  1. Law enforcement is having similar issues with a 400-lb mafioso nicknamed "the Cheeseman" who was bagged for bribing a government official. They made him wear an electronic bracelet so he can spend his confinement at home, but the fatass is whining because it doesn't allow him to get out and exercise. A poll of newspaper readers had the majority vote at: put his ass in prison and let him sweat it off there. http://www.bostonherald.com/news/regional/...ticleid=1114199
  2. You must have missed Kevin Garnett speaking in tongues after the last game.
  3. I completely agree. If he had dedicated as much time to studying offenses and working out as he does to partying and chasing tail, he'd be a starter. http://www.bumpshack.com/2008/04/01/matt-l...i-party-photos/ http://deadspin.com/373940/matt-leinart-is...quite-seriously http://www.trojanwire.com/football/matt-le...ottsdale-az.php
  4. If I never hear Sharpe or these other tools on the NFL Network again, it will be too soon. Man, they are dreadful.
  5. That collision on the kick off was like a car wreck!
  6. That was hysterical. Lorenzen had a look on his face like Augustus Gloop when he got sucked up the chocolate tube!
  7. ESPNnews is reporting than an MRI revealed torn ligaments. Umenyiora is done for the year. Newark Star Ledger reports this as well.
  8. The Orchard Park Town Board on Wednesday approved construction of a Tim Hortons outlet at 3878 Southwestern Blvd. near Abbott Road. The planning board had recommended approval of the 3,080-square-foot building, situated on a lot slightly smaller than one acre. The site will have "queuing" capacity for the drive-through line, reducing spillover onto the street that interferes with traffic, officials said. http://www.buffalonews.com/258/story/419912.html?imw=Y Damn. Wish they had Timmy Ho's where I live. It's nothing but Charbucks and Dunkin Blownuts.
  9. Anal fissures can make it hard to walk.
  10. Yeah, I know sugar coated cereal isn't good for me. But I, for one, am sick of other people telling me what I can or cannot eat. They are talking about a law to ban trans fats in restaurants here in M!@#$chusetts. Stupid. The best fried clams you can get here are deep fried in lard. Yes, LARD. Do people eat them every single day? No. But when they do, they should have the option. Not everything tastes good fried in canola oil. If you look at the rest of Michael Phelps diet, it isn't considered healthy by the food nazis, but it hasn't hurt him at all. LET PEOPLE MAKE THEIR OWN CHOICES.
  11. USA Today is confirming this also. http://www.usatoday.com/sports/football/nf...21-upshaw_N.htm I think there are a significant number of retired football players who aren't taking this as bad news. I hope changes to the union will come in their favor. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2893714
  12. How long before the Boston media blames Brady's spending off-season world traveling with Gisele instead of training with his teammates if his foot continues to be a problem into the season?
  13. Haven't seem much from Omon, but can't tell how much of that is the patchwork O-line.
  14. It was probably the first bath that dumbass has had in years.
  15. How do you think Jesse Owens, Wilma Ruldolph, Bob Beamon, and players on the 1980 US hockey team became household names in the first place? Performing above and beyond expectations in the olympics. What do you think Jason Lezak did when he came from behind and beat the world record holder in this race?
  16. I so wish I could post images here. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v469/Nuf...ter29052069.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v93/mabr...rdloses4x-2.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v93/mabr...dloses4x100.jpg
  17. The trailer has been on You Tube for a few months. They based it on the book The Elmira Express about Ernie Davis. It looks like it's going to be a good movie, and I think it's important for people to know what the first black heisman trophy winner had to go through to play. They clearly take poetic license however. I don't think Coach Ben Schwartzwalder what that much of an equal rights crusader. In fact, there was a group of black players who boycotted spring practice in 1970 because they felt football Coach Schwartzwalder and his coaching staff didn't give them equal academic support and medical care and wanted the university to hire a black assistant coach. I'm an SU grad, so I think I'll see the movie, regardless.
  18. Another thing to note is that for the first time in a long time he was completely dedicated to the Packers' off-season training program before putting up career numbers last year. This year, not so much. Throwing footballs to local high school kids after months of semi-retirement this off-season doesn't compare. He even admitted he was "a little out of shape." I will be very surprised if he stays injury-free this season and starts every game.
  19. And I, for one, can't get enough Sabres news. I like the new look!
  20. Well, this explains Silver's comments on Wilson: he thinks Robert Kraft and Jerry Jones are the top two owners in the NFL. He just wuvs em! http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news;_ylt=AlUh...o&type=lgns
  21. Do you have to pat the bottle three times before you pop the cork?
  22. He's a football player -- not a brain surgeon. Yeesh. What a dumbass.
  23. I guess I am naive when it comes to pain killer addiction. I'm sorry to hear anyone on this board ever had to get them in that amount. But I still suspect Kaczur got off lightly because he was a pro athlete, a first time offender, and he sang like a bird to law enforcement.
  24. While that may be true in some cases, do you think that's the case with a pro athlete? Was Farve's pill habit that bad?
