Actually, it behooves Snyder to get a new CBA, as otherwise he cannot get under the cap without gutting the team. With a new CBA in place, he can push off some of the hits he would take, because remember even if he reworks a contract there are still cap penalties, which with the current 2007 uncapped year will be felt this year. In addition, the performance bonuses that most teams pro rate to the next year will be hit this year as well.
Basically, that's a long way of saying, just because he's got cash and can throw it around doesn't mean he's going to fight for an uncapped NFL.
