  1. So let me the first to start this thought. If Tuel plays decently enough to beat the Pats* and EJ is ready after that game, who starts game 2?
  2. Another good site for cables is http://www.bluejeanscable.com/
  3. But who do you think will start ? Okay So you think Tuel will be more ready than EJ ?
  4. This poll is about as simple as it gets. I want to see who TBD predicts will start against NE in Game 1. This is not about who should start or who you want to start . This is about who you think will start. I want EJ to start but think that Kolb will start (Marrone may take the safe way out against a division rival). So I vote Kolb. Have at it.
  5. Could be a psychological tactic on the Bills part. basically to say that 'you signed the tender but you are not God. We will keep doing whatever we need to for improving the team (keep roster spot open). Also, just because you now stride into OBD, we are not automatically going to kiss the ground you walk on." I think this sets up future negotiations with Parker and Byrd. All IMHO ofcourse.
  6. Fair enough. But I was using this extreme example to express how sad and disgusted I feel about the general apathy of the teens. Granted I am stereo-typing but I live in a middle-class suburb (Carol Stream which you may know) and see public places devoid of children involved in outdoor activities. When my kids were younger, they would indeed play outside. But things changed over the past 5-8 years with the proliferation of electronic technology. Maybe things will loop back around and the kids will eventually see the light. I think we will see interpersonal skills reducing drastically over time. Which will mean that the people who are good at interacting with others and being social will be at a premium - both personally and professionally. As we move to a more service oriented industry, these abilities will be required at an increasing pace. Anyway, Exiled and Gordio, as I said, this is a great conversation to be had face to face and not necessarily here on a message board.
  7. Very very classy. Other ex-Bills should take note (yea I am looking at you Peters, Whitner)
  8. I will be surprised if TJ is cut unless there are some issues we are unaware of. The earlier camp reports said he was having a great camp and has likely taken the next step. Also, we are woefully light on NFL experience at the WR position. Besides Stevie, Brad Smith is the only one with much to speak of. Then there is TJ. On talent and potential, IMHO, TJ gets another year at least. Having said that, if the coaches think highly of the remaining WRs and if a trade nets us a good LB or OL, I will support a trade.
  9. She has fake b00bs. Fakes are a turn off. Give me some smaller but naturals ones anyday.
  10. Marginally better than the original statement which simply made no sense. However, I would say the coach should play whoever gives us the best chance to win more games this season.
  11. This is a great subject to be discussed with good friends over a beer. My (brief) take is that society has changed drastically over the past 20 years. Kids are raised in a hyper-stimulated environment where it is considered necessary for them to be 'doing something'. As a child, if the if a child is sitting with his toys, parents may think ' oh he has nothing to do, put on the tv for him'. Then it is tablet PCs or phone or internet. CONstant stimulation to a point where a grown up kid is always expecting to be 'doing something'. Contrast that with 30 years back when I grew up. If I sat around, I would find something to do such as read, play with friends, call a friend for long conversations, hang out with friends, go for walks etc. I suppose I may have been 'bored' a lot but people around us never made a big deal of it and parents didnt label it as boredom. They did not think that it was their obligation to 'do something about it'. Yet, these days there is a terrible malady of said 'boredom' which leads to undesirable pursuits such as alcohol, drugs, violence etc. This current situation is really really sad in that the value of a human life has been reduced to a few minutes of 'entertainment' where kids cannot distinguish real life from video games or movies. I am not going to blame guns or parenting on this. That is a different discussion.
  12. Curse you. In a single post, you took away the fun we have been having. You, sir, are a Tuel. But seriously, Kolb getting first team reps is a fact. Him starting the final two preseason games seems to be the writer's speculation.
  13. Maybe more as a 'whats the worst that can happen' situation
  14. Sounds like a Sheppard-for-Hughes level swap.
  15. Just got an update on Facebook. Lindell has been released. Thanx for your service.
  16. I am wondering if it is prudent for Tuel to be the starter for the Skins game. Kolb started the last one. I am torn on this one because game 3 is supposed to be the biggest preseason game. That works for the Bills as well as for the Skins. Based on history (albeit in a different offense) , TC and the Vikes game, coaches have more material on Kolb than on Tuel. If Tuel starts the last preseason, it wont provide much information because the Lions may not play the starters and we wont know anything about Tuel's abilities. The coaches see these guys in camp everyday and can obviously diagnose the situation more than we fans can. But, if camp performance is close for Kolb and Tuel, I vote for Tuel to start vs the Skins. Watdya think ?
  17. Btw, thanx. Good to have a real doc on board to reduce speculation and provide medical insight.
  18. I was commenting on how he was maligned on this board last year for calling out the Bills D (which we soon realized was malign-worthy)
  19. Those who will make the case that EJ is playing against Minny's second string will do well to be reminded that EJ is playing with the seconds on O also.
  20. what is with the refs and flags tonight ???
  21. Good half for the Bills. D set the tone. Point to Ponder 5/12-53-0
  22. Maybe Marrone puts Manuel in with 0.51 on the clock
