My guess is you'll see Coleman after the bye.

I would assume they are thinking of Logue as a higher upside player than Ankou but maybe he's not ready or doesn't know the scheme as well. I assume the idea is that Logue would be the Austin Johnson replacement for next year if he can develop into a contributing player. I suspect that this is a short term solution and you will see someone let go after the bye and Carter is back.

Right which is why I talked about Ankou and Logue not Carter. I mean long term not as in multiple years. I meant long term like in this season. They are good fill ins for a week but they don’t want to have to rely on those guys for weeks at a time. I suppose that was my bad for not clarifying what long term meant in my opinion

I get that but Austin Johnson is old, Jones is on his last legs. Thats two bodies right there that wont be here for much longer. That leaves two spots to fill besides Oliver and Carter

I realize we only need these guys for a couple of weeks but pretty obvious they don’t have long term faith in Logue or Ankou and might be losing some faith in Jones and/or Johnson.

Thats a terrible trade for the Cowboys. Mingo has literally done dirt in the league and giving up a 4th for him is too much. I get the upside thing and the need especially with Lamb getting nicked up but yuck. He's gotten passed up by Jalen Coker who went undrafted this year.

I tend to agree with this line of thinking as well. I’d do something for a late pick or pick swap but I’m not giving up a high end asset. We already did that for Cooper but we did get a later pick back. Keep building the youth on this roster. Going to need it for defense next year which is aging and deficient in some areas

It helps that their offense is essentially down Pittman. They’ll focus on the run for sure and Indy’s offensive line is good but not as good as it used to be. Surprisingly Josh Down snap usage went way down last week. I don’t know if that was game plan specific or what. I expect to see a much better version of the Colts at home against the Bills than we saw vs the Vikings

Man Karlaftis and Wharton being down would be a nice little blow to that team if they miss some time. I think Karlaftis especially is close to being an elite player in the NFL
