Pats fans douchebaggery has no limit...
Golden Wheels replied to GoBillsDB's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Here are Wilfork's moronic quotes: http://www.boston.com/sports/football/patr...wilfork/?page=2 Can you believe that bull crap? I guess he's conventiently forgotten that he THREW AN ELBOW AT LOSMAN'S KNEE. I can't wait for the payback on the Patriots to begin. I hope every team they play stomps them like grapes. -
Where is the love from the National Media?
Golden Wheels replied to DIE HARD 1967's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I thought Don Banks' article at SI.com was a bit positive. Regarding Brady's injury: http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2008/writ...ex.html?eref=T1 Tim Graham ESPN: http://myespn.go.com/blogs/afceast/0-3-49/...mpacts-AFC.html Let the mainstream media fellate Favre and the Jets for now. They will call them the second coming after they beat New England Sunday. Maybe they'll all stand up and take notice when the Bills beat NY. -
The Bills' improved run defense is going to be key next Sunday in Jacksonville. One of the reasons the Titans beat the Jags yesterday was holding Fred Taylor and Maurice Drew to only 33 rushing yards. Jacksonville has injuries to three of their starters on the OL, and they had to be affected mentally by the shooting of Richard Collier. Stroud and company could take advantage of a makeshift line. http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=jc-j...o&type=lgns David Garrard was sacked 7 times yesterday, so Schobel and Kelsay should be able to pressure him.

My bad

I wish you could be in Boston today. They are talking on sports radio like someone died. The tv stations keep showing replays of the injury like it was the Zapruder film. I don't wish a serious injury on anyone, even Tom Brady. What I take joy in is knowing that the classless jerks who have been smack talking for years are now faced with the reality that their team's season has gone down the shitter. And this was no surprise -- I didn't see a single Patriots hat or shirt or jacket on the train today.

Was Hardy on the field at all yesterday?
Golden Wheels replied to Tolstoy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
At first I was kind of disappointed that I didn't get the chance to see McKelvin return a kick, then I reminded myself it was because the Seahawks were having to punt so much. Roscoe's 120 yards in punt returns is a new team record. -
That's why Wilfork got fined, and Pollard won't. Losman had already thrown the ball when Wilfork dove at his knees and elbowed him ; Brady still had posession of the ball when Sammy Morris blocked Pollard into him. For the Patriot fans with a short memory. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3POT8n2Qk3g

Adam Schefter reporting Brady tore ACL and MCL
Golden Wheels replied to lets_go_bills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You're right. I just did a search and found something called a lachman test that a doctor or trainer can perform while manipulating the leg. OK. My question was answered. This could be Patriot Nation's biggest nightmare come true. -
ESPN had a clip of Randy Moss ranting in the post game presser that it was a dirty hit on Brady. Where was that righteous indignation when Wilfork took out JP?

Adam Schefter reporting Brady tore ACL and MCL
Golden Wheels replied to lets_go_bills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm serious when I say this: can doctors really tell from manipulating a guy's knee that his ligaments are torn? Doesn't it take an MRI? BTW, it must be killing Belichick that there are so many "inside sources" spreading the news. -
A pass on the first play from the line of scrimmage? That made me smile. How many times last year were other teams just waiting for that run up the middle? Glad to see the screen pass is back in the playbook too.

Adam Schefter reporting Brady tore ACL and MCL
Golden Wheels replied to lets_go_bills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't know how people can "report" this when Brady hasn't had an MRI yet. -
A blind, syphilitic, retarded deaf mute could do a better job than Greg Robinson. Not that I'm bitter The thought of leaving the decision of who the new coach should be with Darryl Gross makes me want to puke chunks. Wake up Chancellor Cantor!

Remember that episode of Star Trek when Kirk and Spock caused Harry Mudd's androids to shut down? Ask one of those "diehard" Patriots' fans what number Hugh Millen wore and what position he played. Guarantee their eyes will go blank, and smoke will come out of their ears.

Is it bad that I am hoping for a monsoon in Foxboro on Sunday?

Tom Brady has cracked bone in his foot?
Golden Wheels replied to Golden Wheels's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think they would just have the networks air a loop of the Jets game so we can all watch Brett Favre to feel better. It's that boyish impishness that will save us all. -
Tom Brady has cracked bone in his foot?
Golden Wheels replied to Golden Wheels's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
John Dennis of WEEI said it was someone who saw the MRI report, but he won't say who. So I would take this with a grain of salt. And some Don Julio. -
WEEI.COM: Sources have indicated that the quarterback of the New England Patriots, Tom Brady, has a cracked bone in his foot. It was on the Dennis & Callahan Show this morning. However, Brady is still scheduled to play on Sunday. They have a sound bite of this "report" linked on their web site, weei.com. Before anyone gets too excited, remember that WEEI is also an entercom station like WGR, and no one connected to the team says this is true. (But given their history of secrecy, they never would regardless.) I'm just saying this bears watching as the season goes on, even if it's just a hairline fracture in his right foot.

And wide receivers who could catch the ball. The Orange have no passing game. I wouldn't mind that scenario either.

Lesson of the day: When a NYC cop tells you to do something, don't give him any lip even if you think he's being an unreasonable fascist. If the dude had to pee that bad, then how was he able to hold it for another 45 minutes to get to his GF's apartment?

I thought it was blatant pandering too. Either Romney or Pawlenty would have been better picks. -
ESPN Ranks Bills Fans #11 In NFL
Golden Wheels replied to GhostsOfTheRockpile's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Before Parcells coached the Patriots, you could swing a dead cat and not hit anyone at Foxboro Stadium. I question the Patriots being listed in the top ten. The day after the Super Bowl this past February I rode public transportation in the Boston area. I saw not one single Patriots hat or jacket on anyone. Yep, loyal in tough times. Suuuure. -
The Temple of Obama or The Barackopolis

Large stadium with a spotlight on the podium. Lots of flags. Theatrics. Packed with an enormous throng of passionate supporters for the speaker. Yep, reminds me of the good old rallies in Nuremberg. http://faculty-web.at.northwestern.edu/art...99/Stadium1.jpg -
