You're not kiddin'. Freakin' Houston, a team that has many holes not having 2nd rounders for consecutive years AND dropping in the 1st this year?!?! I get going in another direction, change the face of the team and all that, but it seems one 2nd would be plenty w/ a swap of 1sts. It'll be interesting to see how Schaub responds to this challenge. He will "hear it" early and often if he/they don't get off on the right foot. If I'm not mistaken, the OL hasn't changed and Schaub isn't quite the athlete Carr is. Perhaps better decision making will make the difference.

Exactly. Bushs' setback has come at a most inoppurtune time. He now has to deal with this issue while teams are now getting their boards in order. How can this NOT result in a substantial drop? The more I think about it, a 5th round may just be the earliest he goes, as stated earlier by MBD. Risky business.....

Knowing of this other procedure, I certainly don't see Bush going on the first day. 5th? Could be. After sleeping on it for a night, someone just might pounce early in the 4th. The ultimate in hit or miss.

I would agree if his contract is commeasurate to AT. With AT being a DJ "guy", CB would REALLY have to impress the staff in your scenario of one or the other being the #2 RB. I can't seem to get a good feel one way or the other what a CB signing means down the road for this team.

Having picks, extra picks as The Bills do in the upcoming draft and next years (the 3rds for WM) makes them so much more valuable with the way they do their captocash business. The more picks the merrier. Fundamentally, IMO, the trade up business we do would involve moving back into the 1st or up into later rounds. It just seems to make sense. Here's to the Bills and their future acquisitions!!!! I have a feeling we will be draft pick generating machine.

Certainly anything is possible, ROCCEO, but I get the feeling Marv and his crew see the value and versatility with having as many selections as they do. I'm guessing (geez...I could be a mock expert) they can walk the fine line of need/want and still get what they want in the mid-teens while acquiring another pick. OR.... We do a "Ditka" and package the motherload for Calvin, as he is the only player I'd consider moving up for. I'd stick to the former, however. Basically, and you can't argue this, I just don't know........

With Lynch presumably there for the Pack at 16, why the panic? Rumors not withstanding. Should they feel the need to move up I would think it's for the sole purpose of nabbing AP...IMHO.

Kind of begs the question....would we be satisfied with our RB situation by adding CB? If so, a trade down from #12 seems more and more likely, IMO. I know, I know.......we need someone who wants to move up for someone specific. I'm going on that premise.

Take a bow yourself, Bill from NYC. You contributions to this board don't go unnoticed by me and I'm quite sure, many others. stuckincincy is a favorite as well. I didn't realize, truthfully, how many interesting people frequent this place. I clearly left off more than I acknowlegded purely due to forgetfulness. To compile a list of favorites is akin to picking a Final 4 in college hoops in that I try to get "cute" picking some of the unknowns. They are certainly worthy, but don't quite stand out like the top seeds....... Sorry for the ramblings......
