With the 25th pick in the 2023 draft, The New York Football Giants select Darnell Washington TE Georgia. The Giants are intent to help their recently re-upped QB, Dan Jones. Coach Daboll will enjoy deploying DW each week in new and creative ways. Whether chipping in paving the way as a blocker, lined up at FB or H back to making his presence felt in the passing game, Washington's size, skillset and powerful frame along with 11" hands will be a thing to behold. He will soon become a favorite of Jones and fans alike, especially in the RZ. He is a mismatch waiting to happen. @frostbitmicand those Cowboys are on the clock

With the 9th pick in the 2023 draft, the Chicago Bears select Paris Johnson, Jr. OL Ohio State. Look, this was an easy selection even with other areas of concern. Fields was sacked 55 times last season and that needs to be curtailed. With Johnson's help and wiser decisions by Fields should lead to a more efficient, effective offense. * I apparently was not in the room when others decided to give T. No offense taken. 😎 And I understand a change isn’t something you just decide to do. Certainly not on the fly. I’ve been saying all along that KD hasn’t had the propensity to use 1 let alone 2 TEs. That said, KD needs to be more creative within the parameters of his offense. Fingers crossed.

This is realistic if one expects Dorsey to evolve philosophically. I’m not saying that’s the case, but a selection of TE, Kincaid in particular, would indicate a change. I think it’s quite interesting. gonzo -,a very fresh, intriguing draft overall. Thanks!

To all fellow GMs and Virgil… My sincerest apologies for missing my selection at #23. I am just now getting my technology back in my hands. I’ve been without cell and laptop since about 10:00AM (left my backpack in my colleagues vehicle 🙄😑). I so look forward to these drafts and making selections, trades, etc.. But what’s worse is holding up the process and you fellas for NO GOOD REASON and not being able to reach out to anyone in the process. Please forgive me.

I couldn't care less about where we'd rank defensively. It need only be opportunistic. It needs to get to the QB at key times and come up with that "one stop". If this draft doesn't scream offense (ie. protect and provide for JA), then BB needs to look over his shoulder.
