  1. A QB, any time a good one is available.
  2. You are not too bad yourself, unlike a few around here As you have volatility raised the level of OL analysis, I hold you to a higher standard. So take my criticism in that light.
  3. Your OL analysis is very good. I think if you had given a more solid response to why you chose to omit the negative TT plays towards the end of the game, the discussion could have gotten smoother. As you obviously put in a lot more work than me or most people here, you deserve kudos. But along with thoughtful analysis comes a burden of being totally objective regarding all aspects you are commenting on. As an example, no one would take you to task for defensive breakdowns as you do not analyze those. But when you specifically look for QB performance and in the past have taken pains to analyze both EJ and TT, it is only fitting that you look at the overall performance by TT. As another example, if memory serves me correctly, you had glowing reviews of his second half performance in the first Pats* game, which almost resulted in a comeback win. By that token, TT's performance should be judged till the final whistle in the Chiefs game as well.
  4. Which only us a case against his supposed genius in the defensive department. Schwartz came in for Pettine and our overall D got better. Ryan was supposed to do more with less but in fact is doing less with more. How is he a genius?
  5. I ask this with all seriousness - in what way? Our record isn't better, our D is worse, in game management is worse... All that is better is that press conferences are more colorful
  6. Didn't sound like he is taking responsibility for yesterday's coaching mistakes. And really, if you see his responses, they are the plain Jane, garden variety Jauronic answers just expressed more impressively. In short, he states the obvious but the following week is more of the same
  7. Like who? And I argue that TT isn't the type of QB to be a game manager either
  8. I ask myself this question several times and am sad at the answer 'Are we better today than we werea year ago?'I should stop talking to myself
  9. Carrington flashed some potential in the year before he left for Pittsburgh. But this is really his big chance. Also, on the flip side, given Mario's underwhelming year so far, it will be real interesting to see how the D performs without him
  10. I dislike your constant negativity, but this is one post I agree with. And I agreed with FireChan and BillsVet. All in one post ! What is wrong with me ?
  11. Hey, the organization has ignored the check-QB light for a decade. Its in the culture
  12. Would be good to start with the correct spelling
  13. But this is not his first bad game. He has probably played two complete games this year and in the remaining games, has looked lost for several quarters. I would like to have seen some improvement but against the Pats*, with little pressure in his face, he was staring down receivers and looking generally indecisive. Several throws were off the mark even when not pressured. Not a good sign.
  14. Especially when we are leading with -7
  15. Exactly. They think 2 scores is more than enough
  16. Probably not after all the ref payoffs
  17. I am pretty sure it was a bad spot. Looked to me that his forward progress was at the sticks
  18. Good question. Still not too many passes in the middle
  19. Look at it again. The catch would have been made but not for a td
  20. Maybe he too pulled up when he heard the whistle. Gruden behaving as if the whistle cost them a TD but I think that Darby gave up due to the whistle
  21. Very very important offensive drive coming up. Need to keep our D off the field, and get a score. Any score
  22. I need to refresh my knowledge of intentional grounding
