  1. I do think that LB is prob up there in value for pick 30. I would suspect one of Collins, Bolton, Davis would be there at 30. Just don’t know how much they would consider it
  2. That list is very uninspiring to me to be honest. Phillips would be the best pick, I'm leaning away from taking a RB in round 1 no matter who you prefer. Samuel is a good player and he will rise because he plays a premium position but i'm not like wow I gotta have this guy. Oweh has unlimited potential and I think could actually go higher than the Bills pick but he is the ultimate boom or bust guy. Not sure I wanna take a chance on that.
  3. I also have this, both Harris and Etienne going early round 2. Penei Sewell could be the 3rd OT taken in this draft(guess thats bold cause hes locked in as #1). Jayson Oweh is the # 1 DE taken in the draft(unlikely but could see it over guys like Kwity and Jaelen Phillips). I'll also say that I think Justin Fields is dropping into the 20's of the draft, someone will take him or trade up for him in that range.
  4. I prefer Elijah Moore if we’re taking a slot WR at 30. I think we are going to end up with a WR/RB at 30 just because that is where the value is unless someone unexpected slips
  5. The problem I see is it isn’t exactly weak, but it’s weak at the Bills biggest needs. The Bills need a 1T, explosive edge, TE, CB, Big Nickel. There isn’t a lot there this year. I think that’s what has fans worried is they aren’t going to have guys contribute to those big areas. Outside of CB(which I think is also weak but everyone will have a different opinion on that) we don’t really have a guy 1st round quality to hang out hat on. Even the CBs that have been mentioned are reaches at 30. I expect Farley, Newsome, Horn, and Surtain to be gone. So that leaves us Samuel, Stokes, Campbell, Melifonwu guys who IMO would all be reaches at 30. Im starting to think that we are def going WR, RB, or OL with our first pick just because that’s where the value will reside. I’m leaning towards Elijah Moore at 30 right now
  6. Kicker, that’s about it for not choosing a certain position
  7. Yea I’m starting to think Bills are going WR, CB first two rounds just based on value
  8. Hey man, I decided to reach out to one of my guys who works as an NFL personnel guy. I don't ask a lot esp before the draft cause a lot of guys are tight lipped so I will not give up the team he works for or who he is but this was my exact transcript with him. Me: What do you think of the Melifonwu kid from Syracuse, and would their be any hesitancy to draft him due to his brother flaming out despite his brother's great athletic traits Him: Whats up brother, Just finished with meetings. I never watched him personally but I know we went over him a couple of months ago and he played his way into a draftable grade after his senior bowl performance. We talked about his brother and his involvement(i'm assuming he's his handler)but I dont think there would be any reservations about drafting him directly because of his brother's game. The most interesting thing I took from that convo is that his team is not high on Melifonwu as they gave him a "draftable grade" meaning he is much lower than people think as a 1st or 2nd round pick at least in this one teams eyes.
  9. I get your high on the guy but I know 2 Guys who scout in the NFL that I still talk to, guys I used to work with in the football industry and are still employed by their teams. It’s very much apart of the thought process. Maybe not a big part but it is. Shouldn’t be but it is. Just like height and weight shouldn’t be at certain positions but an inch too short and they don’t want you or 20 pounds to light etc. You don’t have to try to convince me every team thinks differently. If the Bills take him I hope they develop him and he turns out great.
  10. I’m just saying it’s human nature regardless of profession. Obviously someone is going to take a chance pretty high on him for his athletic traits. The question is how high. A team at the beginning of the 2nd round might say man if he hits he’s one of the best DBs in the game and it’s worth a gamble. Another team might say hey to what we know maybe we’ll take another guy here with a higher floor. I think Beane has shown he’ll take high tools guys and hope their developed. I just don’t see the Bills in his range unless they trade down to the mid 2nd round or so
  11. Whether you agree with it or not, a lot of scouts and fans will have that question due to his brother flaming out
  12. I think Oujlari is the best pure pass rusher in the draft. Not a scheme fit per say but I would take the chance if he’s there at 30 I just think the Bills are leaning DB
  13. The offense is already elite. Would it possibly take it to Chiefs level, probably. Well he prob goes the latest at 10. We’re talking multiple high picks to get him
  14. He prob was told by the Lions he could compete for a starting role, something obviously the Bills weren’t going to do
  15. In 2011, the Falcons gave up 2 1sts, a 2nd, and two 4ths to go from 27 to 6 10 years with the Browns. The Bills are 3 spots lower, the Falcons 2 spots higher and there is draft currency inflation. My guess is you’d have to give up 2 1st, a 2nd, 2 3rds just to get them to pick up the phone
  16. I think LB is still a very good possibility at 30 particularly one who can cover.
  17. Beane does this every year, provides short term comp by signing a bunch of fringe starter/depth guy after the market calms down
  18. The one area that stands out is CB that’s gotta be a 1st or 2nd rounder
  19. The team plays better in controlled environments and your now a passing team with a QB who will be around 10 more years hopefully. Build a dome
  20. It is easier if your going off of what teams did last year and retirements and such.
  21. Prob bringing a guy in to see if they can untap that potential. Maybe a hybrid possibility? They still need one and have clearly been looking for one since they got here. Bush Neal Marlowe
  22. I like Meinerz a lot, better prospect than Ali Marpet coming out IMO. Problem I see is he’ll probably go somewhere between 30 and 60 so unless the Bills trade down from the 1st or up in the 2nd(don’t put it past Beane) he prob won’t drop all the way to 60
  23. How bout the two guys from Northern Iowa, you wanna talk about two small school freaks. Spencer Brown OT Elerson Smith DE
  24. Out of all the Edge guys, I think I like Azeez Oujlari the best but idk how he fits, he’s about 6’2 250. I think I’d roll the dice there at 30 if he’s still there we need a true 1T to replace Star who clearly won’t be here after next year.
  25. i think there is a lot more upside with Pitts than any other TE. I guess it would depend how much we’re giving up to get him. If he’s going 7 then no if he’s going 20 then yes
