  1. Some of Bridgewater's throws are head scratchers. Who is he throwing to?
  2. Why are the Falcons not making a more serious effort to run the ball? Looking one dimensional so far
  3. Too early to tell. Maybe a rare win-win trade considering how good Whaley is with acquiring LB talent
  4. Now I know why I felt guilty celebrating and feeling elated since yesterday
  5. Bradford looking terrible so far. Bad accuracy, O out of sync
  6. Kiko with a EZ INT. What an athletic play!
  7. One point doesnt a trend make, but if we beat them, fairly and squarely this Sunday, the doubt in their mind will be quite important as they meet again down the road (hopefully fighting for the AFCE crown). Or maybe I am getting too far ahead of myself.
  8. Maybe I shouldn't have extrapolated "I'm glad she lost" to hating
  9. Its going to be a long long time before it happens. Other people with raised expectations make you hate Serena ?? I like Djokovic mainly because of the way he plays the game, is gracious and has a sense of humor. Last night, he displayed tremendous calm and composure which really made him the victor. Any lesser opponent would have been skewered last night, the way Federer was playing - the physical and the mental aspects. I really dislike Federer and the main reason is that he was a smug, arrogant, almost condescending player in his heyday before the likes of Nadal and Djokovic brought him down to earth.
  10. Fair enough - take them out and there were still too many IMHO. I like the tackling discipline and general ball security, which both point to good coaching. But penalties are things which should be largely controllable.
  11. Problem is that, they have looked beatable in the past yet they dont get beaten often. Heartening to know that we beat them with a Marrone coached team last year. So this year *should* be better. Along with Brady, I want to shut down Gronk because all the ****washing that goes on for him is sickening (although I will grudgingly admit it is justified). Better not look past your next opponent, no matter how lowly they look
  12. Thanx for the thoughts. I never hope for physical injury, but I wouldnt mind hurting Brady's psyche, get in his head and under his skin. His irritated look on the sideline close to a loss is prettier than any cheerleaders' legs.
  13. I can pick nits all day long, but this is my single biggest complaint from yesterday. Ryan's teams have a penchant for penalties and while they didnt hurt us yesterday, they definitely will in close games. One way or the other, this better not be a chronic issue with the team
  14. Disagree. In the preseason games, dude showed potential of catching the medium stuff also. he can catch and he can run - which is one more than TJ ever did. Goodwin's only issue is his durability. One of the most underappreciated movies ever.
  15. Bash the Pats* for whatever else you want, but I don't recall them having too many letdown games. They do forget what happened the previous weekend. So I still root for the Steelers to beat them and the Bills to pound them even harder
  16. A 7 page thread says several of us care including you and me.
  17. Yikes ! Not a good reflection on Kaep. I think the 49ers will have a terrible year.
  18. I agree that the Pats** will win, but the poll was about who you want to win.
  19. Okay, own up - who is the single person rooting for the pats** ? Mr. WEO, pneumonic or some other spy ? Its Yolo's poll and he can do whatever he wants
  20. I agree with the bolded part but will disagree on the remaining. All said and done, not worth your or my time arguing over this.
  21. Ignoring all the other baseless things you said, let me ask you - do you honestly believe what you just typed re:Maybin ?
  22. Considering that he has been in the league for a few years, learned behind a superbowl winning QB and worked his way to the starting role, I would use those as lead indicators and rank him ahead of Winston and Mariotta who have done none of the above things. As it stands right now, they could become Peyton Manning or Ryan Leaf/JaMarcus Russell
