  1. The original recordings are the artist, as well as the fight songs. The "As Made Famous By" are covers, most likely because the originals are cost-prohibitive...
  2. It's been confirmed in their soundtrack that "Shout" is not there.... Link
  3. I call him "Bob Jauron" to my friends who follow futbol, and they always get a chuckle out of it. I also thought that while the defense was woeful to start, they kept a guy like Rooney in their hip pocket and pretty much a non-factor, which was outstanding.
  4. Both regressed at PR in the last two seasons. However: In the last two seasons, Hester has averaged 53 receptions and 3 TDs a season at WR, with around 22 yards per KR (38). Roscoe has had over the last two seasons 13.5 receptions and .5 TDs a season at WR in that same span, with 23 yards per KR (13). So, in Hester's case, he's upped his production at WR while losing his edge at KR/PR in TDs and maintaining a healthy KR Average over the two years. In Roscoe's case, he's actually regressed at WR in that two year span, with both having less than stellar OCs. Again, yards are good but TDs are great.
  5. Kelly, You are absolutely right in saying how amazing Roscoe's been for us compared to greats like Upchurch. However, with Hester, while he's ahead of him by a full yard per return, Hester is ahead of him by 4 PR TDs and 4 KR TDS, with Roscoe trailing him by a measly 2 TDs Rec and Running. Not trying to be contrary, but yards are good - TDs are great.
  6. Well Said. And it seems like he's smart enough to show up for the mini-camp portion this weekend, where he can catch up really quickly in a 4 day period to the 2 weeks of 3 day non contact contact. I'm sure he'll be ready for the ole tried and true coach method of punishing someone that isn't at voluntary events by putting him dead last in the rotation too - that crap always annoys me.
  7. But to follow using Buddy's logic - if there weren't any starter-quality players this year available at each pick, what's the point in picking that guy over another person that is similarly talented and can start at another position? And wrt Center position, I don't know what the hate is all about for a guy like Hangartner, who had a rookie to one side and a rookie/cavalcade of street fas to his other all year. I personally thought he did an admirable job, but to each his / her own.
  8. I was going to join into this conversation, but I'm confused as to why Hayden Pana..pana...the chick from Heroes is licking Lord Stanley's Cup. But to the convo at hand, the 10 seconds it took to get this done is what sold me personally like a lot of the posters. Spiller's a good kid Bill and hopefully he will step up.
  9. And one of the things Chris Brown mentioned on Sirius about him was that he had a good release and anticipation, but not the strongest arm in the world...
  10. Just save the time Byrd man and use the ignore feature. Makes the board a whole lot easier to read....
  11. As one poster already mentioned, look at the line that the Dolphins had with Gailey, as well as the lines that Nix helped assemble for Brees (and later Rivers). Don't forget, we still have minicamp, where they can take a look at the vets and see if they're a fit or not - and then decide to trade for / sign an adequate starter or stopgap.
  12. Even though they've switched from the one gap of the Tampa 2, even with Jauron we ran more cover 3 / cover 4 to keep over the top protected. In the 3-4, we can still roll a safety in or have two of them back there in the look of a cover two. In fact, depending on how much Edwards likes to blitz secondary members, we still may be in looks that were similar to last year (however with different results) with stemming moving the shape of the secondary to another look.
  13. And according to Adam Schefter, he flunked the test originally in September, which means his whole season is moot to me. Give it to the Byrd!
  14. Link You forget that he spent time on the practice squad. If he wasn't, he couldn't be allowed to be there, per NFL Rules.
  15. More highlights showing him from hs to now. Not bad.
  16. The Steelers have done it with Timmons and Harrison most recently, putting them at ILB first and then OLB on passing downs. I think we'll do the same with Moats.
  17. I would say Leodis and Spiller back at KR together, with Jackson and Mcgee as backups. at PR, Roscoe and Ellis w/Spiller in bigger situations.
  18. No changes of note save McGee - he's hurt pretty bad and may not start the season. He's recovering pretty slow from the shoulder issue last they mentioned.
  19. At this point, the closer we get to Training Camp without an injury, the more we can lower the price. If anyone goes down in minicamp though, things'll change. Don't forget, now they are also competing with Jamaal Brown possibly being on the block as well too, so that's two quality LTs.
  20. I don't think I can prove or disprove Ralph's intention on selling tickets via Spiller, but I can hopefully give some added points for discussion for Buddy's rationale. Great Buffalo Rumblings Article on Buddy In that article, the author does a great job of continuing an older piece on how Buddy style has been honed under Polian, Butler and Smith. If fact, watching ESPN or the NFL Network during the draft and hearing them discuss how there are two schools of thought in the draft and both are right - the Polian model of letting the pick fall to you (in general) and the Belicheck/Reid model of trading here, there, everywhere and playing the board as much as you can.
  21. Just a follow up on this. If you look at Ed's Espn first take video, it's more of the same as the NFL.com video on the Bills page. However, one thing that struck me was the fact that his parents wouldn't allow him to date until he had a scholarship offer for football in hand. Ironically, he also became the first 16 year old recipient of a VT scholarship! I definitely consider the pressure of being the first Chinese American drafted into the NFL as something that he will not at all take lightly. Almost to a scary level. Here's the Video
  22. Looking at that review, this is to me the funniest part. Saying CJ Spiller makes occasional plays is like say that Roy Williams occasionally drops balls. Most of the draftniks and draft sites spent a majority of Thurs-Sat having "their" picks fall 1-3 picks lower than they thought and have now responded in kind. If the Bills had drafted Clausen in the 2nd round and drafted Cam Thomas in the 3-5th round the Bills would be hailed as kings of the draft. Let's wait for the baby.
