  1. He seemed to always be the 3rd string QB, when healthy this year. Does that mean Wyche and Mularkey thought he wasn't ready?
  2. I thought Drew had to throw 3 interceptions to stick up the place. Guess Not? You think Drew is totally responsible for this loss? Winning teams make plays, losing teams don't. In the first half the entire offense didn't make plays. The play Moulds hurt himself on, if he caught that ball was a first down and the momentum wouldhave kept going. But I guess Drew has to be good enough to overcome that. What killed this team on offense this year is key drops and penalties at the wrong time. You want to blame Drew soley for the NE loss and the Raven loss and I will accept that. Other than that he played good enough to win. In fact, he gave you the exact kind of performance MM was trying to deliver. Unfortunately, there really is no power running game. Its McGahee or nothing, and half the time he has to work like hell just to get a couple of yards. Let me help you out a little here. I can get your entire gameplan for next year all sorted out. If JP plays and sucks, you can blame that on Drew for playing this entire year. So now its down to JP is good and its because it's JP or he terrible and it's Drews fault. Perfect JPera logic. My only knock against DB is he's not worth 8Mil. But then I don't think anyone is.
  3. The odds of Drew having a bad game are the same as they were for Favre a couple of weeks ago when he went into the game at 39-1 in cold weather. All QB's have bad games. But if he is given time and the picks are his responsibilltiy, I will give him credit for them. But it seems you can't give him any credit in this 6 game win streak. If you could you'd at least take one week off.
  4. If the Bills lose, its because of Drew. If they win, it is in spite of him. The clarity of your vision is such a thing to behold.
  5. That's a great pic for showing what a pitcher's elbow goes through!!
  6. If Ralph wasn't so cheap it would have been 80Million.
  7. I was just talking to a guy that had a CPAP machine. He couldn't adjust to it either so he got a new device that does the same thing but fits differently. I can't think of what the name of it is right now, but it was sort of catchy. He said he uses it every night now.
  8. That has been my sig since about the 4th game Drew was here. I used it because no one could be expected to keep up the passing offense he was creating. Unfortunately it was truer than I had ever estimated. But now that he is being given some help, the plus side of it is in force. HE LIVES!!!
  9. Nice reference, although I don't think many here are old enough to get it.
  10. that the Bills have won two games on the west coast. Here is the list, which I posted before Seattle, saying they had problems on the coast. Pretty impressive considering I always thought the trip took a toll on the players. Congrats to the 2004 Bills, I consider this a significant accompliishment. BTW, did you know Bledsoe can't win on the road. 1980- W, W Loss in playoffs 1981- W 1982 - 1983- L 1984- L 1985- L 1986- 1987- L 1988- W 1989- L,L 1990- 1991- W 1992- W,L 1993- 1994- 1995- L 1996- L 1997- 1998- L 1999- L 2000- W 2001- L,L 2002- 2003-
  11. It makes you wonder what the guys that call for DB to be an "in your face" type leader think of their bosses. Maybe some of them just don't work unless their boss comes in yelling and screaming. Lastly, you have guys like Ryan Leif, that have tons of that exuberant confidence. Most times it fits your description of "blowhard."
  12. While I agree the special teams are playing great, have you ever seen a team, SF, bobble so many kickoffs. And have you noticed that the receivers are actually catching passes they would have dropped( or worse, tipped) earlier in the year. Winning teams make plays, and the Bills are all of a sudden, making plays. There were several nice catches in yesterdays game.
  13. Sorry to hear this Frez, was he the guy rear ended on 81.
  14. The tidal waves created by it have already killed 3000, but these estimates are low. The earthquake center has reported at least 10 others in the area. Not very good holiday news.
  15. Thanks for the tip. I would have missed it.
  16. 2.5 here. And I laugh every time.
  17. It is the offensive line. WM gets tackled 5 yards behind the line and your going to blame him or Bledsoe? Do you expect every aspect of the game to be perfect at all times? It just doesn't happen. That same OL that is doing better still has breakdowns. Every line has breakdowns. The goal is to have less but that doesn't mean they will ever have no breakdowns. So place the blame on an individual play where it belongs. And the same goes for the QB. DB isn't perfect and never was. There are no perfect QB's although Manning this season is close. But this is most likely a career year for Manning. So don't expect Drew to have to win every game for you. In fact, I believe it is when he takes too much on himself that he starts failing. When WM came in and things started to balance out, DB played better. To say DB never has a short game is selling him short. I seem to remember a lot of games when the Bills played the Pats when DB was there and DB and Coates ripped the Bills apart. And he wasn't throwing bomgs to Coates. It's nice to see the Bills win but I think it is fairly safe to say they will have at least one more loss this year. The odds are in my favor here. It is always easier to predict failure than success, because ultimately very few succeed.
  18. Seems no one wants to answer this, but I will try again. Do lawyers ever sue other lawyers for malpractice? If so, what is considered malpractice? It appears there are lots of opinions of what malpractice is in other fields, so why not any opinions here? BTW, that statement that companies will always opt for profits over safety is bogus. Companies put a great amount of effort in making their product safe. There were cases years ago where major corporations made poor decisions but today it is recognized that it is not beneficial to the bottom line to do so.
  19. Since there are so many lawyers here, I was wondering if lawyers ever sue other lawyers for malpractice? If so, what is considered malpractice?
  20. My story comes from a preseason probably about 69. It was a kickoff return. The guy carrying the ball was behind 3 guys on the ground when out of nowhere some guy leaps head first over the 3 guys on the ground and tackles the ball carrier. I thought to myself, wow I'm going to keep my eye on that guy. Turns out it was Robert James, who still may be one of the best players the Bills have ever had.
  21. I believe that was Favre's cold weather record before tonights game. Just goes to show you the all QB's have games in which they suck. If he was the Buffalo QB, some would be calling for his head now.
  22. Your the commodity a temp agency sells to make money. I am no expert but I doubt it will hurt you.
  23. First, the Browns couldn't run the ball. And that meant the Bills could Tee Off on the QB. Next their receivers had a fair amount of dropped passes. Nothing like putting more pressure on your QB. To compensate the QB took risks he should have not taken. Leading to turnovers. Lastly, they managed to get penaltys at the worse possible tiime. And if that doesn't describe the early season Bills, I don't know what does.
  24. And just what year did the Bills win a Superbowl with Kelly? This post is very odd even for you since more than once on this board you lamented that you would just love to have Kelly back. This post looks like a direct attack against JK since it fits Kelly to a tee.
  25. The Bills have a long history of "playing down" to their opponent. Not many opportunities for that of late, but I think the game will be a lot closer than you would expect.
