I gotta say, all these years later and the emotions I felt that day (I was 37) just rush back so vividly - even today. It is just so sobering. Unlike any event I’ve encountered. I think its early after just one season to attach any identity. I would need need to see how this season plays out to form any identifier. It’ll be interesting to see how they bounce back from this loss.

It was an honest question. Not trying to be a smartass. A Daboll team. He just got there. What’s his identity? How do his teams play? A bit early to recognize his teams as anything yet. I will say, him continually shaking his head on the sideline is not a good look.

Thanks - disagreeing or disliking his play calls isn't hating on the guy. He's an absolute gentleman and has run some good D's. It just wasn't working here, especially n big games. Tough to argue that. This Successful teams adjust. Our biggest issue last year (on the field) was predictability. On BOTH sides of the ball.

While this might be true, I'd have to think McDermott knows the previous formula hasn't worked. Especially in big games vs prime opposition. If he's smart, and I think he is, he'll adjust - perhaps noticeably (ie. aggressive).
