Yea in what way did I say they were cutting him. I said there will be options out there for # 2 if they decide to go that route. Point me to where I said Trubisky was getting cut.
There will be other options at # 2 if the Bills decide to go in a different direction at # 2 QB. There cleaned it up for you
Did I say they were cutting him? I just said there should be other options out there if they decide to go that route. Notice I also included our PS QB. It wasn’t solely a discussion on # 2
It will be interesting to see how many teams keep 2 vs 3 QBs because guys like Zappe, Rush/Lance, Sam Ehlinger, Davis Mills or Case Keenum etc etc
There will be options out there for a different #2 option and PS guy
Ray Davis will be the starter by mid year not because of his running but because he’s a much more consistent pass catcher and he is a much more advanced pass protector than Cook
Yea I have like RVD at Left since I watched him last preseason not as much at right and Grable is incredibly nimble and has starter upside with more development.
They need to see if RVD can play RT to stick on this roster. They are doing the same thing with Grable. Think both will make the roster
I’ll also be honest I might have to take my Andreessen take back. What he has done against Pittsburghs starters has been damn impressive.
I agree Zappe will get released instead of Milto. I’m not a big Milton fan regardless but I don’t think NE let’s him go esp since their going to be really bad this year
Hardy will make this team. Does McDermott trust a rookie fielding punts but the kid looks like he knows what he’s doing as a returner and Cam Lewis is the backup slot who can easily be usurped at some point
He’s not making the team. He’ll be on the practice squad. He’ll take the Lewis, Ingram UB to Bills PS route for sure especially being able to keep 17 guys
My big issue is this doesn’t help build chemistry with the WRs in game action. I get it don’t want to get Allen hurt but this makes me think Allen play more next week with the WRs
Time for Dorian Williams to step up and become the player I think he can be.
He was drafted to eventually be his replacement just earlier than anyone intended.
Maybe an overreaction but it might be time to start thinking this is Milano last season with the Bills. Great player who is getting older and has had a lot of injuries for his salary. Can he stay on the field
Edit: Just checked it. Looks like he’s on the hook with the Bills until 2026
