  1. Sorry to hear this Frez, was he the guy rear ended on 81.
  2. The tidal waves created by it have already killed 3000, but these estimates are low. The earthquake center has reported at least 10 others in the area. Not very good holiday news.
  3. Thanks for the tip. I would have missed it.
  4. It is the offensive line. WM gets tackled 5 yards behind the line and your going to blame him or Bledsoe? Do you expect every aspect of the game to be perfect at all times? It just doesn't happen. That same OL that is doing better still has breakdowns. Every line has breakdowns. The goal is to have less but that doesn't mean they will ever have no breakdowns. So place the blame on an individual play where it belongs. And the same goes for the QB. DB isn't perfect and never was. There are no perfect QB's although Manning this season is close. But this is most likely a career year for Manning. So don't expect Drew to have to win every game for you. In fact, I believe it is when he takes too much on himself that he starts failing. When WM came in and things started to balance out, DB played better. To say DB never has a short game is selling him short. I seem to remember a lot of games when the Bills played the Pats when DB was there and DB and Coates ripped the Bills apart. And he wasn't throwing bomgs to Coates. It's nice to see the Bills win but I think it is fairly safe to say they will have at least one more loss this year. The odds are in my favor here. It is always easier to predict failure than success, because ultimately very few succeed.
  5. Seems no one wants to answer this, but I will try again. Do lawyers ever sue other lawyers for malpractice? If so, what is considered malpractice? It appears there are lots of opinions of what malpractice is in other fields, so why not any opinions here? BTW, that statement that companies will always opt for profits over safety is bogus. Companies put a great amount of effort in making their product safe. There were cases years ago where major corporations made poor decisions but today it is recognized that it is not beneficial to the bottom line to do so.
  6. Since there are so many lawyers here, I was wondering if lawyers ever sue other lawyers for malpractice? If so, what is considered malpractice?
  7. My story comes from a preseason probably about 69. It was a kickoff return. The guy carrying the ball was behind 3 guys on the ground when out of nowhere some guy leaps head first over the 3 guys on the ground and tackles the ball carrier. I thought to myself, wow I'm going to keep my eye on that guy. Turns out it was Robert James, who still may be one of the best players the Bills have ever had.
  8. I believe that was Favre's cold weather record before tonights game. Just goes to show you the all QB's have games in which they suck. If he was the Buffalo QB, some would be calling for his head now.
  9. Your the commodity a temp agency sells to make money. I am no expert but I doubt it will hurt you.
  10. First, the Browns couldn't run the ball. And that meant the Bills could Tee Off on the QB. Next their receivers had a fair amount of dropped passes. Nothing like putting more pressure on your QB. To compensate the QB took risks he should have not taken. Leading to turnovers. Lastly, they managed to get penaltys at the worse possible tiime. And if that doesn't describe the early season Bills, I don't know what does.
  11. And just what year did the Bills win a Superbowl with Kelly? This post is very odd even for you since more than once on this board you lamented that you would just love to have Kelly back. This post looks like a direct attack against JK since it fits Kelly to a tee.
  12. The Bills have a long history of "playing down" to their opponent. Not many opportunities for that of late, but I think the game will be a lot closer than you would expect.
  13. Marv had the best talent in the league and couldn't win a SB. The Bills do not have the best talent.
  14. I agree John Carpenter's "The Thing" is about as good as science fiction gets. It is one of my favorites although I doubt I could pick an all time favoite. But it is my all time favorite remake. Never thought they could do the original justice, but they did.
  15. I just bought this book on Ebay from a guy named Billy Joe. It's never been opened!!!
  16. They threw Watson to the wolves and the wolves were better for it.
  17. That pretty much matched my feelings in 1990 and 1991.
  18. Wow, is this line ever true! He seems to forget he was as optimistic as he is now pessimistic about RJ and Bledsoe when they first got here. But thanks for the laugh. It is good to start the day on a laugh.
  19. Somehow I can see the Sunbelt cities tapping into that water source. The Federal Gov would probably accomodate them for the "greater good."
  20. I guess that sums it up, your inability to recognize fact from opinion.
  21. She's just building material for her next book, "Prison Cooking, how to prepare and actually obtain ingrediates when incarcerated."
