I agree Tipster. They were playing the best down the stretch last year in that division. With the FA pickups, Alex Smith's progression AND this years crop of draftees, they will not only be a force in their division, but the entire NFC.

Hmmmm.....lets see. If we won it this year it will have been 40 some odd years to have done so..... It took the Sox 80 some odd years to win a championship...... I'm not a mathmatician, but I'd say it would have approximately HALF the effect on me as it would have a Sox fan back in '04. ....whatever that effect was.

You're not kiddin'. Freakin' Houston, a team that has many holes not having 2nd rounders for consecutive years AND dropping in the 1st this year?!?! I get going in another direction, change the face of the team and all that, but it seems one 2nd would be plenty w/ a swap of 1sts. It'll be interesting to see how Schaub responds to this challenge. He will "hear it" early and often if he/they don't get off on the right foot. If I'm not mistaken, the OL hasn't changed and Schaub isn't quite the athlete Carr is. Perhaps better decision making will make the difference.
