  1. It was completely unnecessary. Just setup like that to begin with - all that does is allow for illegal motion calls!
  2. What do y'all think? Is it time for the end-around yet? EDIT: How the heck about that? A QB that is too jittery and makes his drops too quickly?
  3. What about the FB in the Trips set and then motioning back there to whiff on Porter? AH Mularkey...
  4. OH SWEET BABY JESUS NO! -or- I think he'll show up a bit, but not to the point to where people will notice he's on...maybe on big nickel packages...
  5. They go by region. If you take a look at some of the pre-draft and post-draft interviews each scout talks about what region they cover.
  6. To be fair, NCAA has rules on the number of coaches a team can have, so him working in the office and coaching as a "volunteer" is a great way to get around that. It's also a way to get into the "queue" as a coach should someone get fired/move/leave/whatever.
  7. Them 8s are going to be flying around like madmen I tells ya! Madmen!
  8. While he is an idiot for saying something like that, I think it's not all his fault. As a Pitt alum, I can feel his pain. Our school's alma mater and Deutschland, Deutschland Uber Alles is the same tune, with a friendly word change here and there...
  9. And toward the end, Willis by his own admission (and if you look at a replay of it) is looking at the JumboTron to see who's behind him, ala Madden. So he's not only spent, but he's also slowing more to make sure he sees where everyone is on the field.
  10. Courtesy of a BB.com board member: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=VE41AFQR NFL Live Highlights of the game - featuring the aforementioned plays.
  11. Nick, I kinda see what you mean - since he's been drafted he's made mention that the NFL in terms of crowds and action doesn't faze him since he played at The Ohio State University. I don't mind it, but I can see how comments like that would rub someone the wrong way.
  12. I love articles like this because, while Saban was a "Belicheck Disciple" Weis and Romeo were hired by Parcells, as well as the great Belicheck, whom some would have you believe just popped into existence during the Patriot Era.
  13. I always think to myself that since Mularkey didn't use Losman to win bets before games throwing into the stands (proving his accuracy and deep ball skills) like Glanville did, he couldn't possibly have been as bad....RIGHT?
  14. OR the fact he spent the first few years in the NFL in a system where: A) He was shuffled amongst 2 other QBs B) His Head coach and the Catholic Church believe in the same amount of protection: none; AND C) The power back that could have helped along his development was traded away, with Spurrier citing, "I don't need him in my offense"
  15. McNally - "Do you know what I'd find in the dictionary if I look up failure?" Pennington - "A picture of me?" McNally - "No, a definition for the word failure, which you are! Go get Gibson a steak before he goes in again!" (Loosely adapted from Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang) But yeah, PS is the way to go. Butler, now there's a different breed 'o cat..
  16. I got a coke that says the 3rd stringers are in. Pennington!!!!!! BoO
  17. MBD, Have they shown anything exotic? More than 3 wide? I've only seen I formation when the 'Network gets around to the Bills.
  18. Rico, I must say I thought about that right after someone mentioned the blocked punt. If he turns out to be Hasselbeck ver. 2 I will thank the Baby Jesus and Marv for the scouting...I can only hope that he does better than the current situation... I have hope for JP and Nall, Holcomb I gotta admit I gave up on after the Jets debacle.
  19. Good googly moogly... But it is the first game, they can tune things up.
  20. Max, are you talking about the pick or the injury? Cuz the injury just came on - I saw the pick.
  21. Reggie Fest 2k6 is on the NFL Network so I don't think we'll see anything unless something major happens.
