Is Gabe Davis a trade candidate?
Fan in Chicago replied to transplantbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall
I am honestly blanking out. Who were you referring to? Or are you saying the Bills have already checked and haven't found anyone? I was only picking up on the question whether is a trade candidate. -
Belichick on the hot seat in N.E.

imo, Belichick's problem isn't the quality of his coaching. Its his track record of drafts which had his fingerprints on them -
Is Gabe Davis a trade candidate?

As this thread is about hypotheticals... If another team has a malcontent WR with a better catch %, I wouldnt mind trading Davis and a 2024 draft pick to get him. -
Shakir's dropsies are concerning to say the least. Dude better get his head and hand-eye coordination in place.

Sean Payton on Broncos 2022 Season - Wow
Fan in Chicago replied to Beck Water's topic in The Stadium Wall
Talk about being candid and open! Of course Hackett has to be blamed but someone in that organization interviewed him, looked at his track record and still thought he is worthy of being a HC. I also blame the idiots who hired him into that position -
So would your SO

Training Camp opens today! 2023 Season is upon us!
Fan in Chicago replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
As will Allen's casual, nonchalant and unfocused look which clearly tells us he is not all-in. Diggs is all business with no time for jokes and smiles. -
OJ?

Terrible for Hines, speedy recovery to him Does this mean we now get the other Cook?
-
No he wasn't very good the previous season
-
I like the kid. I was skeptical before last season but in the games I watched, he did look competent and managed the offense well. He had a superior supporting cast but that doesn't mean he isn't good. Of course he had to prove that last year was not a fluke but he appears to be hard working and is tough not to cheer for him if he is not playing the Bills. And not every evaluation has to meander into a comparison with Allen. He can be not at the same level of Mahomes, Allen and Burrow but still be considered a good QB

Good for him but he can't play any more. The Giants signed him but that doesn't mean he is a big part of their plans. This will be his last gasp and will be out of the league after that
-
He will do that before the season. NY media will ask him and he will gladly comply and grin through his remaining 4 front teeth

What the heck are you and @Prospector babbling about?

Agree on @GunnerBill There is no debate and no need to add more words Additional shoutouts @HoofHearted and @Buffalo716 For informed analysis @Kirby Jackson For returning to post at least occasionally @Beck Water (I know it is your thread BADOL but still) For research @BADOLBILZ For player analysis and lot of data (except when you get snarky but the above self-sarcasm was good) @Simon To always have the whip handy @SDS Just because we all exist

Very cool story. I did like this part "“I enjoyed the conversation we had about coaching, life and just living,” Guenther told The Buffalo News on Monday. “He’s a great person and fantastic" If one gets to spend time with a gentleman coach of your favorite team, do not make the coach regret the decision. The above is exactly what I would have talked to the coach about. Let the conversation come to you as opposed to forcing it in an uncomfortable direction. The guy is being nice and not standing at a press conference.

Josh buys modest beach house in SoCal

Good for him. Look at it as an investment. Better to buy a house in a premium market than sink the money in some startup or crypto. -
Hopkins released by Arizona (7/16: signed by Titans)
Fan in Chicago replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
Your concerns are fair. I am certainly interested in how he performs this season with better blocking, a presumed higher importance to the run game and addition of Kincaid. The team also loaded up on volume of WR between FA and the draft. If we hit on even one of those, the skill talent will be one of the best Allen has had. I hope he hasn't lost that edge and the relentless drive to win. -

Couple of thoughts - I am willing to give players leeway in the off season to recuperate body and mind so his golfing and dating doesn't particularly concern me. But yes, there are a LOT of hours in a day and he can do the above while still honing his skills and practicing with his key receivers. I don't have information one way or another if he is doing it this off-season - undoubtedly adding more talent wont hurt. In the case of Hopkins, despite the concerns, he is a piece at a position of need where we should take a risk. The downside is not awful and at worst we are status quo. In the drought years, I wouldn't have advocated this move but we need to add any piece which provides that little advantage over the Chiefs and Bengals of the world -

I understand your concerns. And may I note for others that you were correct about JJ Watt when several in here (to a certain extent me as well) wanted him on the Bills. Hopkins will be a risk but one worth taking in a SB year. If he agrees to the money Beane has pegged him at, let us get him. Worst case, a confluence of bad things which you list may happen. But there is also a fair probability that he wont get into trouble and provide the edge that will help us win critical games. The number of snaps need to be managed. But overall, I just think the team should go in with eyes wide open and swing for the fences.
