Sean Combs lawsuits *update-now indicted
Bill from NYC replied to TBBills Fan's topic in Off the Wall
So was Epstein. When the big boys really want you ain't looking good my friend. Look at what is going on today, and btw, I doubt if Ghislaine Maxwell lasts much longer. Do you think she will live long enough to write a tell all book? I'm surprised they didn't get to her yet tbh. -

My guess is that one of three things will happen: 1) He will ahem "commit suicide" in prison or be coincidently be murdered. 2) He will go to trial and buy his way into an aquittal. 3) His lawyers will tell him that he is sure to lose and he will talk and name names, and I do mean prominent names. My guess is #2. He is said to have big time political and Hollywood connections. What say you? -
Nebraska’s downfall will be studied for generations
Bill from NYC replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in College Football
Agreed, especially wrt Texas. They seem to have unlimited money, and Sarkisian is a GREAT coach. I consider him to be one of the great offensive minds in all of football, college and pros. Btw, the Arch Maning mania is quite premature imo. If Ewers doesn't come back, I don't expect Texas to win the title. Jmo. -
After the very good draft of 2001, productive drafts for us were few and far between. A case can be made that our next productive draft came in 2017, and even at that McDermott traded away the pick for Mahomes. 2009 was decent but remember, this was the year that they foolishly traded away Jason Peters, a GREAT LT. Gilmore and Glenn were productive players in the 2012 draft, but they missed out on the QBs that were named above. Other than that, it's hard (at least for me) to find a Bills draft to get excited about pre 2017. I don't think that many young fans know how much we suffered during the drought years.

EJ was a terrible QB for us, but he is very good and informative on the Sirius College Sports Channel, and sounds like a smart, nice guy.

Anyone down to help me with a football pool at work?

I think that the Lions are great. I picked them before the season to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl. They should win easily imo. -
They say that all good things must end someday Autumn leaves must fall But don't you know that it hurts me so To say goodbye to you? Wish you didn't have to go No, no, no, no And when the rain beats against my window pane I'll think of summer days again And dream of you

Non Bill, unheralded, under the radar favorite player.

I also place Curtis Martin in the class of a "statistics compiler." I am NOT saying that he wasn't very good, because he was. I just think that his greatest asset was endurance. Of course, jmo. -
Sly look that we keep the promise, ladies And make me get off Take it from girls with our imagination So we can get off Call me up at your place, I can love you crazy In the heat you will understand Danger and excitement, that's what makes a lady Find out what she wants in a man

Here is a Hall of Fame LB. It took him forever to get inducted. I was very young when he played but I always thought that he was great. He was one of the best LBs I ever saw play, easily in the top 10 imo. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Brazile -

Not really under the radar but Davonta Smith. He's not the biggest or the fastest wr, but he is spectacular. What he could do with Josh Allen throwing to him is unthinkable. -
A Grateful Dead song by perhaps the greatest living guitarist. It doesn't get much better than this imo.......

As I said before, as a Crimson Tide fan, Tua is one of my favorite non-Bill players, and perhaps one of the nicest people in sports by all accounts. That said, I never want to see him play another down. He probably should have retired before this incident. Still, I have no sympathy for the Dolphins and I'd love to see Jaylen Waddle escape from Miami, perhaps to Buffalo for a few high draft choices. I can dream, can't I?

I see that worried look upon your face You've got your troubles, I've got mine She's found somebody else to take your place You've got your troubles, I've got mine I too have lost my love today All of my dreams have flown away

I have watched Tua and have been a fan of his since he threw his first pass at Alabama, let alone when he threw the best game winning, clutch TD pass I for one have ever seen. There is no team or player that I am capable of rooting for against the Bills and this includes Tua, but by ALL accounts; the man is a wonderful person. Nick Saban once said that HE is more polite just from having been around Tua. I wish that he retired before this horrible injury and hope to NEVER see him play football again. I pray that he heals 100% and goes on to enjoy his life, because this is more important than football. Get better Tua and God bless.

I know this super highway This bright familiar sun I guess that I'm the lucky one Who wrote that tired sea song Set on this peaceful shore You think you've heard this one before Well the danger on the rocks is surely past Still I remain tied to the mast Could it be that I have found my home at last Home at last

Everybody's smoking, and no one's getting high Everybody's flying, and never touch the sky There's UFO's over New York, and I ain't too surprised Nobody told me there'd be days like these Nobody told me there'd be days like these Nobody told me there'd be days like these Strange days indeed Most peculiar, Mama

When Alabama was the National Champion in 2021 they had what I consider to be one of the best teams in college football history, especially on offense. That said, there was NO WAY that they could have beat the worst team in the NFL, and I even posted this at the time. College teams just cannot defeat NFL teams.

Tyreek Hill apparently arrested this morning…

You make excellent points that are quite fair. Nobody says that you have to adore police officers but acting like a mature adult when dealing with them will almost always produce better results. -

It's true. Josh will be considered an all time great in the future. His talent is virtually unmatched and unlimited. -
Boys - take it right on down to the gator Oh boys - gotta take a side elevator Can't you hear those hip cats call Come on boys let's have a ball The jip-jam-jump is a jumpin' jive Makes you dig your jive on the mellow side The jip-jam-jump is a solid jive Makes you nine foot tall when you're four foot five
