  1. Lets say the opponent runs out of an i-form set. You have potentially 7 blockers on the play: All 5 OL, TE, FB. Even if all 3 linemen ate up 2 blockers (which is unrealistic), you still are going to need the initial linebacker to shed a block. It's unrealistic to think that each member of a 3-4 DLine is going to take up two blockers on each play. Ideally, what you're looking for is 3 players who will eat up all five offensive linemen, and middle linebackers with the ability to avoid & shed blocks from TEs, FBs, etc, to be able to make tackles. That's how the Steeler defense works anyway.
  2. No response to his point?
  3. I think you keep Whitner aorund for a while longer for the sake of not creating more holes. There's lots of more important needs (like almost the entire front-7), and while he's not a standout, he does his job. If you keep Poz, it has to be with the plan that he's depth and not a starter.
  4. One of the other ways these companies make money is by putting an expiration date on bid purchases.
  5. The city's in a state of emergency, and roads all over the place are closed. The NFL is looking out for fan safety with this move. IMO, they made the right decision, letting the fans that bought tickets to the game get there and enjoy it safely.

  8. Median # of points through week 16 this year: 15 Median # of points through week 16 last year: 15 Last year, when the Bills scored 30+ points, rush yards made up 50.55% of the Bills offense. This year, the make up 33% of the yards. Passing = more exciting and fun, for sure. The offense is less balanced though in the games they score at on. However, a good passing game can get you more yards. The Bills topped 500 total yards off offense against the Ravens, something they didn't do last year.
  9. lol, I was wondering if you would see that post
  10. I haven't heard anything about this.
  11. It's him. They were talking about him tweeting on Sirius yesterday.
  12. Yep, thats the one. They have a chicken blend too.
  13. Have you tried the pre-blended montreal steak and montreal chicken spice blends? They're some of my favorites, and since it's pre-blended, you just rub and grill! I love them.
  14. So a Q&A type thread would be cool? Is there anything you do on a day-to-day basis for your players that is lesser known (aka outside of Contract Negotiations, PR man, & sponsorship deals)?
  15. IPA FTW! Merry Christmas.
  16. I definitely agree that QB isn't near our top need anymore. I was pretty convinced of that early on this year.
  17. Was just sayin' that the line stayed pretty stable all week, don't think it shrank much.
  18. I couldn't tell whether he was trying to celebrate or knew he had some space and wanted to make sure time had fully run out on the clock. When he was looking backwards, he wasn't looking at the Giants player, but downfield.
  19. Alright, I change my mind. With only a 4 mil contract next year (including roster bonus), I think it's pretty clear that you keep him. Even if he does put up the production he got this year, and is mostly just a way to take coverage away from other receivers, it's completely worth it at that price.
  20. It was +5.5 at Harrah's casinos from the second they posted it.
  21. Aaaaand the finals is Dustin vs Tag. Funny how that works out.
  22. It was a front-loaded contract? Oh wow, it was, great move by the Bills: http://www.rotoworld.com/content/playerpages/player_contract.aspx?sport=NFL&id=26 Nice point!
  23. I find it more likely that the young player didn't execute. The thing that this discussion ignores though is the rest of the time. Perry's D collapsed at the end. Sucks, too, because they had done such a good job all game, and I would have liked to see him do well. The game is more on the D than it is special teams.
  24. Not with Moulds! I could very well be wrong, it's hard to really get a good idea on TV with camera angles a lot of times. The times I've seen him, though, he hadn't done much more than draw double-teams on long routes. On a lot of the plays that Fitz went underneath on, I don't really recall ever going "lee was the right choice! wtf!" I do completely agree that the Bills need a deep threat, no matter who that guy is. I also hope they'll get a decent TE too, even if its not a superstar, because they don't really have a threat there either.
  25. That album's going pretty cheap on eBay. $7 including shipping: http://cgi.ebay.com/BLAME-CHRISTMAS-VOL-1-17-WEIRD-YULETIDES-CD-/380297289843
