial.
  19. After reading all the posts, I went back and watched the video. Notice the employee that gets spit on, then goes out in front of the counter. Looks like as soon as he sees the big guy wandering in the store he changes his mind, turns around and goes back behind the coater. I was nice that they interviewed him.
  20. For your 1000 post, that was more like 1000 to 1025. But it certainly was nice to see such a wide variety of opinions.
  21. I must have missed something the last 3 years. The first year, all there was was DB. The second year was 50-50. And the opinions are so split, I won't go into this year. I can here it now, "Well Mr Williams, how come you couldn't win with the Bills but think you can here as HC." GW says " It because DB sucks." Then again, if GW said that to guys here, at least 50 of em would re-hire him.
  22. He should sign for the vet minimum. Then tell them to spend the other 4 Mil on OLinemen. It's hard to believe he would go with a team that has a line worse that he Bills.
  23. Easiest question I've seen asked here. If he takes them to a playoff birth, they will say that's ok, he can't win a big game, so he will lose in the playoffs. And if they win in the playoffs and go to the Superbowl, they will say that's ok he can't win in a SB. And if he wins the SB, they will say, that's ok cause he can't do it again. And none of those previous games were BIG games anyway.
  24. Since it is tax season, after you do your taxes, increase your income by $100,000. Then see what you would have to pay. That is how it works. And don't forget to ante up the state's share.
  25. Am I to understand that you think I hate DB???? I am sure Fezmid got my post but I am not to sure you did. If you and I were pulling on the end of a rope, would we be pulling in the same direction?? I think you should read my post again. Then reply.
