  1. https://www.syracuse.com/buffalo-bills/2023/03/nfl-scouting-combine-2023-who-have-buffalo-bills-met-with-in-indianapolis.html
  2. I did from college, knew he was with Kromer and has been a starter. I follow more of the college game when it comes to scouting
  3. A lot of it has to do with hey, you can come here for a year, regain your value, and you’ll have a chance to be a FA again next to cash in
  4. None for the players at 27 are worthy. The only one is Simpson that is worthy but is a bad fit for the Bills. 59- Campbell, Sanders, Simpson, and maybe Henley if your desperate but it would be a reach 91: Henley and Williams. The rest 4th round or later
  5. This is a guy a lot of us were talking about before FA started as a possibility for the open guard spot. Super talented guard who has started and played well when healthy. Problem is he hasn’t been healthy a lot
  6. Guarantee they don’t. You’re living off his rep not what he’s done on tape. He struggles to tackle. He struggles disengaging blocks. I could see someone overdrafting him. He’s a good athlete but not a freak by any stretch but no point you have your opinion and I have mine and neither will change.
  7. Just read on the twittersphere that Beane was eyeballing Dawand Jones and Darnell Wright pretty hard at the Senior bowl
  8. The Bills are clearly looking for field stretchers this year that can create YAC underneath. I have clearly maintained that Jalin Hyatt is a guy for that but the next best guy in my opinion for that is Tyler Scott out of Cincinnati. Some peg him as a slot only guy in the NFL but I disagree. I think he can play inside and outside and is a former Running back so he has some toughness to not just be a level 3 take the top off a defense guy. He can also work the short and intermediate area. I'm a big fan of his.
  9. I agree with you. There is a solid possibility he doesn't go in round 1
  10. Cody Mauch isn’t a tackle in the NFL but I played a long
  11. There are not many true MLB prospects in this draft. A lot of undersized guys masquerading as MLBs Campbell and Drew Sanders Then it’s Trenton Simpson who I don’t think is a Mike but others will disagree. Daiyon Henley from Washington State would be a good consolation prize in round 2. Dorian Williams is slightly undersized but covers well and can be groomed in that spot probably round 3 or 4. After that it gets into a what’s your flavor to fill a spot. Pappoe from Auburn and Overstreet from Texas both highly recruited and undersized possess great athleticism but have never put it together as football players. Noah Sewell from Oregon looks the part but plays like cheap tissue paper and processes slowly. Ivan Pace Jr from Cincinnati looks the part of a MLB but he is 5’10 and has yet to run a 40 yard dash time. Can he overcome his limitations? He was a hell of a college player in an aggressive defense at Cinci. I’m intrigued as I was very high on Malcolm Rodriguez who was drafted round 6 last year and ended up starting for the Lions. Last guy I’ll bring up is Anfernee Orji from Vanderbilt. Played outside there but think he can definitely play Mike in the NFL has ideal height weight speed and had good production in college. Think he could be a good NFL player
  12. We need good young players on cheap contracts. We only have 59 guys under contract with no cap space when we need 90 to go to camp with. I think ideally we'd draft 8 or 9 this year instead of the 6 we have currently.
  13. Henley I can get behind. Sewell no
  14. Like I said in the other thread, if you want a replacement for Edmunds you better get Campbell or Drew Sanders. If you don’t get one of those two, you’re better off rolling with Bernard/Spector and seeing what they have. I like Dorian Williams but he’s also undersized. Pappoe, Sewell, Overstreet were all high end recruits who are good athletes but bad football players who can’t tackle. This LB class is that bad
  15. If the Bills are going LB it better be in round 1 or 2 after a trade down. This LB class flat out sucks. I also don’t think that Simpson is a good MLB prospect he’s better in the Milano role. If they don’t get Campbell or Drew Sanders you might as well wait until later like around 4 and get a Williams from Tulane or like him.
  16. I do a live 7 round mock draft yearly with like 20 guys. I’ll make a post about it after it’s done(we are just starting round 5). I went with a Tackle as well with the first pick.
  17. Christian Benford is not playing in the slot which is where the nickel plays. Benford is going to play boundary CB and cross train at Safety. The backup nickel is Cam Lewis. If Johnson gets hurt it’s Lewis going on not Benford. They need a backup safety/nickel who is better than Cam Lewis and Siran Neal
  18. they need another Safety who can play nickel. I don’t want to see Cam Lewis on the field
  19. The 3 worst ranking sites I see out there every year are ESPN, CBS, and Drafttek. I don’t agree with very much and you shouldn’t either
  20. While I love their reports on guys. A lot of times their projections dont match what’s currently happening in the draft landscape. Could someone draft him in round 4 on pure potential sure that happens. I think more round 5-6 is justifiable but it only takes 1 team
  21. Kuntz can’t block worth *****, his hands are not great, and he looks nothing like a 4.55 guy on tape. That would be this guy. You want the best of both worlds hes your guy.
  22. See and thats whats great about the scouting opinions. What you feel is a pigeon hole keeping him down, I see as a guy who can play 3 positions for 1 player and has higher value than others because of it. Its not a knock I find this aspect of things fun. I disagree with the late 3rd. Could you talk me into early 3rd round then yes I can go with that.
  23. That’s why so many fans get pissed when X, Y player gets passed up for some unknown or lesser guy. Most scouting reports are outdated even from reputable places. You have to watch with your own eyes and formulate your own opinion. I’ll give you an example. I started watching the safety position. I watch Quan Martin out of Illinois. I see a guy who excels as a Nickel CB, can play the deep half in zones really well who is a realizable tackler despite his size. Has played in the box and the boundary at an average level. Then I look at the combine numbers and see 4.47, 44 inch Vert etc. So I’m like damn good football player, who’s versatile, shown he’s a high level athlete. I’m like let me check the draft prognosticators. All like 4th and 5th round. Instead of questioning myself because of an old scouting report, I laugh because I know watching tape and how the NFL works that Quan Martin is most likely going to go in round 2.
  24. His scouting report comes out as the standard white guy scouting report. Well what he might lack in physical traits he makes up for with his high football IQ, coming from a winning pedigree, and his hand placement and agility. His scouting reports say he’s agile. The eye test and his RAS score say differently. He’s a RT or a Guard. RTs of today don’t have to be mean mauler types with heavy hands. That thinking is from 20-30 years ago. That’s like telling me the best DE is still the RDE. Eye roll worthy
