If the Bears aren't totally sold on Fields, they should draft a QB with the top pick. Doubling down is better than hitching the entire wagon to Fields and missing on a rare chance of drafting #1
-
Makes for better headlines. I know where you are coming from - in a corporate environment, mutual separation is the standard statement.
-
Imo, Vrabel will go to a team which already has a high potential QB or in position to draft one high. He will not make the same mistake of rotating cast away QBs.

Ed Oliver is playing out of his mind this season

That he was not selected for the ProBowl loudly and definitively speaks to the process of selection. Utter trash. -

When I saw his passes in a couple of games, they looked lazy and wobbly to me. Dude had a strong arm when he came into the NFL but in games this year, it looked average to weak. But now that you said it, I went looking https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/how-the-steelers-mason-rudolph-has-completely-turned-around-the-offense-kept-pittsburgh-in-the-playoff-race/ "Rudolph throws deep with a moon-ball style, giving his receivers plenty of time to field the football and adjust to it before making a play. He understands with that high-arcing trajectory that the ball has to be thrown early in the down to avoid safeties ranging to help the corner. " -

With Rudolph throwing and 30-50 mph winds, there is no need to defend the perimeters or the medium to deep zones. Just stack the box and bring up a safety. I am having visions of Rudolph attempting a medium depth pass and the wind taking it for a ride. The trajectory of that ball will be quite amusing -
I speculate that Vrabel becoming available will accelerate Kraft's decision regarding BB. If Kraft was on the fence, he needs to make up his mind quickly. Vrabel is the best candidate available and should prefer a Pats job due to his history

Quite the score prediction if FGs wont be attempted. -
No way Belichick goes to work for an ego maniac like Jerry Jones

I agree. I have been anticipating him having a terrible game and the WC one may be it. Maybe I should hope for the Bills running into the Browns so we can beat the snot out of him

Wild Card Weekend - Wild Card Weather

Harris will have to be contained as well as protecting against any big plays by Pickens. But I am gaining much confidence in McD's defensive schemes and am not too worried about the Steelers offense scoring too many points. Understood about their D - that is cause for concern. If there is bad weather, Tomlin may go the Belichick route and run 50 times Get well soon, both of you -

Bummer. Playing this out now and based on my recent experience, you should see symptoms for 3 days and then start recovering. Then you should be testing negative by Friday. I understand you being respectful of your friends' health, but you should be still okay to see the game live. No? Granted it would be much more fun to laugh at your Steelers friends as their team is getting trampled ( I really think this will be a blowout unless the weather forces teams to be conservative in the passing game) -
I thought it was very classy and respectful of Josh Allen to walk around the stadium to acknowledge the Bills fans. He even put his palms together as a thank you. How can one not absolutely love this dude?

My guess is that with your two favorite teams playing this weekend, you aren't doing much of anything till Sunday. Except stomping the ground in excitement. Amirite? -
Unsolicited friendly advice - When someone more knowledgeable about football then you disagrees with your take, it's better off to concede and stand down. It has served me well.

In the first half game thread, you will find plenty of posters calling him a liability, he stinks, holds the team back etc. So yes, those are the specific haters who need to check their knowledge of the game and value what we have in JA

No huddle doesn't mean no running
-
Nope. We play better in the hurry up
-
Let's open the 2nd half with no huddle. Let Josh just feel the game and play with his instincts
-
"can't throw it in the field of play. Have to throw in the EZ .... Josh too aggressive" McD didn't sound happy
