  1. They just gave Beane and McDermott contract extensions last offseason. What people want to happen is different from the reality of the situation. These two aren’t going anywhere unless they majorly flop
  2. The Philosophy of this team has always been the same. Blue Collar players who work hard and work as a team instead of worrying about individual status. Good character guys who fit a locker room. Even the Maserati is from a middle of nowhere Cali town where he grew up on a farm and was non recruited
  3. I said it in another thread everyone will bring up Gronk over Troup, Metcalf over Ford and Russ over Graham about how smart they were compared to the front office but I’m sure if I spammed this board over the last 5 years it will be 50-1 on guys like that compared to guys that were recommended that flopped on their ass
  4. I said for months that the Bills would love his leadership and character traits and that he was the type of player they would love because of his maximum effort and doing the small things it takes to win. Most didn’t want to hear that cause they read a couple scouting reports and wanted more speed guys
  5. Just because there were rumors that the Patriots wanted Keon Coleman and that’s why the Bills didn’t move down from 33. Could have also been the reason why Morgan moved up 1 spot out of fear that maybe the Patriots wanted Legette so two friends helped each other out
  6. I mean that’s what you do with 1st round picks you expect them to take steps. If Kincaid didn’t take a step with Diggs we would have been in trouble. Coleman would have been a first rounder if we didn’t trade down. The idea was we never gave Allen legit high draft weapons. He now has two essential 1st round picks to throw to and we might give him another high end one next year whether in the first or second
  7. This is what I was saying about him pre draft , FSU relied on basically a jump ball offense and very rarely threw anything but a screen or go ball to him. I think he is capable of way more than that when people talk about his lack of route tree it’s just he wasn’t asked to Told everyone that every defense in the country is going to see that on tape and adjust to it causing a lack of separation. Look at the LSU TD he wins in contested fashion in the opener over Major Burns. Any NFL team would have adjusted as Burns is literally 12 yards off Coleman but they still throw it up to him for the TD instead of adjusting to a slant
  8. Oh I have no doubt. He's 20 years old there is no one here who can say they were maxed out in their profession at that age. Most hadn't even started it.
  9. He’s going to have to be better at contested catches to win vertically but I believe he will eat in the intermediate middle of the field as a pro and I don’t mean from the slot
  10. It would have been the same freaking out. The Bills would have taken Coleman at 28, fans would be pissed, the Chiefs would have taken Worthy and still complained about how we let the Chiefs take him after us. The only difference was we wouldn’t have DeWayne Carter and the Chiefs would have taken someone different than Jaden Hicks
  11. I was high on Hamler coming out. He has failed to this point no doubt but he was stuck behind Jeudy and Sutton and then on top of that has had nothing but horrible QB play. I remember the game where he got incredibly frustrated as he was wide open in the EZ and QB threw it somewhere else. I have low expectations but he is the type of dart throw I love especially when Allen is now the QB
  12. He was passed over so many times cause he had a lot of character issues including getting kicked out of OK State it had nothing to do with his play. He has been accused of multiple things since, birthed a whole offense but because he’s a top playmaker that stuff is overlooked now
  13. If people thought it was a guy who was a current free agent then they’re lost. You don’t work out guys who played at a decent level last year. You work out a guy who has not played in awhile. At least people now have that answer
  14. A UDFA wouldn’t have been in Buffalo working out on Day 3 of the NFL Draft. He would have been at home with his family hoping he was getting drafted. If he wasn’t drafted he would have fielded 32 opportunities from teams and weighed money and opportunity to make the team. He wouldn’t have said well let me travel listen to no one else and sign with the Bills. The WR that Beane is signing is someone who has already gone through the draft process or has been playing in another league . Satisfied with my answer now?
  15. No they don’t know what their talking about
  16. The problem people have is there was no 2nd WR early. The fans on this board wanted to drive the brand new Ferrari off the lot even if it might be defective but instead got the Honda CRV that isn’t exciting but will get the job done a lot longer
  17. To be clear I didn’t say I wanted Kenny Golladay, just that if their making a vet WR work out on Day 3 of the draft it is unlikely to be someone like Boyd etc and more likely to be a guy that has been out of the league a bit. the only reason I brought up Golladay was he was the first ones to come to mind. I also was thinking Scotty Miller as an example as well etc
  18. I’m trying to think of guys they’d actually make work out. They wouldn’t make Boyd and Chark work out imo. What about an off the radar guy like Kenny Golladay? Out of the league last year still only 30 but def a guy they’d make workout Im thinking it’s a guy more a long those lines
  19. 1st Round- Bills 2nd Round - Vikings 2nd Round - Bills 3rd Round - Bills 4th Round- Bears 4th Round - Bills 4th Round- Expected Comp pick (Davis) 5th Round- Expected Comp pick(Floyd) 6th Round- Giants 6th Round - Bills
  20. No I don’t think they would considering Brock Purdy blew out his elbow in the NFC title game and they proceeded to get smacked by the Eagles with Josh Johnson playing QB
  21. Newsflash: No Offense or HC/GM would survive without a franchise QB.
  22. I just watched Brandon Beane's presser. No where in his 33 minutes did I hear him say oh we're rebuilding or we plan on not winning this year. He only mentioned transitioning from going from an older roster to a younger roster, transitioning from older leaders to younger leaders which is why they focused on captains. I mean people can hear what they want but this thread and quote is insinuating they failed and their now rebuilding this roster. The only thing I think they are transitioning from is being a finesse team to more of a physical power team. Literally all of their picks indicate that to me.
  23. Very similar philosophies. Utah is made up of under recruited blue collar players who play like a team and are tough, smart, and physical. The Bills love guys like that so it’s natural their taking some of their guys Kyle Whittingham does more with less than any coach in the country and I believe is one of the best college football coaches in the country.
  24. Im an FSU fan and this just shows the culture that Mike Norvell is building at that school. This is two guys brought together through the transfer portal by him. This was part of the reason why I wanted Braden Fiske so bad in this draft. Look at the passion in that man to want to be dominant. This is part of the reason why I’ve been telling you about Keon Coleman and the type of guy he is as well. Great video it made me tear up for a number of reasons including the fact these guys got shafted out of the opportunity to play for a national title(No I don’t think they would have won)
  25. Def PS squad call up guy in case of injury
