The points about San Diego's roster not being so great may be true, but the San Diego job is in...San Diego... -
Description of the current Bills Offense

Quarterback deficient -
I think I missed the part where it says they were forced to play in the league. Did they not know that injuries were possible playing football? Did they not know how much money they were going to make? Why would a business choose to give them more money than they are entitled to under their contracts that were agreed upon? It's sour grapes and the ex-players are jealous that they played a couple decades too early.

Anyone else have the feeling .....

Fred is not a free agent... -
Right JR, just like the NHL is just a bunch of small unathletic Canadians whacking a puck around. Seems like you have a very evolved understanding of basketball...

While it doesn't look like it is going to happen, here is the rationale: Billups is in the last year of his deal, and he's lost his quickness and athleticism. He can still shoot, but he's a defensive liability and can no longer penetrate. Paul is the best pure PG in the NBA, and is a huge upgrade defensively. His skill at getting the ball in the scorer's hands would be huge for the Knicks. A'mare is a much better offensive player than Chandler, without question. But what the Knicks have been lacking is a defensive force in the middle. Chandler has the combination of rebounding/defense that could really help, and is a big upgrade over A'mare in those facets of the game. I think it would be largely beneficial to make those moves. The best way to build a team in the current NBA IMO is with a great distributor(Paul), wing scorer(Melo) and a dominant defensive presence inside(Chandler). It's part of the reason the Heat had such problems last year, even with having arguably the 2 best players in the NBA. Wade and LeBron's skills are largely redundant. They both need to have the ball in their hands. They got by on pure talent, but a better constructed team will beat them.

Any team with a QB as good as or worse than Fitz should be looking to upgrade the position.

So to be a Bills fan you have to have the expectation of a win every week? -
If Spiller fails this week...

21 carries for 115 yards and a TD this year. Why is it that everyone wants to call him a bust before he's even had an opportunity? Last year he was tentative and did NOT look good. From the limited amount we've seen this year, I'm definitely willing to hope he continues averaging over 5 yards a carry. -
Think Chan can handle Vince Young?
mike22nc replied to Haven Moses's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Vince Young is 30-17 as a starter in the NFL. -
For some reason I thought the Texans were still a 3-4, but it looks like they've been 4-3 ever since Kubiak got hired, which is also when Williams arrived. We will have to see how Peppers finishes the season in Chicago. I think only the elite of the elite are able to wreak havoc rushing the passer from the DE position in the 3-4.
-
Your point that 3-4 DEs generally aren't "sack artists" is true. Mario Williams is a 3-4 DE who has 44.5 career sacks at the age of 25, I'd say he qualifies.

Of the top 15, only Raji, Andre Smith, Maybin and Malcom Jenkins aren't listed as starters. I believe Raji and Jenkins are both seeing significant playing time in their rotations, leaving Maybin and Smith the only non-contributors.

You know what's going to happen? We're going to have the ball at our own 20 with 1:00 left, and Jauron is going to decide to run out the clock...

How many games can we possibly lose because of coaching errors before this joker is fired? I'm losing my mind...

They got the Raider's 2011 pick, not this year's.

Ray Lewis snaps & compares McNair to Jesus...
mike22nc replied to SKOOBY's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm an atheist, so I'm not sure about the timeline of these events... I'm pretty sure this Jesus fella died around, oh, 1500 years before the Spanish Inquisition and 2000 years before 9/11. To try to blame a man who preached to love his fellow man for murders made in his name is ridiculous and moronic. Here's a hypothetical for you. Let's say that I stated that I love and worship cows, and some people start to follow my lead and also begin to love and worship cows, but they then started to kill or otherwise injure those who don't share their belief. You are implying that I am somehow a murderer for my love of cows? You sir, are an idiot. -
Do you go to church on Sundays in the fall?
mike22nc replied to major's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
"I recently spoke with a Buffalo native who shared how sad it is there now, because few fans go to church on Sundays." Is there an option to reply to this post by saying I do not attend church, and I do not find it sad that others do not attend church? "That's not all you need my friend." I also find it condescending to tell someone who obviously doesn't believe in religion that they need to... Judging from the other replies, I guess it's just me? -
WHY ARE THE BILLS SO DAMN CHEAP!!!

I agree with Hossage, the real problem is the lack of ziplines...Why does the front office and Ralph not realize this? -
1. This is not really the time to make that point. The offensive line has not been consistent this year, but yesterday they were pretty dominant against a very good run D. 2. What does this even mean? You say they aren't willing to overpay a player, then show that they paid Dockery as much as the highest paid G in the league.
