I think there would be a conflict of interest in being the coach of a college football team and part owner of an NFL team. Could someone in that position stash talent on the college football team to be hidden from other teams and then end up on the Browns?

While he looked good at times, I saw Merriman get dominated at the point of attack on more than one occasion. I understand that that happens from time-to-time, however, a good football player will never give up on a play, which is what I saw Merriman a number of times. He, along with the rest of the team, were great against the run. LB's made some great plays to back up the D-Line's effort.

I love Gruden on MNF....best broadcast team in sports IMHO....but is it enough for Gruden to live vicariously through the players that he covers, or does he still have a thirst to be a coach again? He is still young, so I wouldn't discount a return to the sidelines.

One thing I know Bellichek would do would place an emphasis on addressing the TE position. They've had a ton of talent at that position throughout the years, and they always seem to do well against the Bills. I like Chandler, however, would he be the same player if he wasn't in Chan's system? Guys like Hernandez and Gronkowski are GOOD no matter where they would play.

Still without power in Philly. I live right in the city in a neighborhood called Northern Liberties, which is slightly north of Old City and right on the water. The power went out at 7pm on Monday night. PECO says that we have to call back this afternoon just to get an estimate on what time it may come back on. Because we live on a small, tertiary road and only a dozen or so homes have been affected, we have been warned that it could be a few more days until we finally get it back on. This pales in comparison to the Queens blackout of 2006, where I was without power for 10 days. It ran concurrently to a heat wave, which made living conditions unbearable.

Absolutely. If you take into account not only what he has been able to accomplish in the MLB, but also what he did during his career in Japan, there is no doubt he is a 1st ballot HOF.

Thanks Pooj! Life is definitely good. Unfortunately, there is no older woman to provide updates for anymore. Hectic schedules during the week and weekends prevented us from doing anything more. Sadly, because I was really attracted to her on a number of different levels. I haven't put it to rest forever because I do plan on reaching out to her when things settle down a little bit.
